I cried when I watched this. Thank you for posting it! This just breaks my heart. Whitney truely love the Lord I am convinced and she had a calling on her life. That’s why the devil fought her so hard. She was reaching souls and she was not ashamed of the gospel!
You saw the true ministering of the Word in that clip. Those people in the audience probably did not know God from a tree but she boldly declared the Word of the Lord and MINISTERED through song.
She preached through song. And that was indeed her true calling.
Heart breaking. Simple as that.
With the type of special anointing on that girl’s voice and her natural preaching gift (through song) she was a definite threat to satan’s kingdom and he went after her with everything he had. I believe that girl is in Heaven.
“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” says the scriptures. She was saved. So I believe she is with God.
Lynn and Preston:
I agree with both of you. Whitney definitely had a calling and she BOLDLY proclaimed the gospel to millions. Satan opened the gates of hell upon her. But I believe even in her struggle with that drug demon, Jesus still kept her until the end when He saw fit to relieve her of the suffering of this world. I don’t believe she lost her salvation because of the drugs. Even until the end, she was still calling of the name of Jesus and we know, HE is faithful!!
