Steve McNair is now buried and the healing can be begin. 
My heart goes out to Mechelle McNair. At the time that she found out about her husband’s death—and the shocking circumstances surrounding his death, she and Steve were looking for a new home near a lake to move to.
I imagine that she dreamed of raising her boys in that tranquil environment. She imagined having family barbeques there. She imagined herself sitting by the lake relaxing and reading.
But most important, I believe that she imagined herself growing old with her husband in that dream home by the lake. Perhaps her mind even went to grandchildren.
When a dream is deferred, it’s a painful thing, a disappointing thing. And now her dreams have changed. Perhaps she still will move to that house on the lake but things will never be the same.
Here is wishing peace and happiness and healing to Mrs. McNair. I wish peace and happiness to the four McNair boys. And I hope that they do not grow up with a hole in their hearts, wondering what could have been had their father not died.
Let this be a lesson to us all. Honor the marriage vows and do not allow the marriage bed to become defiled.

My heart truly goes out to her and her children. The poor woman can’t catch a break. After not only learning the horrifying news about her husband and the circumstances surrounding his death, there are reports surfacing that he had a 6 year affair with a stripper who reportedly “didn’t care that he was married.”
I truly hope that Mrs. McNair can somehow forge ahead and eventually find someone who will be faithful to her.
She’s a beautiful woman. But some of these dog men out here have no respect for a good woman.
What he did to this woman was horrifying. And I always go back to the dangers of cheating. Had he even thought about the fact that he could have picked up a disease and passed it on to his wife?
Girl, these dogs out here are just awful.
When I heard the circumstances surrounding his death, I really began to ask myself if there was anyone out there who is going to remain faithful to their spouse?

Don’t allow your mind to go to that type of negativity. Do that, and it will block you from seeking happiness with a terrific man.
What Steve did is his issue and does not reflect on all men.
Regarding his sons, he had two sons named “Steve”, the result of his womanizing. From what I’ve read, his wife only had two children by him. His other two are by other women, apparently prior to them marrying.
Those lust demons are too much.
