Have you ever encountered a person who lies on God? They often blame God for their mis-behaviors. You will hear them saying, “God told me to do ________” or “God told me to approach her…” or “God led me to ….”
Don’t misunderstand what I am saying here. God does speak to us through our spirit—those of us who are born-again. But God is not doing all the things that folks accuse Him of. People are straight up lying on God.
Case in point. Just today a note appeared in my email box from a woman who has been hounding me with nonsense. In fact, I had to block her email address to keep her from contacting me again.
She represents the second woman in the past two weeks who have approached me with a LIE that “God” told them to come to me.
Woman #1 wanted to convince me that God wants me to believe that the Holy Spirit does not exist. I had to block her from contacting me.
Woman #2 first accused me of using vulgar language on my blog and lied that my readers also use vulgar language on the blog. Myseriously no one sees the vulgar language other than her.
I do have a category called “attention whores” and in fact, SHE is an attention whore. The word “harlot” appears in the bible. So I don’t have a problem with that word. Not at all. And if anyone else does, leave. It’s that simple.
Woman #2 returned today to LIE that the reason she approached me was because “God” told her to. Apparently “God” is so upset about the vulgar language on this blog that He had to go through her to reach me. Unbelievable, the lies and vain imaginations that people experience and try to push off onto others.
First of all, God has access to my mind, soul and spirit. If He has something to say to me, He has no problems reaching me. And He is a God of ORDER. I don’t know a woman more holy than my own mother. God would send a message through her to me before He’d approach a stranger to send me a message.
But again, God knows my address. He can contact me directly if He needs to speak to me or give me a message.
What about you. Have you ever had someone LIE to you that “God” told them to say or do something that you KNOW is not even within God’s personality?
American Idol
Tiger Woods
I would think God would know for sure whether or not there was vulgar language on this blog.
Lynn great point, and another thing it shows she don’t no Scriptures nor how God works.
Have I? I don’t have the time to write about people misrepresenting my Father. When these people come, the Word of the Lord is not even in their mouth! I find that these people try to use God to control other people and situations. It’s a form of witchcraft. These women and others like them want to control the content of your blog.
Why don’t they start their own blog and write what God is telling them since they hear His voice so clearly?
God does know where you live and He has surrounded you with people that will help you stay balanced when needed. (Your family, friends – people that are personally close to you.)
Lady D~
Lady D,
I had not thought of the control aspect. You are right. People sometimes use God as a way to manipulate and control others. It is certainly a form of witchcraft. Great points.
I’ve had so many men and women of God influenced under the spirit of Jezebel, try to control and manipulate me into doing some crazy things. If I did half the nonsense they wanted, I would be in serious trouble with God for not allowing the spirit of discernment to check that garbage.
@jjbrock: Even if a person could quote you every biblical scripture doesn’t mean they live a holy life.
There are liars in the pulpit too. I’ve visited churches where preachers interpret the Bible to what they want it to say. Since when did God want us to live in mansions and put your last dollar in the collection plate?
A friend of mine attended a church and the pastor said “God” wanted them to donate to the church. This was AFTER they had already given tithes and offerings. When she got to the ATM she said the majority of the church was there. What?!!!!!!!!
How many Christians do you see at work who go around saying God told them this or that ALL day long? Mighty funny he didn’t tell them to change how rudely they treated people at work, home or in the community.
I read Betty Price’s book (Rev. Fred Price’s wife) and she said a woman ran down the aisle to see her one time but couldn’t get thru the crowd. The woman said God sent her. Mrs. Price said if God wanted the woman to see her he would’ve sent that message to her too.
People lie on the devil too; like he needs lying on, LOL. A pastor I know said people are forever blaming something on the devil knowing full well they thought of that devious behavior themselves.
@facts, the word I should have used “UNDERSTAND” scriptures which is a big difference. Hey! satan can quote scriptures and he no how to use them too. God to Adam: The day you eat from the tree of life you shall die. satan 1st lie: You will not die if you eat from that tree.
