Stranger things have happened, I guess. But check out the facts of this peculiar accident:
The single-vehicle accident occurred about 2:25 a.m. in Windermere, a suburb of
Woods pulled out of his driveway in a 2009 Cadillac SUV and struck a fire hydrant, then a tree, according to an incident report from the Florida highway patrol in Orange County.
Police Chief Daniel Saylor said two Windermere police officers were the first to arrive on the scene.
“There was Tiger Woods laying on the ground in front of the vehicle with his wife over him rendering first aid,” he told reporters.
“He was in and out of consciousness with lacerations to his upper and lower lip,” Saylor said. “He was mumbling but didn’t say anything coherent.”
Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, told the police she was inside the house when she heard the accident. She said she went outside and used a golf club to break out the rear window of the vehicle, then pulled him from the SUV.
Okay, why exactly was this married man leaving his abode at 2:25 in the morning? Why was he so upset that he felt the need to drive off in such a manner that he hit a fire hydrant and also a tree? Was he in some type of rage?
I won’t even pretend that I like this obnoxious guy but I am happy he is okay.

Something aint right about this.
Tiger is a millionaire, so he didn’t need to try and save a few dollars by getting to Sears at 5 in the morning.
His wife said she heard the car crash from INSIDE THE HOUSE. Have you seen Tiger’s house? It’s not double wide trailer.
She had to take a set of clubs to the window to get Tiger out? TIGER WOODS, one of the greatest Golfers ever, and he keeps his clubs in the garage like everyone else?
Sorry I dont buy it.
I read the newspaper articles regarding Tiger Woods’s accident and I have a few possible explanations/answers….
He and his wife had a row and he was either trying to get away from her and decided to go for a drive. When you are angry it is very difficult to focus, especially if you are trying to drive at the same time.
He may have been under the influence of drugs (prescription or otherwise) especially as alcohol has been ruled out. Drugs and alcohol affect your coordination, vision, orientation, concentration, spatial awareness and judgement.
Also, apparently, the car’s airbag failed to release, which indicates to me that he wasn’t driving at a fast enough speed to release it.
I don’t care much for Tiger Woods either, but those are a few answers to the questions in this post.
I have a feeling that we will never hear the truth!

Yes, I’ve seen some of the reports. If he was in fact cheating, good for her in taking him behind the woodshed and administering an old fashioned beat down/whipping!

If he did cheat that is still no reason to beat on someone. Just clean out the bank account, get an expensive laywer, leave, then send the divorce papers, after you leave. If he did get caught cheating he no more deserves a beating than rhianna or juanita bynum. A person deserves a beating if they come at you and you must defend yourself.
My aunt made a remark about this the other night, and I quote, “…they marry all of that, but don’t marry a wife…”. That being said, he married what could be considered by some (I don’t care one way or the other) to be every man’s dream woman, and he’s still not satisfied – presuming the rumors of infidelity are true. I do think they had a heated argument about something. It is awfully funny how quickly she was able to grab a golf club to “save” him after the crash. I think she had the thing in her hand already. I guess they have them sitting by the door in case of an emergency…
Yvette has always been the voice of reason around here. However I don’t agree. The old folks have a saying….”I’ll beat the devil out of you”. Apparently Mrs. Woods saw the devil in him and decided to beat it out of him. She started by scratching up his face and then when that was not good enough she grabbed the golf club. I believe that got his attention.
Let me tell you all something about this creep, Tiger Woods. This is a man who hates every part of himself that is black. He even created a “race” for himself: Caublasian. That means he views himself as Caucasian + black + Asian. The black and Asian part I can understand. But why did his Uncle Tom father teach him that he is white? He is about as white as ALL black folks are who have white blood from slavery.
When it came time to choose a wife, he never gave a sister a consideration. He wanted to go as far away from blackness as possible. I have zero compassion for him.
Good enough for him. I guess Miss Perfect is not so perfect after all.
@ LPressley – It’s sad that just because this woman is white with blond hair, some backwards thinking ill people view her as every man’s dream. Fortunately not every man would agree with that.
lol. I was going to mention his saying he’s a caublasian and the way he can’t stand blacks, but I didn’t want to go there because I thought I was being mean for thinking that. But since you brought it up… You’re right. I stand corrected, can’t argue against that. lol.

Sorry, but unless she caught him with his hoochie in the home, a beat down isn’t acceptable behavior. A golf club is considered a deadly weapon as is a pool cue.
The real deal will come out. I think he was trying to get away from here before the thing escalated a la O.J. Now, Tiger couldn’t afford that image.
Did this Stanford Univ. graduate think he would have much in common with the nanny of one of his golf competitors? (Yes, she was!)
Please enlighten me someone: why do these black athletes marry the white woman and that isn’t enough? Why aren’t they satisfied? The saddest thing is they are taken to the cleaners and the money that could have been used to help black/impoverished communities goes back to the white man, via the divorce.
Tiger didn’t graduate from Stanford, but decided to play golf instead…One of the issues is that our black sisters aren’t given the exposure and visibility to run in those circles and if we would have been a nanny we would have stayed that a “mammy”. Also, he picked someone from sweden who is 100% pure ivory…I really don’t blame her…She has two kids from him and just had one this year…She was pissed…Tigers black buddies and confidantes are Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley…I was reading that they believe the white girls put up with this mess, but she is not from this country and wasn’t having it…from media reports…she broke in the back window of the escalade to get him out of the the front seat…Right…

Thanx for the info re: Stanford. I just checked and yup, he left early — contrary to what I hve heard commentators report. He still married the “help” though, which makes me raise an eyebrow in his direction, given his opportunity to pick and choose in the rarefied world of golf.
Didn’t Charles Barkley’s wife divorce him also? So much for docile white girls.
As for his statement, it is clearly to block a possible domestic violence charge against his wife as well as a thinly disguised apology to her.
You make outstanding points, InaHurry. Tiger would rather marry the hired help—as long as that hired help has blonde hair and blue eyes, than even look in the direction of a beautiful, educated, cultured black woman.
