From Jail Kwame Kilpatrick Fights to Get Back Law License

by Deputy Diva

If you thought Hicktown’s ‘Favorite’ Mayor was going to sit quietly in a jail cell for the next 4 months contemplating how he cost his city $8.4 million by committing perjury, you are sadly mistaken.

From his jail cell Kilpatrick is still trying to fight to keep his law license.  A judge ordered Kilpatrick’s law license be revoked last month, when he sentenced Kilpatrick to 120 days in jail for lying under oath at a police whistle-blower trial.  Kilpatrick was also ordered to pay the sum of $1 million in restitution.

Crafty Kilpatrick however, had his attorneys file papers with the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board on Monday, arguing that the judge had no authority to revoke Kilpatrick’s law license.  Moreover, Kilpatrick claims he never consented to the revocation order, but rather signed it “under objection,” even though Kilpatrick’s law license was suspended automatically when he pleaded guilty to felonies in September.  SOURCE

What gets me is that this man obviously doesn’t understand the oath that he took in the first place when he became an attorney.  Attorneys pledge that they will uphold high ethical standards.

What exactly was ethical about him being the ‘village ram’ and ramming every woman in the village while he was married; using taxpayer money to cover up his liaisons and then lying about his indiscretions and misuse of his office and authority in a court of law?

Honestly, would you pay this convicted felon to represent you?   He has proven that he is willing to lie and bend the law as it suits him and look where it has landed him!  He figured (and still obviously does) that because of his political clout (His mother is the Congresswoman) and influence that the same laws that apply to everyone else, somehow do not apply to him.

I hope that the folks on the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board put his filing in the “Z-file”…. Z-garbagè where it belongs.

Considering what happened to Bill Clinton, there is no way Kwame Kilpatrick deserves his law license back. Once a narcissist, always a narcissist.

I think he should get his license back for a small fee of 9.4 million dollars and when it snows in “you know where.”

He has not learned a thing….he continues to come off as arrogant and entitled and does not seem at all concerned about what his three son’s are learning by observing him and his continued antics. It’s one thing to stand up for yourself and another to be so void of ethics and integrity that the only thing that matters is you and what you want. I can’t believe his parents have yet to pull his coattail. He is way overdue.
