By:  Lynn Green

You all know mean, Judge Judy, right? You should see her scrambling during the earthquake that hit California.

This is not funny but I couldn’t help but laugh.

By the way…..I’d like for my California Hicktowners to log in and let us all know you are alright!

She’s a NY-er, we know how to haul it when something pops off. LOL Gunshots, steam pipe explosions, 9/11 – We keep ‘gettin up’ as my granny says. You see she hit the deck and was not seen on camera after that.

Mo’Kelly is alright…but the earthquake wasn’t any joke. For a second or two, we all presumably had thoughts of “the big one” flash through our heads.

The February 9, 1971 Sylmar earthquake was 6.5
The San Francisco quake of 1989 was 6.9
The Northridge quake of 1994 was 6.7
The one yesterday was 5.8 (initial reports) and felt “comparable” to the others. It was enough to make people worry.

I remember all except the San Fran because obviously I wasn’t in the city at the time.

It’s just living in CA, It goes with the territory. I was on the phone with my son…… I think he was kind of scared of the shaking. I lived there for 16 years near the main fault, the mighty San Andreas fault. Yea, I was there for the ’89 Loma Preato, and the Northridge, that was a pretty bad one. Pray and get in a doorway and hold on.

Ginny, I like your disaster plan. Pray, get in a doorway and hold on! I’ll keep it in mind for Florida’s current hurricane season.

I used to live in Chino Hills where the earthquake was centered. My mother called and said they were all ok, shaken but ok. I don’t know if this had any bearing on the earthquake, but that same day, I received a text message from my 23 yr old son in Cali asking me what New Test book he should start reading, and my baby sister in Cali called me crying and repenting and asking for me to pray with her and she rededicated her life back to the Lord right there on the phone with me.

Now I won’t say that this is directly related to the earthquake, but I know that I always pray for my unsaved family members and I thank God that the Holy Spirit is pricking their hearts and causing them to turn from the world and turn to Him.

And while I’m on the subject, I’m not one of those “conspiracy” people, but I find it “strange” that with the passing of the Same Sex Marriage Act, Cali has been “on fire” like never before and now the quake…again, no conspiracy here but…all I can say is it’s time to pray like never before saints of God…for all creation groans, awaiting the Lords return…
