Monica Conyers = More Embarassment for the City of Detroit
The City of Detroit apparently needs some prayers, a full annointing and to be bathed in the Blood of Jesus. The madness just does not stop. Between their clown Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick using taxpayer dollars to fund his extramarital trysts and now this embarrassing character: Monica Conyers, City Councilmember and wife of U.S. Member of Congress, John Conyers, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee.

The only thing I can say is: if this is to be Kwame Kilpatrick’s successor then leave Kwame in office. Better the devil you know than this hot mess. If this is how she behaves in public w/no shame to her game, can you just imagine what skeletons are in her closet?
Chelle, my jaw dropped when I saw that hot mess AND realized that she is Rep. John Conyers wife. I’ve met that man in person on a few occasions and he always carries himself with such class and dignity. I guess opposites really do attract.
I just watched the video and I was left feeling just plain stunned. She had absolutely no remorse for behaving that way and she kept trying to justify her inappropriate actions with those kids. She should have taken the high road and she didn’t. It is scary that she is in the line of ascession to be the mayor of the city. She is nothing more than a hot ghetto mess in a suit and some pumps.
The children had more wisdom than did this grown woman. She needs to be fired.
I didn’t know “Sheneneh” became an elected Councilwoman in Detroit after her “Martin gig” was up!

I had to watch this again as I initially thought the reporter said in his intro that Monica Conyers had previously threatened someone with her gun and also was involved in a bar brawl. Yep, I heard correctly. Here are the articles on those two incidents.

Real life “Madea”
Madea has no business sitting on anyone’s city council, let alone being in line to become the mayor of the city. She needs to go and sit her ghetto self down somewhere or at least show some respect for her husband’s position.
