It looks like this fairy tale marriage isn’t ending with happily ever after.
On Tuesday, August 12, 2008, Premier Michael Misick issued a brief statement that he and his wife, LisaRaye are officially separated – confirming months of rumor reports that LisaRaye was living apart from him in the U.S. after his rape allegations surfaced earlier this year. The two have been married less than 3 years. Trouble surfaced apparently while LisaRaye was reportedly traveling for her acting role in a NYC stage play earlier this year.
It was alleged that during this time, her husband raped a woman from the U.S. who was rumored to have been a ‘friend’ of his wife’s. Rumors further surfaced that said woman was BET’s “106 & Park”show host, Rocsi. Misick denied the rape allegations altogether. It was later reported though, that Rocsi reportedly showed up to the Turks & Caicos Music Festival on the arm of the Premier in his wife’s absence. The two were even photographed together. Rumors again flew that Rosci was indeed the ‘woman who cried rape’ and did so to cover the fact that she was Misick’s mistress.
As if it weren’t tacky enough to show up at a public event as the date of a married man, – the island’s Premier in fact - presumed ‘jump-off’, Rocsi apparently stayed at the mansion with the Premier and hosted guests as though she were the lady of the manor. When this news about Rosci and Misick broke, it was then reported that LisaRaye pawned her 10-carat wedding out of anger. There were also murmurs that although she was aware of her husband’s indiscretions, she would not file for divorce because she did not stand to gain much financially, if anything. There were also speculations that she did not wish to give up her status as First Lady of the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) and all the perks that come along with it.
LisaRaye however, was spotted & photographed in recent weeks at rapper Lil’ Kim’s birthday party in NYC french kissing an unidentified man. The photos appeared on Mediatakeout.com. Lisa Raye has also been linked to former NBA star Gary Payton. LisaRaye and Michael Misick’s marital woes have been previously blogged about on HickTown HERE and HERE. Now, getting to Ms. Rocsi. Uh…what type of “friend” is that, exactly? With “friends” like that, Lisa Raye does not need any enemies.
Ms. Rocsi is akin to ‘Ms. Daisy’ in the Morgan Freeman drama. Ms. Daisy too was a ‘friend’ of Morgan Freeman’s wife and as soon as Mrs. Freeman was out of town, managed to wind up in a car with Freeman in the wee hours of the morning.
Married Ladies be very careful of your so-called friends who don’t mind keeping your husband company when you are away.
I don’t know why these people bother to get married because 90 percent of them end in divorce. Roving eyes and big egos play a tremendous role in these relationships. As for Ms Daisy, she deserves a beat down. You can’t trust some of your friends around your significant others, especially if there’s money involved. Too many gold diggers in our midst. It is a shame that Morgan Freeman’s marriage could not last. For God’s sake the man is 72. He should be looking to ride off into the sunset with his wife, not a cheap thrill. Yes, there is always some drama to report.
Lynn, don’t know if you heard about the top ranking Navy guy who was just relieved of his duties for creeping. I saw that on Fix News today. I can’t remember his name, but there’s more drama to report! The information is sketchy and I am not sure if he’s married, but he was creeping and got caught.

Most folks are not feeling a whole lot of sympathy for Lisa Raye because it has been widely whispered that she spent a great deal of time with other people’s husbands prior to marrying Michael Misick. I wouldn’t exactly compare her to Mrs. Freeman (Coley-Lee).
That is a very good point that BlackPolitical brought up about Morgan Freeman’s 72-year-old creeping behine! I really believe that Viagra is a genie that needs to go back into the bottle. The invention of that little blue pill has caused all kinds of problems. The AIDS rate has skyrocketed amongst the elderly and older men are spewing out kids left and right with younger women. I don’t know if Mr. Freeman falls into the Viagra category, but I do know that under natural circumstances, most older men go and sit down somewhere when they are seventy-two. Just a thought…
Believe it or not, I remember reading where some younger men are taking viagra so they can get their groove on more often…and as it happens, the AIDS rates continue to climb, just as DeeLove indicated.
Yes, Lisa Raye has a terrible reputation and at this very moment is linked to a married ex-basketball player. I have no proof that it’s true so I won’t print his name. But generally where there is smoke, there is fire and I believe there is some truth to the ongoing whispers about Ms. Raye.
