I’m proud to say that I have never purchased nor read any copies of OK magazine and now that I realize how sick they are, I never will:

In an attempt to capitalize on the death of a celebrity, OK! magazine has paid a reported $500,000 for the exclusive rights to run a photo of Michael Jackson’s dead body on the cover of their “Official Tribute Issue.”
A close-up of Jackson’s lifeless face, eyes closed with a respirator over his mouth, runs next to the words “in loving memory.”

If you are wondering why they would run such a morbid picture—of a dead man, think “financial problems”. The magazine is desperate for survival and apparently thinks that by raping Michael Jackson’s memory, they will some how get pulled out of their rut.

ADVERTISERS, STAY AWAY FROM OKAY MAGAZINE!

Readers, next time you are in the grocery store, check out which companies advertise in that magazine. Drop the advertisers a line letting them know how upset you are with the actions of OK magazine!  Let them know that you will not continue to buy products from advertisers who would do business with such a disrespectful company.

Did they stop to think about the feelings of Jacksons’ family, friends, and fans?
