I’m sure that the nutty PETA people are happy now. Or maybe not. They constantly search for reasons to “get naked” and show their flat, out of shape behinds to the world. Now that talented Michael Vick has been sentenced to 23 months in federal prison over some pitt bulls (a breed known for killing their own masters, etc.)the PETA folks have no excuse for crying and taking off their drawers now. Thank goodness!
Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison today for his role in a dogfighting conspiracy that involved gambling and killing pit bulls.
The suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback could have been sentenced up to five years by U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson. Vick, who turned himself in Nov. 19 in anticipation of his sentence, was wearing a black-and-white striped prison suit.
After Vick apologized to the court and his family, Hudson told him: “You need to apologize to the millions of young people who looked up to you.”
“Yes, sir,” Vick answered.

Dog fighting aside I have no sympathy at all for this clown. He creates his own problems. He was sued a few years back by a women who claimed he gave them herpes and then lied claiming that it wasn’t him, but, his friend Ron Mexico, who happens to look exactly like him… Yeah right!
Now if you are all in the press about having a communicable sexually transmitted disease, you ought to sit somewhere quietly and figure out how to IMPROVE your image and not be viewed as a complete and total idiot, but not Michael. He decided he was going to engage in dog fighting. I guess he forgot his friend “Ron Mexico” looks exactly like him, so he couldn’t pass the blame to good ole Ron in this case. Perhaps he will have enough time to do some serious and much needed self reflection while in the big house.
And boys in jail… don’t get too excited… Ms. Honey got the cooties!
On the news in ATL last night there was a story about this little caucasian boy about 6 or 7 I believe they said. He was sitting on the bear (rug) that he had shot on his own on a hunting trip with his dad. The media made a big thing about it.
Well……… where’s PETA ? Is this little boy going to be convicted, is he or his dad going to go before a federal judge??? NO. Dog fighting is gruesome and ugly but it does NOT deserve any sort of jail time, maybe a major, major fine but certainly not jail time.
Lynn, we need blog about PETA. They really go overboard. They are now crusading to save rats. Rats are vermin and breed disease and can give you rabies. Those folks have way too much time on their hands.
