John Edwards Admits to Affair

By:  Lynn Green

UPDATE:  8/9/08 – How convenient!  John Edwards insisted upon saying he desires a paternity test. And today his mistress indicates she will not take one.  How cute! Yeah, right. We are supposed to be naive enough to fall for this?  John, would you mind explaining why it is that this woman and the man who claims to be the baby’s daddy are both living in million dollar homes without any visible means of income?  LINK

John, you nasty dog! So the National Enquirer was on target with outing your behind, huh?

You lied and slithered around to avoid the press cameras. You claimed that you were innocent. What respect are you showing your wife who is suffering from an incurable case of cancer?

And are you aware that adultery can lead to AIDS? Unprotected sex with a woman who is not your wife is bad news. Which leads to the accusation that you have fathered a child with that woman (which you deny). Man, please!

Think about this. If YOU are not the father, yet she got pregnant during the time in which you were dating her, how many men was that hag sleeping with? Again, HIV is real, sir. Shame on you!

It was selfish of you to run for president after your wife was diagnosed with such a dire prognosis. But to think that you not only had her under that pressure, but you picked up some chick in a BAR of all places? You jerk! A good old fashioned flogging in the middle of the town would be justice for you. Gee!

SEE REPORT BELOW:

John Edwards repeatedly lied during his Presidential campaign about an extramarital affair with a novice filmmaker, the former Senator admitted to ABC News today.

Democratic presidential candidate former U.S. Senator John Edwards (D-NC) speaks to supporters during a campaign event at the Keene State University in Keene, New Hampshire

In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 42-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he did not love her.

Edwards also denied he was the father of Hunter’s baby girl, Frances Quinn, although the one-time Democratic Presidential candidate said he has not taken a paternity test.

Edwards said he knew he was not the father based on timing of the baby’s birth on February 27, 2008. He said his affair ended too soon for him to have been the father.

A former campaign aide, Andrew Young, has said he was the father of the child.

STOP! Huh? That hussy was sleeping with both John Edwards AND one of his campaign aides? No further comment!

Actually, I cannot contain myself so I will further comment. That chick, his mistress, must feel as though she has died and awakened again in Jump-Off heaven!  Can you imagine how much money she is going to get from that weasel?

Dang. So much for Edwards becoming attorney general.

I knew it! Although the National Enquirer broke the story, sometimes those tabloids are right on the money and this was one of them. Wow!

This is definiately breaking news. I read this morning that some of the democrats were saying that he needed to address this issue before the convention as it was not looking good that he had neither confirmed or denied anything and that his silence was going to hurt his political career.

I also heard on the radio Wednesday, that some campaign financier was apparently paying for Hunter’s (or whatever she wants to be called these days) living expenses. And at one point, she lived with aide Andrew Young and his wife and family under the same roof, when Young was claiming he was the father. You know that had to be a ruse as what married woman is going to let the jump-off and her baby sleep under the same roof?

It’s about time Edwards came clean finally and he needs to go on and submit some DNA for a paternity test and stop with the madness about I am not the father until the “Maury” moment.

Apparently she has already struck gold. She is reportedly a former drug addict and has lived in more lavish homes than most people do in a lifetime, because she is the jump-off and alleged baby mama of a prominent politician.

What I want to know is how do these men come to choose these jump-offs? They are not particularly attractive. They have obviously lived hard lives and it shows. Other than doing a few stripper tricks that maybe the wife won’t do, doesn’t know how to do, or can’t do I’m really at a loss trying to figure out how THESE women with nothing to offer except some well traveled private parts, wind up with these prominent men.

And I am still ROFL @ “jump-off heaven.” I have to borrow that one. LOL :D

What is with these men? Like Bill Clinton, he picked up Paula Jones, who was hell on the eyes. This woman is a hoochie, who knew quite clearly that this man was married. If you ask me, he can kiss any cabinet position or AG in Obama’s administration (if he prevails), goodbye. He said the relationship was in 2006, but didn’t the Enquirer, I can’t believe they broke the story, catch him at a hotel sneaking around recently? So, the relationship continued.

Why admit to the relationship, but yet still lie about the child?? That is his baby and his buddy is trying to cover for him. Diva said a mouthful about Edwards’s buddy covering for his fatherhood secret. That is nothing more than a giant ruse that everyone can see through. He missed his opportunity to respectfully right this wrong. He can only go downhill from here. Now that his integrity is demolished, he can kiss his public service career goodbye.

And what was his excuse for being at that hotel ‘fore day in the morning last month??
