Roland Martin accused of inappropriate tweets
Weird.
He tweeted about a superbowl commercial. David Beckham, the subject of his tweet is STRAIGHT. Yet, he was accused of making homo”phobic” remarks about a straight man?
Scratching my head. He should never return to CNN. Just quit and keep moving forward.

I just blogged about this…this is quite unnerving that the LGBT community wields such great influence in society.

Some things are better left unsaid. In the type of job that he has, he should have known better. He’s seen this type of thing happen to some of his colleagues. His tweet didn’t really serve a purpose.
He should have every right to express his opinion seeing this was a ‘tweet’ and not a broadcast for CNN. Now you can’t simply express yourself without the thought police trying to sanction you? Outrageous!!
People have this insane idea that if they watch your show or buy your product (music, etc)or use your service, they have a right to control what you say and do in your private time. Regardless of who you are. If they don’t like what you said then they threaten your employers and they almost always cave.
This brother will now go and apologize for something that was not his intent. The things we have to do to keep a job. Men make jokes that include smacking, ribbing and other verbal horse-play. I would rather quit then to make an apology of this nature.
We’re in a war people of God. There is an agenda to arrest our rights to declare the whole council of God. Don’t think it is too far fetched that one day the pulpit will be censored and ministers arrested for preaching against sin. It’s already beginning to happen

Any opportunity to shed the false light upon the cause for LGBT will be pounced upon. Brother Martin’s comments where true. You don’t fine many LGBT’s if any a Super Bowl Parties where the real Brothers hang out! And if one of those Brothers happed to display some joy upon looking that that ad, then Brother Roland is right! They more than likely will get smacked! Check out the Miller Lite “Man Up” commercials.

I am not necessarily a Roland Martin fan but this is where society is failing. Why are we worried about the LGBT peeps? Who are they to us really? Oh wait, I forgot they happen to be in very high places in Entertainment that’s right. This is totally ridiculous. I don’t think he ever inferred or even mentioned somebody being gay. Maybe Don Lemon pushed his weight around or LZ Granderson. CNN is a joke.
So if someone hates on me for being a Christian will they be suspended\reprimanded?? Sure you right. I am just waiting on someone to say “Yeah I said it, and if GLAAD doesn’t like it who are they to me?”
People should not have to apologize for their proper opinions. Its severely hypocritical. That’s why the land of my birth has pushed back hard against these folks getting societal acceptance..
They have chosen a lifestyle which is against nature, every religious creed and most nations in their structure as we know it. Maybe its time straight people organize a boycott. Maybe then we may find there if more of us than them.
Now Winston, you have said something there. We need to start boycotting stations that show gays….every show has one or two, they even have their own network, LOGO on Directv. You might just be onto something. I may picket gay days at Disney if our next trip conicides.
