I belive that Hicktown Press is the FIRST blog on the internet to say outright that this “the black man did it” story appeared totally fake.
If you are not visiting Hicktown daily, you are missing out on the most complete source of uncut, raw material and news out there.
Now an hour ago, there was an update that says that Ashley’s story is falling apart quickly and police are investigating inconsistencies.
I will follow this to its conclusion. But I have a question for Ms. Ashley. Ashley, on your MySpace page you bragged that lying is the most fun a person can have with their clothes on. Have you ever considered the consequences of lying on the lives of the person being lied on? What is your difficulty in telling the truth?
Your “black eye” looks like it was drawn on by an eyebrow pencil. You have told the police several versions of your tale and this is not looking good for you. It really isn’t.
IF you have truly perpetrated a hoax, I’d like to see you arrested. And it’s not looking good for you at this moment.

“Me”, there is a scripture in the bible about not calling people fools…but I’m sorry. She is one of the biggest lying fools that has ever walked on two feet.

I figured it would be a matter of time before this nut was exposed or cracked under pressure.
And what really cracks me up is that both McCain & Palin called her when this first happened to console & comfort her. I’m sure they feel pretty ridiculous now…. you would think they learned after the Joe the Plumber Fraud.

Ashley Todd fits the definition of a fool. There is also a scripture about not calling a person a fool but when the shoe fits…

Dee, I was shocked too that she was charged with filing the false report, especially after the police spokesperson said in the video that this girl has a history of mental illness. I figured they would more or less give her a ‘pass’ since she has a problem. Hopefully she gets some help before the next incident (and you know already there will be another at some point) gets some innocent person hurt as a result.
Notice how we haven’t heard a word from McCain’s camp. When the story first broke, McCain’s Pennsylvania communications director made some very incidiary remarks about the incident. The McCain official even told a news reporter that the “B” stood for Barack. The “B” could actually stand for any of the following:
1. BIG BLUNDER
2. Buffoon
3. Brainless
4. Batty
5. Beserk
Deelove, I am just tick off by that. She should be charged with a hate crime herself. I can’t remember the name, but back in the 80s a man killed his pregnant wife, threw her from a bridge (I believe somewhere in boston)then told the police that they were attacked by the same type of none discript black man and the police went on a raid and took as many black men into custody as they could. Most had previous records others didn’t. Don’t forget about susan smith who killed her two little boys and claimed a ‘black man’ did it. How many people got arrested for that? Isn’t that a hate crime? Couldn’t it be said that because of potential damage it could have caused, such as inciting a riot, that she commited a hate crime? Although a quicker, cheaper punishment would be to put her in a room with 5 or 6 mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, aunts and cousins of men who are 6′4″, give them all switches and let them have 5 mins alone with her. she’ll never tell another lie like that again. Plus it’s much cheaper than the lawyers, feeding her butt in jail and court time. I’m sorry but stuff like this makes me made knowing the damage it could have caused.
Yvette, I had forgotten about that case. The Boston man was Charles Stuart. Something good did come out of that situation. The Black residents were threatening to riot after it was revealed that the husband/father was actually the murderer. The dead wife’s family came forward and helped to keep the peace. They even established a scholarship fund for the underpriviledged persons in the section of Boston that was targeted by the police.
