Hello, Pastor Zachery Tims

Pastor Tims, come on up in here and join the Shepherds Astray  Club that we have established here in HickTown. I was reading the Independent Conservative blog today and learned that you cheated on your wife.

Are you joking? You did not think that the devil would snitch on you, huh? And another thing. Did you consider that there is a disease out here called AIDS and that you could have contracted it and given it to your wife?

The devil is on a tear, just taking pastors down left and right.  Jesus, help us!

I agree with Lynn. Why is his wife taking his place while he goes to counseling. Shouldnt she be some what involved in dealing with his issues? Iam sure she must be hurting.

I was just about to give him some credit that at least he had the common sense to step down, until I read down that his wife was taking over. Now, if I am correct, a marriage takes two people. This whole situation smells. Here’s my thinking, with her in his place they won’t lose any money during that time to pay for guest superstar preachers, because now with his wife preaching the money stays ‘in the family’ so to speak. That’s neither here or there, just a thought. Anyway. What’s more important, his ‘destiny’and legacy or his marriage? While people are concentrating on him, what about his wife? While she might put on her best face every sunday morning, we will never see her tears at night at this public betrayal. So many layers of trust have been broken that need time to heal. If he was called by God then it is his obligation to concentrate on his first ministry, his family. The other ministry will be there if he was truely called.

    Hi,

He’s on the Board of Directors at Without Walls International Church. I guess birds of a feather really do flock together.

My question? Shouldn’t they have BOTH stepped down and worked on their marriage? It seems to me that something was wrong so they should both be working on the reason he is a cad!

Phil is right, I have actually heard him refer to Randy and Paula as “spiritual parents” I used to watch his program up until my cousin bought a realtionship series from his ministry and he and his wife were teaching from the Song of Solomon. It was so outrageous(things I dare not mention out of respect for Mama Lynn) that I backed off, then another cousin who lives in Fla had a friend that went to a singles “mixer” type event sponsored by New Destiny and the way she described the “club-like” atmosphere I cut him loose. A few months ago I started back watching the program(thinking, anyone can changed, he really did preach a good word in theory) and noticed alot of re-runs. Did you all know he actually stepped down in Sept. but his program was still airing on the Word Network, but after the story broke, poof, he was gone.
    So, so sad.
