Extreme Fighting’s “Rampage” Back in Custody
July 19, 2008By: Lynn Green
Do you follow “extreme” fighting? I don’t. Too bloody. Too real. The most I can do in that area is watch “professional” wrestling with my husband—-when he’s into it. And right now he is taking a break from it.
I don’t like the extreme fighting because the level of violence in it is such that it’s a miracle that guys are not dying during each fight. Well one of their fighters, “Rampage” has apparently suffered a nervous breakdown:
Just hours after being released from police custody following a bizarre hit-and-run police chase, former UFC light heavyweight champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson landed in the backseat of a cop car again.
According to Lieutenant Rick Handfield, a public information officer with the Irvine, California, Police Department, an Irvine officer was driving by a residence at around 4:30 on Wednesday afternoon when he was flagged down by an acquaintance of Jackson’s.

It seems like this guy is a ticking time bomb and it was just a matter of time before the long arm of the law caught up with him. How smart was he to run from police last week, when he face was all over the vehicle he was in? What an idiot? I, too, find the sport, or whatever it is called, too bloody for me. But it begs the question, if one is engaged in such a sport, how leveled headed can one be when faced with problems or conflicts? I don’t think he was stable from the start.

Sorry for the typo, I meant to say, “when his face was all over the vehicle he was in.”

I believe he ran from the police because he is having a mental breakdown.
