You know what? People die every day. People are murdered daily. The fact that people are murdered does not in and of itself mean that a serial killer is running loose.
In Chicago two homosexual men were murdered over a period of several weeks and suddenly there are homosexual groups claiming that a serial killer is loose. Does that make any sense to you?
Did the thought ever occur to any of them that maybe their boyfriends or spurned lovers murdered them? Why does it have to be something as ominous as a serial killer?
I wish peace to the families of their loved ones. Here is the story
Activists fear gay African-Americans are being targeted for murder. Two openly gay men were killed recently on the South Side, as CBS 2′s Mike Parker reports.
African-American gay and lesbian groups are talking about the murders of two openly gay Black men in the past month.
On November 17, 24-year-old Larry Bland was shot to death in his Englewood home. Bland, a security guard at Northwestern Hospital was shot more than once after struggling with a man who had entered the house through an unlocked basement door.
Then on December 23, 47-year-old Donald Young, the choir director at Trinity United Church of Christ, was shot multiple times in his South Side apartment. His roommate found his body.
“We’re calling on the police department to let the community know what’s going on,” said Marc Loveless of the Coalition for Justice and Respect. “Are we under attack? Is this a serial killer?”
Chicago Police Department Acting Sept. Dana Starks said, “I understand the concerns of any group, any community when it comes to homicide. As of right now, I cannot say whether there is a connection.”
The media services director of the church where Donald Young taught and led the choir, said, “Young did live an openly gay lifestyle; that was his choice.”

I won’t even get into the question of what on earth is going on at Trinity United Church of Christ. The bible is clear about homosexuality being a sin so I’m not understanding why an openly homosexual man was directing their choir. And by the same token, I’d feel the exact way about an open adulterer or fornicator directing the choir.

Regarding this post, I think that sometimes the gay and lesbian community look for opportunities to put themselves in the limelight. I am sorry about the deaths of these two individuals, but I agree that it is too early to categorize these deaths as serial killings.

I agree with you that there are times when certain groups jump at media attention, magnify things to bring themselves into the limelight.
Those two deaths are not serial killings. When you live a life of promiscuity, etc.—hanging out in clubs, you bring negative energy to yourself. Simple as that.

I forgot all about the gay choir director part. That is an exact indication of what is going on in the Church right now. Everyone is turning a blind eye to transgressions because they don’t want to bring any heat to themselves. In the mean time, it is perfectly o.k. for a flame to stand up there front and center in a pink suit and direct the choir without a second glance from the congregation. Yeah Monica, I’ll stop right here too!

I feel bad for these two men that lost their lives. But this doesnt mean serial killer, for if it does their has been one killing young black men for years.
The Homosexual communtity has a habit of twisting everything.
The rainbow use to be a symbol of Gods promise to never flood the earth again, they claim it as their symbol for equallity.
The word GAY means happy go lucky, care free, NOT your sexual choice.
Anytime something happens in the Homosexual community they magnifiy it.

Note that Jesus still defines sin as lack of love (Matthew 22:36-40). Fornication and adultery are unloving because each has a victim. What is unloving about a couple in a homosexual love relationships? Neither is victim, neither is unloved. Where is the hurt? Who is the victim being sinned agains? No Gospel writer nor prophet covers homosexuality because it is not the issue. The King James Version comes closest to a correct English translation with “sexual immorality” which is not homosexuality. (Remember that “homosexual” was coined about 1865, so any translation using a form of that word is a lie that needs to be ammended.)

I won’t get into a biblical argument with you here. The bible is very clear about the fact that homosexuality and sodomy are sins.
