I am talking about just calling it a day and taking your loss. Why does it have to come to a beatdown so that “saints” can be satisfied there is just cause?

I guess what I am trying to ask is does it have to come to disgrace to call it a day? Which is not to say we should be flippant.

I feel sorry for Ms. Bynum. The fact I consider her to a false teacher and money grubber does not make me lose compassion for her.

I do however have compassion for Bishop We(a)eks. Wish he had more self control but it must be so hard living with a provocateur. I am pretty sure she told him everything to cut him to size from his broke pocket to God knows what else.

Also if someone supposedly has a history of tantrums and anger, why be alone with him unchaperoned at 4 am? Maybe….. and just maybe …… Who knows.

I definitely believe that it’s okay to separate in cases where you feel threatened. Remember that Bynum was separated from Weeks.

I would like your thought seeing we are in Bynum/Weeks topic.
I know God hates divorce etc. My question is this. If a marriage is caustic(even if it has not gotten to point of physical) isn’t there wisdom in walking away even if you have to endure “Judgement” and Criticism?
Does it have to come to “Such a time as this” for one to make a decision.
I have my ideas …. but need other opinions

God is pulling the covers off these so called preachers. They are maniuplators, deceiving and they all for a show and money. They ought to be a shame preaching God’s words and not walking the word themselves. They live better than their congregation lives.

Nice website Ms. Hick I was linked here from independent conservative. Anyway this Bynum situation is fascinating for me. Sad to see domestic cruelty albeit amongst Christians. Kind of a shame. I personally have never liked Bynum or should I say I have never liked her style or theology because I have always felt she was leading women(especially so called christian black women)astray with ghetto theology. Looking at my mother and sisters(not saying they are any standard) salvation should bring about a grace and calm demeanour even under pressure not a rough and tumble style. As for those who think these exposure will "open her followers eyes" Think again. Like the followers of Jim Jones they will follow till they drink the coolaide of death.
