Walter Currie, Jr. Set on Fire, Charged

Something is wrong when a teenager can be set on fire by other teens, then be charged while in recovery. Police claimed that he had hit a student.

Any child sick and demented enough to set another child on fire is indeed a sociopath who deserves to never see the light of day again.

I had to re-read this headline about 6 times because I just KNEW that my eyes were deceiving me. How in the world could someone who was set on fire be charged with anything related to this mess? I see that the perpetrators were white and the victim was black, so yes… now it all makes sense. SMH!

I guess we have regressed back to the 60s.

This is indeed a CRYING shame yall. Where are all the BIG TIME black leaders???? How can they go several weeks back and say this boy did something as so to offset this hate-crime that was done to him??? This boy is ruined!
There have been cases where teens are tried as adults but they’ve quickly tagged these as “kids” so in essence, nothing is going to be done.
Who would even have a thought of putting gasoline on somebody and burning them alive? Only offspring of the KKK. That’s all!
See its times like this that really make my heart sink when I don’t see Church Leaders front and center and not trying to sneak some money to the victims quietly behind cameras. Hardly any well known church leaders act when they should cause their so politically tied to the community and don’t want to miss an invitation to the White House or something!
This boy will never be right! (yall know I mean without the Divine Intervention and an overhaul from God)
This is down right attempted murder!

    Where are the church leaders?

I hear you Lynn. The only thing my mind can equate setting a person afire to is that one has to see another as “trash”. Its common to burn trash.
