Just when we all thought that the Bynum & Weeks Carnival had left HickTown for good, we see that a cruel joke has been played on all of us—and I for one did not see it coming!
The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that Tommy Weeks, Jr. , the ex husband who FINALLY admitted to beating Bynum silly—has her back in court. Apparently he needs her money. She had promised him a $40,000 pay off. I have no idea what type of man needs a woman’s money; however, don’t forget that he was reported as having some serious debt (while teaching his church about how to be financially successful).
Weeks, Jr.’s lawyers are filing contempt charges against Bynum.
Hey Juanita, would you hurry up and pay this man off please? He obviously needs the money desperately!

Hi Mama Lynn, wanted to give you tip that it’s being reported Juanita’s father passed sometime last month, been searching the web but haven’t found anything solid, I just heard about it this moring.
My heart goes out to her and her family I understand she and her father were close.
as for da “Bishop” I think she agreed to pay some of his attorney’s fees was what that was all about and they’re probaly breathing down his neck for their “money” so he needs some from “honey”. maybe he shoulda used the money that he paid his way outta his community service with.
I received several tips last month (one may have been from you, but I don’t remember) that Juanita’s father passed away.
I purposely did not report it because to me the appropriate thing to do is make an announcement. She did not so I decided not to say anything.
Gear up. I believe the carnival is in motion again.
Oh okay, yeah I found that strange too. my best friend asked me about it I noticed her web site is gone.
I guess once you have tasted of the limelight and the interest is gone you’ll do anything to get it back, no matter how ridiculous.
Lord Please keep them silent. Do allow them any media attention, such as interviews, video tape, and sermons, on radio, T.V., Cable, or ham radio.
AMEN.
I’ll second that “Amen” but I have a feeling this carnival is back in motion. Hope I’m wrong.
Oh Lawd!!!! Make it go away! PLEAAAAAASSSE!…. Didn’t he read the reports and blogs about her being delinquent on taxes on more than one of her properties… so how is she supposed to pay him????
GET THE STORY STRAIGHT PLEEAASSEE!!!
Kessler is suing Juanita not Weeks. He wants his bill paid and for her to do WHAT THE COURT ORDER SAID DO. Weeks isn’t getting any money.
She is supposed to pay the atty, come pick up her stuff and turn over the range rover. Now she may be facing contempt and jail time.
Uh….CRSHEP…calm your nerves! You look like you are about to have a stroke! First of all, welcome to Hicktown. You alright?
I am not surprised to see one of Weeks’ followers up in here. In fact, I expected it. So welcome. Feel free to come in here and protect your boy anytime you so desire. Hicktowners are accustomed to you all now.
Now, take a deep breath, have a seat and grab a drink of water. May I offer you a sedative?
Look at this quote from the article: “she promised to pay her husband’s $40,000 attorney fees”.
My point is, why isn’t he paying HIS OWN fees? Granted, she never should have agreed to pay anything to a man who beat and stomped her. Had he paid his own bills, the lawyers would not now be looking at her.
And she surely was silly to offer to “turn over the Range Rover”. Wow. Tommy Weeks, Jr. made out good in that marriage and divorce, didn’t he?
I guess she has to keep her dirtiest laundry out of the public eye somehow! She has obviously made a deal with him to save face for her. I think she is trying to salvage a damaged ministry. After all her shenanigans, she can’t tell me a THING about marriage-she never could!
She was not married long before she began her tour with her wayward husband! I remember then saying to my friends that that just doesn’t seem right- just said I do and going off offering advice.
I wish they would just sit themselves down from ministry and repent! It’s best for all of us bible believing Christians!
onemom–I agree, I really believe it was a “cover-up” and she was willing to do ANYTHING to keep da “Bishop” off that witness stand. I remember reading the hospital report Mama Lynn posted on Hicktown and I think alotta people missed that part where she admitted “occasional” drinking, I think is how it was worded, of wine or something to that effect. Now I know there are some Christians who practice “alittle wine for the stomach’s sake” but that’s a bunch of foolishness!!! He had already hinted at some dirt he had on her. They both were MESSED UP!
I’m waiting for her new book “The Fall Of a Prophet>The Juanita Bynum Story” followed by a LifeTime movie of the week. lol
LOL me93! You are probably right on the money with the Lifetime movie.
