One of “Minister” Patrick Dennis’ followers/women—calling herself “JaDiva” came in here trying to defend his actions. Fortunately her comment went straight to moderation, giving me the opportunity to review it prior to it going directly to this blog.
The length of her letter was exceptionally long but based on the lies, accusations and content contained therein, I was not going to allow that here anyway.
I will share with you all an abbreviated summary of her points:
A. She started off by telling a lie that the people here are engaged in “sowing discord” and using a “lying tongue” by exposing the false minister. She explained away her lie by saying the following:
What is this? The world spends all of its media and technology to tear each
other up and now the body of christ is cutting itself. “All have sinned and
come short of the glory of God. Just because your sins are not on television
does not give you the right to blast out your sister or brother.” This is not a
time to breakdown a brother or sister, but to look within to see what had you
following a man like this. There is the Spirit of Discernment. I have had many
assignments at chruches that had men of God, administration, teachers, members, deacons and elders who have committed sin.
Let us pause there. In spite of the fact that this man has [allegedly] literally attacked and ravaged his own church, she is calling US liars for exposing the TRUTH? The bible says that in the Last days satan will take the truth and call the truth a lie.
HERE ARE THE FACTS of what the false minister has been accused of doing to his church:
(1) Dated both a mother and daughter. Impregnated the daughter and committed the SIN of paying for her abortion. Abortion is murder, plain and simple.
(2) He sired a married woman’s baby and that was PROVEN by DNA evidence. The husband complained to the church.
(3) He is accused of going after and attacking a church member with a baseball bat.
(4) The women in the church have written numerous letters complaining about his wolf spirit and how he has preyed on them in the church, making them feel unsafe.
(5) Prior to coming to the church, he promised that he would not go after the women (obviously he had engaged in that behavior in the past).
And it goes on and on and on….
Now, the woman who wrote her loooooong letter ignored the facts above and instead accused us of sowing discord for reporting facts that are in court.
Questions to JaDiva (Assuming the allegations against Patrick Dennis are true):
Is the “pastor” sowing discord by sleeping with mother/daughter teams in the church?
Is the “pastor” sowing discord by preying on the women and impregating them and purchasing their abortions?
Is the “pastor” sowing discord by attacking members with baseball bats?
JaDiva then goes on with other scriptures and gives the following EDITED warning:
Be careful what you do with the “tongue”. It can kill, destroy and steal. This
sounds alot like the description of satan’s purpose. It can also create, edify
and sustain. This sounds alot like what our Lord and Savior does for us each
and every time we sin in our thoughts, acts or deeds. He goes before the Father continually making intercession for us. Prayer is a powerful weapon. Where is the intercession? Our ministry is a ministry of reconciliation of man to God. Not man to man. Man is fickle.
LYNN’s RESPONSE: Rather than advising Hicktown to be careful what we do with our tongues, have you considered asking the “pastor” to be careful what he does with his penis? Have you considered that? You tell us to be careful what we do with our tongues by virtue of us reporting FACTS, but have you told the “pastor” to be careful that he stops using HIS TONGUE to lick and suck all over women who are not his wife?
She then went on to say:
I am a former member of Bright Star Baptist Church from way back. My prayer is for this ministry. That each member looks within and has a conversation with God about the purpose of their assignment at this church. Sometimes, you are sent to edify and be an intercessor. The ministry is for the glory of God. Yes, the bible states that adultery is a sin. But spirits don’t just come where they cannot grow. Spirits identify with like spirits. So, should we just let him run amuck. No.
OKAY, I can agree with JaDiva that we cannot allow a wolf spirit to take over a church, but then she continues:
But we do not use carnal weapons for spiritual warfare. First, of all what is our ultimate goal as Christians. To spread the gospel and bring others to Christ. Reconciliation means that someone did wrong and breached a covenant and gets restored back to that covenant with the person that they wronged. We, as Christians must remain focused on our purpose here on earth and not get caught up in a side show. We must handle spiritual matters in a spiritual manner by those who are spiritually mature. Let’s look at Galatians 6:1-10. When reading any and all scripture, always put your name as the person who is at fault and the person who can help that person.
STOP! You are giving FALSE INTERPRETATION OF GOSPEL!
1. How is exposing a truth “carnal”? That’s #1.
2. GOD is the One who exposes darkness to light. Didn’t you know that??? God does not cloak sin.
3. What does spreading the gospel have to do with exposing and warning people to avoid a wolf?
4. You then say that when reading scriptures, put my name in the place of the person at fault. NO WAY! God says “Go and sin not”. Why would I be crazy enough to superimpose my name where it does not belong? You are CONFUSED!
She then gives a looooooooong group of scriptures, and says the following:
Drop your rocks!!! Prayer is a more powerful weapon.
STOP! I don’t need to pray for God to remove a wolf. HE ALREADY EXPOSED HIM! And it is a LIE that anyone here is throwing rocks. How is it throwing rocks to expose a rabid wolf, lady?
She then gives more scriptures and ends by claiming that the Holy Spirit told her to send me that message. People need to STOP lying of God! First of all, God knows how to reach me. I preached the sermon in my church this morning. And the SAME GOD who gave me that sermon is the same God who has entrance into my spirit, soul, mind, body. He can speak to me directly and always does.
DO NOT come in here telling me that “God” sent you a message for me. God knows where I live and HE has direct access to me.
Because you have lied on God, I’m thinking about banning you out of here. Hicktowners, should I ban JaDiva?
American Idol
Tiger Woods
Rather than advising Hicktown to be careful what we do with our tongues, have you considered asking the “pastor” to be careful what he does with his penis? Hilarious, but serious!
Lynn: Your patience with this level of religious ignorance is commendable. This tired pseudo-biblical diatribe from JaDiva is the SAME kind of manure that the defenders of Earl Paulk spread for years while his Victim List grew. Should you ban her? Absolutely!
One vote for a banning. Anybody else want to weigh in on this?
Banned for life! Loved your response….too funny

Administrator, Lynn has deleted most of these comments, as this individual is banned from here:
JaDiva said: First of all, there were no victims. Each of us are accountable for our actions. There are no rape charges. These women are just as guilty as he is of the crime.
LYNN’s RESPONSE: Wow! I believe she is sleeping with him. Sad.
Okay Hicktowners: I banned JaDiva this morning.
Look at her insane comment above. She said that there are no victims.
So the false pastor in her opinion has the right to attack with baseball bats and impregnate church members—AND pay for abortions.
BANNED
Not judging — but she’s an idiot. No rape victims? She sou
Sorry, my last comment got cut off. She sounds like Bill O’Reilly if she really believes that mess. And yes, everyone is responsible for their actions but the “LEADER” of a church is/should be held to a higher standard. That’s why he/she is put in front of a church and God’s people.
I’m just now reading this and from reading the first comments of her vehemently defending the wrong and rogue ‘pastor’ I suspected that she is/was probably one of his many mistresses.
Regardless of whether rape charges were filed or not, it didn’t make it ok for this pastor to lead a congregation while willfully breaking his own marital covenant and putting it all on display for everyone to see.
I am the first one to hold women accountable for their part in these matters. HOWEVER, JaDiva appears to be in the crowd that threw stones at the woman caught in adultery. She wants God to “deal” with the pastor while she deals with (berates) the women he had sex with…
JaDiva is either Dennis’ wife or one of his concubines. When a pastor violates his vow to God to shepherd the sheep HE MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE! Weak women and children are not safe in churches like Bright Star Baptist Church.
What part don’t you get JaDiva? “Shepherds are to shepherd the sheep NOT screw the sheep”. You are no better than the man who stood by and watched his friend rape and murder a 7 year old girl. You are one of the reasons why I don’t trust pastors or their accomplices (ministers) today!
To Patrick Dennis, JaDiva and everyone like them; Repent, the kingdom of heaven is at hand!
Lynn, thank you for banning this woman. HOLINESS IS STILL RIGHT!
Evangelist ET just sent me an update on the foolishness going on at that church.
I’ll post it this evening.
Lawsuits flying back and forth, baseball bat beat down. “Pastor” arrested. Unreal!
Lynn,
I’m glad you banned this lady.
Thanks, Berean. I often have a hard time reasoning with certain people so I just ban them out of here.
”’Reconciliation means that someone did wrong and breached a covenant and gets restored back to that covenant with the person that they wronged. ”’
I don’t know how people can seriously twist things so out of shape so they don’t have to deal with things.
Where is the repentance of the sin? Where is the fruit of repentance being shown? I guess she seems to think that doesn’t need to happen or something. Repentance means turning from your ways, and not returning to them.
I feel sorry for this person. Faith is not about cheap grace, and reconciliation with no effort beyond an apology – if he even offered that.
A true man of God would be humbled by the truth that was brought out into the light, and sincerely asked for forgiveness. It doesn’t just stop there! He is also to show his repentance, and accept his consequences.
People like the poster you mentioned seem to feel justified in enabling sin. I never could understand how they can live with themselves personally.
