Why do people protect perverts? It never fails. HickTowners remember JforJesus. She rolled through here, defended a serial woman abuser named Darrell Gilyard, a so-called “pastor”, and then she took it a step further and insulted everyone here. Her anger was around the fact that we dared to discuss the fact that Gilyard was wrong to abuse those women. He was wrong to send sexual messages to young girls. He was just wrong all around. Not only was he wrong, but churches were wrong for transferring that wolf from church to church instead of firing him and banishing him from the pulpit.
Many of these so-called “pastors” out here are common thugs who prey on victims from the pulpit. They don’t know Jesus. Don’t believe in Him. And they don’t embrace the things of God.
Those who visit here often remember me discussing “Apostle” Gerald Griffith. That trick is a pedophile who preys on both girls and boys. He sodomized and raped children who went to his office for counseling. That is a man who literally ran a cult. His dumb members sat there and praised him, stroking his sick ego and preaching about him. Jesus was not the focal point of his pulpit. Rather, he—Geral Girffith was the “star” of his church and if you preached about anyone or anything other than him, you would not be invited back into his dirty pulpit.
That sicko now sits in a Baltimore jail, probably as someone’s “sweetheart”. His members threw a hissy fit and blamed the victims instead of holding the predator who attacked the children accountable. There were even a few parents who believed this freak over their own children. Can you imagine being that brainwashed? It’s pitiful.
One of the sickest tricks I’ve covered here is a married “pastor” named Terry Hornbuckle, also known as the Reverend “Freak“. That scary jerk raped women, gave women all types of date rape drugs and since herpes medication was found in his car, my guess is that he also passed his filthy diseases on to women. He presently sits his dangerous behind in jail.
The most recent troubling case is that of an accused pedophile named Derek Gillet. This is a man that the state of Georgia refuses to grant bail to. Keep in mind that you are not granted bail, it means that the state believes they have enough convincing evidence that they deem you too dangerous to be released back into society—and consider you a potential flight risk.
He was accused of sodomizing young girls. To my surprise, several of his followers rolled through here telling the folks here that even though they have no way of proving their belief that he is innocent, they still would be willing to put their own flesh and blood children into his care. Is that a cult mentality, or what? Oh, and all of his followers are fond of saying, “He is so nice”. Huh? The “niceness” is what draws in the children. Of course they let down their guard around a man who presents himself as “nice”.
I’ve said it before but will say it again. Think for yourself. Never idolize a human being. We are living in flesh bodies. Chances are, if a person is being accused over and over again with the same crime, more than likely he truly is engaged in that crime—even if you find him to be a “nice guy”.

Well said. I have to laugh at the followers who claim, “But I’ve known his family for 5 decades” as though that somehow makes it impossible for them to commit these vile acts and crimes.
Heck, people know my grandparents for 30-50 years and can attest to their good Christian values and character. That doesn’t change the fact that their youngest daughter (my aunt) assisted in an armed robbery in which a man died and she was convicted of the charges. Your family does not make you who you are either.
I wonder why lynch mobs feel the need to hang a man before he is convicted. Is that really what “Jesus would do”?
I wonder why friends of these suspected people would think people are not capable of committing a crime.
I know police make some mistakes, and some times target certain people. But If the person is in JAIL, WITH MULTIPULE COUNTS AND SEVERAL WITNESSES. I tend to era on the side of caution and keep them locked up until the facts are laid out.
Apache,
Here we go again!
Are you a Christian, Apache? I am. And you know what? Fornication is a sin. So is rape. This blog exposes perverts. Do you have a problem with that, Apache?
I am not a friend of this guy. I do not have a problem with you exposing perverts, I simply wonder why you will not wait to “expose” them until they are indeed PROVEN to be one. Nothing more notheing less.
To cop: I have no problem with this guy staying locked up until the truth is known. It is the safe play. But c’mon lets not hang him until he is found guilty.
Here is the long and short of it, Apache. People need to protect their children at least until this is settled. I believe that the little girls are telling the truth. I don’t believe that out of the clear blue sky, they started telling tales of sodomy. I really don’t believe they imagined all that.
You may indeed be correct, but it really does and SHOULD take more than an accusation to condemn a person that is all.
I believe that Prevention is better than cure. If there is sufficient evidence that someone is a child molester or pedophile I would want to know and make sure that my loved ones are kept away from that person while their trial, etc. is still pending. This does not mean that I am running around town and posting them on the sex offender registries, but I am merely exercising my right & duty to keep my loved ones safe.
