Nas has been on my “X” list since that fiasco with him trying to name his album “Nigger”. He sank deeper into my list when I heard him supporting “no snitching”.
I’m happy to see him confronting “Sly Fox”…that is, Black America’s enemy station Faux News….um, I mean “Fox News”.
And I’d be even happier to see him confronting his fellow rappers for their disrespect of women, particular black women via their filthy names. Furthermore, I’d like to see Nas speak out against “no snitching” which I have previously heard him support. The “no snitching” is devasting the black community, making it more difficult to capture criminals.

It was nice to see a member of the hip hop community take this stand. I have to wonder though if this was also a publicity intiative to promote his new album that was released last week.
