It’s really a sad day when the blind decides to start leading the blind, especially when the blind lead is a pathetic being with low self esteem and a lack of ambition.
Have you all heard about the group of teenagers who made a “pact” to all get pregnant at the same time? I wonder which genius in the group came up with that life altering idea. And sad that they never thought of the alternative—-to finish high school, graduate college, then marry and have children.
A group of girls at a New England high school got together and made a pact to get pregnant at the same time, so they could raise their babies together, a report says.
According to TIME magazine and Boston’s WBZ-TV (CBS), nearly half of the 17 pregnant teens at Gloucester High School became pregnant on purpose as a result of the pact.
The school’s principal said there’s an even bigger shock to this story.
“We found out one of the fathers is a 24-year-old homeless guy,” said principal Joseph Sullivan.
Not one of the pregnant girls is over the age of 16.
When some of the girls discovered that they were indeed pregnant, they reportedly reacted by giving each other “high fives” and immediately planning baby showers. None of the girls agreed to be interviewed for TIME’s story.
Of course they did not agree to be interviewed. Most of them probably cannot string together a coherent sentence, much less sit through an interview!
TIME magazine’s report said administrators began looking into the matter when an unusually high number of girls began seeking pregnancy tests at the school’s clinic.
“Some girls seemed more upset when they weren’t pregnant than when they were,” Sullivan told TIME.
A recent Gloucester graduate, who had a baby during her freshman year, told the magazine that she knows why the girls want to get pregnant.
“They are so excited to finally have someone to love them unconditionally,” said 18-year-old Amanda Ireland. “I try to explain… it’s hard to feel ‘loved’ when an infant is screaming to be fed at 3:00 a.m.”
Sign of the times, everyone. And the bible said it’s going to wax worse. Wow. Can you imagine?

This really sickens me as we will probably see these ‘mothers’ in the news a few years from now for beating the babies to death because they wouldn’t stop crying, or some other act of poor parenting. When will we wake up and see that our young girls are not being properly nurtured and as a result, suffer from low self esteem? Many lack fathers and the stereotypes that are constantly reinforced in popular culture that women are “B_tches” and “Hos” transcend racial barriers.
As a result, these girls grow up feeling unloved and that the only way to get love is to bring a baby into the world and eventually the sad reality hits that the baby is not required to love them, but they are required to love the child as a parent. I wish I knew the answer on how to better reach these young girls.
Those young, silly girls view those babies as dolls. Reality will set in pretty soon though because somebody’s got to babysit as they go out to play in the nearby clubs…
A friend of mine who teaches high school told me that there were 9 girls in her school this year who were all pregnant and sat together at the prom. She’s dubbed them the ‘pregnancy club.’
With so much sexualized mess on TV, in music and accessible online to teenagers, they figure that this is their way of being grown up. Then when they want to hang out in the clubs (once they are of age), they want to dump the kids off on mom/grandma, or they abuse the kids because they feel as though the kids have robbed them from ‘having a life,’ when meanwhile the kids never asked to come here in the first place.
These girls must not be good in math.
Your chances of living in proverty are greatly increased if you DONT:
1.finish high school
2.get married
3.wait to have children after age 21.
The odds are against them having a half decent life.
They probably never even went to math class, or social studies to know this Cop. They were probably the ones having the ‘cut parties’ and cutting school to go to someone’s house whose parents were at work all day, to lay up in a bed and make babies. (shaking my head in disgust).
