Joyce Myer Sits on a $23,000 Toilet
When you have more money than you know what to do with, chances are, you will take that money and start buying outlandish things, especially if your heart is not right to begin with. Check this out. It will give you an idea of where some of your donations have been going!
Hinn lives in a $10 million estate (considered a parsonage), owns a fleet of cars and a private jet. He travels all over the world claiming to heal people of various afflictions. Over the years, numerous news media outlets have tried to take Hinn down. They’ve pointed out his opulent lifestyle. They’ve tracked down people Hinn claims to have healed and found some of them unhealed and others dead.
To no avail. Hinn still packs them in. Let him pack them in — but none of his snake-oil empire should be tax exempt.
Whoever advised Grassley on this matter did some homework. The letters to the ministries are pointed and raise specific issues. His letter to Joyce Meyer Ministries, for example, asks for a detailed accounting of all expense account items for Joyce and David Meyer for years 2004 to present, including, but not limited to, clothing expenses and cosmetic surgery for years 2002 to present.
This is rich. I’d like to hear Meyer explain why a facelift is a legitimate ministry expense. Maybe she’ll say she just wants to look sharp when Jesus comes back.
Meyer is also asked to explain her purchase of a $23,000 commode with marble top.

[...] Pause there. Now this is pitiful. This woman was basically lulled into sending huge amounts of money to multi-millionaires like Joyce Myer who can afford to sit on $23,000 toilet seats. [...]

well she’s wasted her money…we’ll have GLORIFIED, not PETRIFIED bodies! I want to know what kind of BUTT (u know i wanted to say the other word) sits on a $23,000 toilet?! I mean what does it do? I mean-what is really going on? Oh man…I know Jesus (i’m being facetious) is saying,”huh…must be nice! they’re rocking Bentleys and I rode a donkey!”
He’s going to come back and clean house! those money changers that Christ shocked before won’t look nowhere like the fool as these megapreachers when Christ comes back! THEY BETTA RECOGNIZE!!
Your telling me someone sells a toilet that cost more than my car? Does it come with a DVD player and anti-lock flushing?
23,000 dollar toilets, million dollar jets, 100,000 dollar Bentleys, multi-million dollar homes. Even the unsaved people of the world can see something wrong with this, and yet these churches claim they’re being actacked. If everything they are doing is honest than they have nothing to worry about. But judging from the reations of the mega6 they have something to hide.
I STILL WANNA KNOW WHAT KIND OF BUTT SITS ON A $23,000 TOILET?!
Is there a lifetime guarantee, is it an auto-wiper?? is it a transformer- can i think a thought and it’ll turn into a bed, or a barca lounger, lazy boy. does it use water, kitty litter, sand? i mean what does it do? i BETTER not hear it flush…AND THAT SEAT BETTER NOT EVA BE UP when I come into the bathroom! does deodorizer spray automatically, like those automated toilets–i know i better NOT have to flush a $23k toilet!! will it take me to the kitchen, to my car? I mean what kind of butt sits on a $23,000 toilet and what does it do?!
I know… the Holy Spirit must speak directly to her as she moves her bowels and give her some prophetic vison for God’s people as an angel descends from above to wipe her annointed behind. Surely that has to be the ‘logical’ explanation for this idiocy.
Diva…i’ll accept your explanation!! roflmbo!
LOL
annointed behind!!! LOLOLOL. I do remember my mom annointing my behind more than a few times. I couple of years back my wife and I spend $260 for a toilet, we thought we had the top of the line. If she has the guts to buy a 23,000 toilet maybe she doesnt think her stuff stinks. Bria, I like the transformer idea. Introducing the amazing FLUSH-O-MATIC. ITS A BED, ITS A CHAIR, IT CAN TAKE YOU FROM THE BATHROOM TO THE BOARDROOM IN SECONDS, AND IT DONT TAKE NO CRAP FROM ANYBODY, well actually it does.
Hi All,
The Sacrilegious Six are monarchs of their own empires. They reside and rule over vast kingdoms which is made up of secular and christian businesses. This inquiry into their finances is going to show how wealthy they actually are. Believe me, these folks are wealthy!!!!
What a waste! I wonder how her pew sitter feel, about such nonsense.
5 Things $23000 could do for the glory of God.
1) Pay $500 rent on modest apartments for 40 families who face eviction this month.
2) Help someone who is disabled get a used van equiped with wheelchair access.
3) Provide winter coats at $50 each for 460 kids whose parents can’t afford new ones this winter
4) Pay the heating bill for 10 elderly people who are on social security this winter.
5)Provide $100 worth of groceries for 230 families to have a thankgiving feast this year.
According to Matthew 25:35-40 a $23000 toilet isn’t on the list of things that Jesus puts significance in. Hey I guess if you take those verses out and a few others that according to these pimps don’t matter anymore, based on their teachings at least, sure anyone could find justification for anything.
This is so sad.
Yvette, you are so on point!
Yvette, who knew that we could buy a toilet, or help our fellow man. Shows where her priorities are which is to cover her own……you get the picture.
I know I may be the odd one out on this but we all know that Joyce Meyer does MUCH for the Kingdom of God. If she purchased a $23,000.00 toilet with money that was to be used for the Kingdom, then yes, I have a HUGE problem with that. However, if she used her own personal money, then there isn’t much that I could say. It says that it is marble and we all know that cost a lot. I know people who state that I pay too much money for stuff when I could use it for other stuff. However, since these people do not know my level of giving then they really should not comment on my purchases.
So yes, Yvette, that list is tight! However, I believe Joyce does everything on that list and then some!
I always say, be Spirit led in all of your giving and you will be blessed for giving cherrfully and as purposed in your heart even if the one receiving decides to missuse it.
Monica, this commode was not purchased with Joyce Meyer’s personal money. If you click on the source mentioned earlier in the article it will bring you to the actual letter that Senator Grassely sent to “Joyce Meyer Ministries” and questioned many oppulent items that were purchased using the organization’s tax-exempt and public charity status and more importanly, the organization’s funds.
In addition to the 23,000 commode which was purchased by the ministry, two $30,000 a piece tables were purchased in addition to a pair of $19,162 vases. The Senate cannot question an individual’s personal expenditures, however, when people make purchases through a charitable organization’s tax exempt status that exceed IRS guidelines and limitations, it can and will be called into question. irregardless of how much good they may have done in the past.
@ divawidfevah: thanks, I stand corrected. Again, if it is church money used for personal reasons then I DO have a problem with that no matter who it is.
Honestly though, on the real: I don’t understand why anyone would need to spend so much money on such a thing. I was watching “Cribs” on MTV one day and I believe it was Gene Simmons (KISS) who had a toilet that cost up in the thousands and the only thing that he said about it was how “quietly it flushes”. As my Dad says, “to each his own”.
@ $23,000 I dont even want to hear the water splash. To bad none of these preachers wont go on MTV cribs. Iam sure they have some next level livin going on.
Thanks for that explanation, Diva.
Lynn
Lynn this don’t make sense to me. That kind of money for a toilet. foolish!
Wow! I believe in having very nice things, but this toilet thing is a real flusher!
If you are blessed from God you can afford a 23,000 dollar toilet. Joyce was not always big and probibly had to spend alot of money of her own at first. She dose alot to bring people to Christ I think God would rather somone come to him through somone who spends 23,000 on a toilet then not at all,who are we to judge Sin is Sin now he that is without sin cast the first stone! Let God Judge her because with the same measure you judge you will be judged and I dont know about any of you but I do not want to be judged harshly for judging somone else I have to many other things I could be inf trouble for and judging Joyce or anyone else for that matter is not worth it. Leave the Judging to the judge and lets look at the good people do.
RESPONSE FROM LYNN:
To report a fact is NOT to judge. And to report a woman sitting on a toilet worth multiple THOUSANDS when I’m positive there are suffering people sitting in her church and community is newsworthy.
Don’t tell me what to do on a blog that I own. I’ll report as I see fit, thank you.
Ok Lynn I guess we have a difference of opinion, Have you listened to Joyce? Have you talked to any of her members? Joyce Dose Good works for this world and maby she should have done somthing differntly with the money but hay like I said Sin is Sin and the Bible says that love covers a multitude of sin and it just does not seem loving what is going on on this Blog. Now I dont want to cat fight but I am not going to jump on the Ban wagon and slander somone who is with out a doubt led by God now she is human so she will in deed make mistakes but the bible says that a just man fall 7 times before the lord, so while you state worldly Fact I will continue to state Facts From God. Thank you
Cat fight? Over an article that I wrote back in 2007???
