I have made it clear about the fact that I am a conservative who is a registered Republican. NO, I don’t love the Republicans. I registered because the Democrats were out of control with their abortion uplifting and immorality, everything goes mentality. At least on paper the Republicans as a whole are against that mess.

I hope that Huckabee wins.
I was with
Barack until I found out that he supports Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. That woman HATES Christians.
No one who defends Ginsburg will ever get my vote. Forget that.
Barack Obama will win the Iowa Democratic caucus and Mike Huckabee will be the Republican winner, CNN projects, based on early results.
Iowa residents register for the caucus at Merrill Middle School in Des Moines. With 76 percent of precincts reporting, Obama had the support of 36 percent of voters, compared to 31 percent for Edwards and 30 percent for Clinton.
With 41 percent of Republican precincts reporting, Huckabee had the support of 31 percent of voters, compared to 23 percent for Mitt Romney. Fred Thompson had 13 percent and John McCain had 12.
Rudy Giuliani, who has turned the focus of his campaign to the February 5 “Super Tuesday” primaries, trailed with 11 percent.
Huckabee’s victory can be attributed to his overwhelming support among evangelical voters and women, according to CNN analysis of entrance polls.
Polls taken as Iowans entered the first-in-the-nation caucuses show a tight race for both parties.
With such a close race on both sides, voter turnout is key.

I am a registered Republican on paper (long story some other time on the reason why), but mostly a Democrat at heart. I am going to ride this one out with Obama. I pray that I am not making a bad decision in the long run.
One other thing, I was pleasantly surprised by the Iowa results. The results do show that people can look beyond color in this day and age.
I agree with you on this one. I am so glad Huckabee won. I will definately continue to be in prayer for him.
Welcome to Hicktown, TeacherS.
I like your website. Everyone, to view TeacherS’ website, simply press on her name. It’s worth your time, believe me.
Thanks and GOD keep you!
I vote republican for the same reasons as Lynn…however, I don’t owe anyone an explanation for how i vote. I pray 2 God b4 I make the decision and 2 4gv me if it’s not correct. Being against immoral policies (gay marriage, abortion etc) which came AFTER my deliverance from that life…caused me to look deeper as to what it was I stood for. I’m down with what the republicans represent…family, church, life etc.
I’m not going to argue about jobs scarcity etc-God’s the author and finisher of my faith..so if i’m out of a job-i’ll be upset-I’m looking to God to give me another job, not democrats, not republicans.
I’m not going to argue about abortions…yes some of these women have experienced brutal rapes etc…but having gone thru an abortion, the mental brutality i’ve experienced-wouldn’t wish it on my worse enemy.
If i could…i would have kept my child-I don’t care how tough the times would’ve gotten.
I WILL NOT vote for someone just cuz he’s black. Barama relented to the gay community added a GAY PASTOR to his campaign tour alongside of Donnie McClurkin-who stayed on the tour. won’t understand that.
I WILL NOT vote for someone cuz they’re a woman. our beliefs are not the mirrored.
i have peace voting for Huckabee, and HE IS NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL! I pray he wins!
Amen Bria. Obama has a problem with biblical doctrine it seems. Hillary Clinton seems to have the same problem. I pray Their eyes are opened before it’s too late.
(Usually I vote democrat but NOT THIS YEAR!)
@ Bria, Obama openly supports homosexuals and their causes, so I am not surprised at him having a gay pastor on his tour and Donnie McClurkin for that matter as the rumors are legendary about him with the fellas. I’ve also seen him in person testify to having had homosexual relations, but claims it is in the past and because he was molested as a child. Meanwhile, I never knew there was an off and on switch for for homosexual desires, but um… moving right along…
What are your thoughts on the latest bru-ha-ha about Obama taking Hillary’s comments out of context re: civil rights?
