People never cease to amaze me and quite frankly, there are times when I wonder whether or not folks enjoy being “had”. I keep seeing and hearing commercials that say, “John Edward is back”.Not to be confused with John Edwards, the presidential candidate, this “John”,   whose real name is John MaGee Jr, is a so-called psychic. And for a mere $110 – $134, you can sit in his audience and listen to him talk to the dead and hope for a one on one audience as he gives you a reading.  source

This man has created an entire industry in hocking his junk and gullible people are just a lapping it up.I don’t believe in re-inventing the wheel, so feel free to go HERE   for a full write up, complete with scriptures, regarding the fact that humans are not supposed to seek out the dead. Doing so is a sin and quite frankly, you cannot reach your dead relatives anyway. God won’t allow for that. Psychics are actually making contact with “familiar spirits”, which are demons.

Why do people fall for this type of garbage?

…today’s spirits-whom John Edward and his fellow mediums supposedly contact-seem to have poor memories and difficulty communicating. For example, in one of his on-air séances (on Larry King Live, June 19, 1998), Edward said: “I feel like there’s a J- or G-sounding name attached to this.” He also perceived “Linda or Lindy or Leslie; who’s this L name?” Again, he got a “Maggie or Margie, or some M-G-sounding name,” and yet again heard from “either Ellen or Helen, or Eleanore-it’s like an Ellen-sounding name.” Gone is the clear-speaking eloquence of yore; the dead now seem to mumble.

The spirits also seemingly communicate to Edward et al. as if they were engaging in pantomime. As Edward said of one alleged spirit communicant, in a Dateline “He’s pointing to his head; something had to affect the mind or the head, from what he’s showing me.” No longer, apparently, can the dead speak in flowing Victorian sentences, but instead are reduced to gestures, as if playing a game of charades. source

Stop being so gullible, folks. Your dead loved one is not reachable. That’s a hard pill to swallow but as soon as you accept that, the more money you’ll keep in your pocket.
