Check out this little boy holding a sign about being rude to his teacher. I like this. I hope he learns a lesson from it.
My guess is that his mother is a single parent doing the best she can. She is teaching her black male son about the importance of personal responsibility.

This is an appropriet punishment. There is no shame in shamming. It’s effective and cheap.
This is old school parenting and I love it! She probably said “I’ll be darned if I get a call that he is handcuffed at school for showing his behind.” He seemed genuinely embarassed and sorry for what he did. I hope other parents take note. You don’t always have to resort to violence to teach your children dignity, manners and self respect.

Excellent punishment. We need more parents like her.
Let the punishment fit the crime. I think black parents are too quick to resort to corporal punishment i.e., butt whippings. It should be used as a last resort. There are more effective ways to teach kids boundaries. I’m sure he will never forget this, never.
The key point is he is still learning.
