UPDATE: SAD to report the death of this woman, as her body has been found. Time for justice!
This beautiful woman, Naila Frankin, had broken off a relationship with a man who ultimately threatened her. Prior to disappearing, she text messaged her new boyfriend and a family member to say she was out eating and would return home soon. That was the last anyone heard of her. Her car and several other personal items were found near a pond. HickTowners, if she is still alive, she needs prayer. And if she is not alive, her family and loved ones need prayer. This is a tragedy indeed.
Police found Nailah Franklin’s vehicle near an abandoned building and recovered some of her personal belongings there. The information led them to a nearby pond at a golf course, but they did not find anything there, authorities said.
Franklin, 28, an Eli Lilly and Co. pharmaceutical representative, has been missing since Tuesday.
“We’re watching and waiting,” her older sister, Lehia Franklin Acox said. “We’re hopeful that finding these things will lead us to Nailah.” source

I read about this young lady on Essence.com. I am glad that sites like this blog and Essence are publicizing the story. We only hear in mainstream when the ‘Becky’s’ and ‘Katies’ of the world go missing. I do pray that this woman is found and unharmed and that her family be comforted during this time.

I was hoping that the would find her alive, but I realized that the longer she was missing, the worse the chances. What is with these crazy men who act like they can’t handle being left?

You know what really bothers me? I am not understanding why some people have this weird notion that if they can’t have you, no one else can either.
Because of pride and insanity, a woman has been stalked, threatened with death and now she’s dead. And yes, a wasted life and a devastated family.
Well Ms. Lynn we are assuming that her ex did it. I do not know, regardless even if it is not so, there seems to be a problem. I guess people are different.
Its hard to determine these things will happen because typically fellows(and women too), who have this behavior normally do not do it with everyone they have dated. Its seems that they just meet this one person who they must have under any circumstance.
Just have to be prayerful I guess. Stalkers do not come from any particular ethnic,educational, or economic background. You just never know.
