I was reading Huffington Post this morning and I saw a picture of an attractive woman. The source indicated that she is Asma al-Assad, the wife of Syria’s president and that she is looking forward to meeting Barack Obama.
Syria’s First Lady Asma al Assad said she envisioned her husband, Bashar, and Barack Obama joining forces.
“The fact is President Obama is young,” al Assad said, “and President Assad is also very young as well, so maybe it is time for these young leaders to make a difference in the world
Curious, I did further research on her and discovered that she was previously an investment banker and she’s a highly educated woman.
I found a clip where she spoke of the horrific conditions that the Palestine people are living under. I’ve always had compassion for the people of Palestine.

I’m impressed by her too. I just get a little nervous when meetings like this between leaders are publicized because there is still that segment of the population who believes that our President is really a Muslim and only going over there to meet with these people as some part of a conspiracy to take over the world. They tend to run with the innuendo and spread all kinds of lies, while not realizing as a world leader our President must meet with ALL leaders of ALL nations.
