Deny bond to flight risk, Mahamu D. Kanneh

Target: Montgomery County, Maryland, Circuit Court Judge, Ann S. Harrington
Created by: Carole Sarcinello

We strongly urge you, in your upcoming ruling on bond for this defendant on Wednesday, August 15, 2007, to recognize he is a flight risk, and as such, should be held without bond.

This case, and the prior decision of Judge Katherine Savage to dismiss the original charges, have made an indelible nationwide negative impression on, not only the judicial system of the State of Maryland, but has shown a lack of its diligence and priority in protecting its children from predators.

These victims (aged 7 and 1-1/2) have been victimized TWICE -- first, by their assailant, and now, by the very system empowered . . . NAY, OBLIGATED, to protect them, and if failing to protect them, to at least see that the perpetrator is punished.

PLEASE step forward and take a pro-active move to prevent either another occurrence of abuse, or an evasion of justice.

We thank you for your consideration.
