There is an old saying from the 1800′s that goes, a man who represents himself has a fool for a client and a fool for a lawyer.
Reginald Potts, the clown who is accused of murdering Nailah Franklin in cold blood, wants to represent himself in court.
The height of arrogance is when an idiot thinks that in spite of having no law degree, he would do a better job of representing himself than would a trained lawyer.
It is my opinion that Reginald Potts is a sociopath. Keep in mind that this is a man with a long record who has escaped police custody in the past and who has attacked an officer in the past.
He has a history of abusing women and in fact threatened to kill the mother of one of his children. He has had restraining orders put on him by women in the past.
Most interesting is that not only do video cameras show him slithering around Nailah’s apartment complex, stalking her, but he lied about his whereabouts on the day that Nailah disappeared and was ultimately murdered.

Bria, it’s a miracle that he was getting any play at all. He was arrogant, offensive and abusive. Why were women falling for that clown? It’s really pitiful.
I had no idea about his previous criminal history. I wonder if Nailah knew when she got involved with him. See, stuff like this is why I fully support and advocate that women run background checks on men before they become involved in a serious relationship.
Good point, Diva. But many women are so needy that even with a background check, many will proceed with the relationship unfortunately.
Good, let him represent himself. So a well seasoned Harvard lawyer can make him look like the idiot in court. Then give him life in prison.
that’s right Lynn…we have some seriously jaded, empty shell of a woman walking around..who’d rather have a piece of an idiot than be alone. but also these abusers are master manipulators! they’ll tell the new prospect he laid hands (in an ungodly way) on a woman, and flip it around to make it seem like it was the previous woman’s fault. the new prospect’ll eat it up…thinking “well i’m not like that, so I don;t have to worry about it” yeah, ok.
