  Lynn I personally don’t like cursing, but I would say she loses her credibility by her angry voice and sarcasm. Although her sarcasm seems to be an indication of her confidence.

  However cursing or not if what she is saying is truth then hmmm. If not she should go into your Hall of Shame.

  I will say this though Ms. Lynn. There are people out there who in times of conflict with another will scandalize and expose all of the other persons secrets, knowing full well that the other person will not stoop to that level. Anyway………. If you go to AJC whenever a JB story comes out, in the comments out of a hundred she may get 2 or 3 positive remarks. I suggest she chill and go get therapy because people are fed up and she has become the poster girl for Pastoral abuse.

  The reason why I talked about her cursing is because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. What is in her heart? Filthy language and heaven only knows what else.

  I mentioned the fact that she appears to have some type of anger and bitterness. But along with that is the dirty mouth.

  If she were a chick off the street, I wouldn’t think twice about it. Par for the course. BUT…this is a woman who has set herself up as though she is speaking on behalf of Christianity.

  Haha Lynn She obviously is not speaking on behalf of christianity. She also obvioisly has an axe to grind. I agree with you, still even with her foolishenss thre is soem truth. The truth of how people are laying themselves up to be used and abused.

  If you read this woman’s profile, she claimed to have been abused as a foster child in a Pastors home. If thats true that may explain her anger. As to why her venom is directed at JB in particular? I could only speculate.

  Anyway I like Hicktown. YOu have yoru standards on your blog without being arrogant and disrespectful to your members. I abhor blogs whose owners talk down to people as if… Hicktown is cool

  This woman receives some of her “tips” from questionable sources. At least one of her so-called tips came from a man(???) who calls himself(?) “Obnoxious”.

  Okay, now I know I am not crazy, but I do recall reading one news article right after the scandal broke about Juanita Bynum’s husband attacking her, that they were separated and SHE MOVED OUT and left him to go live with 2 women. I thought that sounded strange and know personally know some (closet) lesbians who have left their husbands in order to move in with women.

  Now, I’m not saying the Profit-ess is a lesbian, but to me it is
  very strange when a woman leaves her husband to move in with a woman. There are battered women’s shelters all over and so much assistance is offered to battered women that you can get your own place. Furthermore, this woman had plenty of money that she could have undoubtedly bought or rented her own apartment somewhere in a gated community, but moving in with a woman or women is very suspect in my book.

  Another thing that further raised my antenna was that another Atlanta female minister who was quoted in the media several times regarding this incident, admitted once at a women’s retreat that I attended back in the late 90’s that SHE had engaged in a lesbian relationship with one of her members who was very ‘attentive’ towards her. She claimed that the relationship was wrong and ended it, but admits that she did get caught up for a moment because she liked the attention and it made her feel beautiful and revered. Now this is not something someone told me, but something I witnessed and heard with my own ears.

  Now, as for this Deena Jones woman, I’d never heard of her until today. I did watch both youtube videos and didn’t hear her cuss until the end of the second. She did quote the statement from William (she does give his last name) and cites a written article by him in which he outlines words laced with profanity that were exchanged between he and Tina Culpepper who has claimed she is Juanita Bynum’s sister, but Deena Jones and this William/Obnoxious person, alleges is not.

  If you look at William’s myspace page, you can tell that he is quite ‘flambouyant’ and (I won’t beat around the bush here…)undoutedly gay. I suspect he is in some circle with the down low folks (especially those in the church) and this is more than likely how this scandalous information is being leaked.

  The saying, “What is done in darkness, always comes to light” is simply playing out here. Weeks has said time and time again that there are 2 sides to every story and if this woman is promising that there is some sex tape abound somewhere and we will see it or hear about it surfacing at the commencement of one of these trials, I would not be surprised if that is soon posted on youtube.

  I just think that this should be a wake up call to these mega preachers who lead double lives to be very careful with what they do and say as they are responsible for the salvation of many and God is not to be mocked!

  Though deenajones1’s video may have been unpleasant for some, it is nowhere near slanderous or libelous from a legal standpoint. DJ1 made no original claims herself about anyone or anything. She merely reported what “sources” alleged — just like the press does. So if anyone wanted to try and sue DJ1, the lawsuit would not even make it to court.

  I find it interesting that you and others here are getting so upset and expending so much energy over something that is supposedly false. If it’s nothing but lies, I would think people would simply ignore it

  I’m happy that you are not the typical negro b/c HickTown is not your typical community.

  Therefore, you should fit right in.

  You claim that several of us have gotten “upset”. No, I’m not upset.

  However, I do find the allegations of lesbianism without proof to be slanderous, particularly to the two women who are not public figures.

  That’s all I’m saying for the moment. The allegations may very well be true and we’ll find out soon if they are. But the woman who presented the allegations was mean spirited and appeared to have a personal axe to grind. Her demeanor left much to be desired.

  This chick, Deena, has now added another name to her mess. This one is “Prophetess Tanya Hall” who supposedly also was involved in the “alleged” sex tape of Juanita Bynum.

  Hmmmmm…….wonder how many more names will be thrown out there regarding a tape that she has not personally seen.

  I would not put names out there without personally seeing such a tape. I’d have to see it with my own eyes to believe it.

  And this is coming from me…Lynn, who is CLEAR that I DO NOT support Bynum or Weeks.

  This is why I have a problem with what Deena is doing.

  Scenario

  Suppose someone got hold of my picture, sent it to Deena and accused me of “alledgedly” dyking down with Juanita Bynum and her crew. Never mind the fact that I have never met Ms. Bynum personally and don’t know her. But if some enemy sent Deena my picture and told a filthy lie on me, Deena very well may post it and think that by throwing in the word “alleged” that it’s okay.

  No, it’s not okay to drag innocent people through vomit and feces. Those women should hire a lawyer, and tell Deena to put up the video tape or shut up.

  One more thing…(this obviously is disturbing my spirit)…

  On one of her video tapes, Deena instructed the viewing audience that if they see any of the women in church, walk up to them and say, “I know you’ve been bumping and grinding with Juanita Bynum”.

  She said something to that effect. NOW, let’s assume that someone takes Deena’s advice and approaches one of the women with that accusation. And let’s say the woman TRULY is innocent.

  What psychological effects will it have on an innocent woman? And you are telling me those women (if innocent) are not being slandered? Produce the videotape. Simple as that.

  I have to agree with “NYTN” on this one. While some may not care for Deena Jones and her youtube pages, as long as she is citing her sources there is legally no slander or libel.

  Lynn, I’m sorry that someone sent your picture and attached you to this ugly drama, but I would simply e-mail her and state what you posted here that it is false and ask her for the name of this source who sent your photograph and look into purusing slander and libel against the individual who sent your picture and made those false statements.

  As for her ‘potty mouth’ she doesn’t say that she is some church official or claims to be saved, santified and Holy Ghost filled, so she is pretty much entitled to say what she wants on her page and in her videos.

  This is demonic! All of this talk tantamouts to gossip in the worst way. Do you not think its strange that other female ministers or Christians are the ones who are putting this mess out. Juanita is not stupid; she does not play with God. What is really sick about all of these rumors are everyone is jumping to conclusions. The So-called prophetess or (Juanita hater) keeps saying that it is “alledged” “that I have no proof” or “no one knows for sure.” Nevertheless, she is still running a mile a minute with more slander.

  LET ME GIVE YOU A REVELATION THAT YOU CAN RUMOR ABOUT: A fellow Christian had a vision where the Lord actually allowed him to visit Hell while he was sleeping. He talks about the horror, the loneliness, the heat, the torment, the torture by demons, and the smell of buring flesh. He only felt damned and hopeless while there. I say that to highlight the seriousness of this claim. If it was true, we could deal with it. However, she says it is not true. If she keeps doing what she is doing, it will be catastrophic for her.

  All that matters is that a crime was committed. A woman was almost killed. I am not interested in anything outside of the law doing its job. Many (mostly females) are talking about her expensive wedding, her alledged sexuality, her better-than-thou attitude and the likes. What this tells me is that she is doing something right. “No weapon formed against her is going to prosper.”

  Juanita has always had enemies, and they have been mostly females and Christians. When a female minister is successful, other female ministers will go out of their way to scandalize their name. Did you not noticed how she has made several YOUTUBE videos then began to state that she DOES NOT HAVE ANY EVIDENCE AND THAT IT IS HEARSAY? A person of God would NEVER do such a thing. Someone with ulterior motives will.

  Bishop Weeks will and is going to use any and every tool available. He will not come up with a tape. Think about it, even if she was twisted sexaully- she would never allow a recording of herself in a compromising position. When this all blows over, every mouth (big or small) will be shut. I do not believe God will go to battle for someone living in secret sin. I do have the backing of the Word of God about His attitude against gossipers. They can destroy a church quicker than a Tsunami. They are Satan’s little helpers.

  Water seeks its own level. A bitter fountain will not give out sweet water. If the gossiping prophetess feels the need to come out with things that she said are not true but continues to fabricate, it is because of the secret sin in her. If holiness is in your heart, it will make its way out of your mouth.

  I hope that I am not being rude or out of line with what I am about to say because I want to be respectful of HicktownPress.

  I just looked at some of that video by Deenajones1 and I have to say that I could not watch it all. And it is not because of what she is saying, I mean I did not even look at it for more than 2 mins, but because of the way she speaks. I find her speech pattern very annoying. Seems like she is just trying to find anything to say about JB (and I do not support JB). Maybe DJ1 should write a script if she wants to be more effective because most people with any sense will not be able to listen to her for too long. And I know that you all were discussing the content but I could not get to that based on the presentation. If you want someone to listen to what you have to say you need to present it well and in a manner that will make people want to “stay tuned”.

  I also think she seems to have some kind of agenda and she is unstable. Just my humble opinion.

  First of all Id like 2 say Richard Im in total agreement with u and I stand in one accord with everything U said-Iv saw the tapeing of this Deena Jones ,I hear alot of ppl claiming shes not saved or never professed being holy -so in other words she has a pass 2 curse and say the things she has-If Im not mistaken She mentioned how Her Lord and Jesus Christ will Not be Done wrong and she will Not allow the PPl of God 2 believe Juanita -if She is saved-IF!! shes not being a good effective witness Herself Cursing Like she never had Salvation -Where is the proof-I personally believe shes lost her mind-Shes wont find it lying on ppl and Even if it was true (which I doubt)she should be somewhere praying and Not adding a torch 2 the alleged fire-PPl like her make it bad for new christians tryna recieve a message -Not the messengers business-This looks so terrible 2 be in the black community-U never see Real sisters reuniteing 2 heal Hurting saints-All U see is bashing-Then u wonder why the white ppl LAUGH AT THE IGNORANCE of ppl Like Deena who tears her own ppl down-U may see Gossip everywhere in the media -But atleast christian white folk Do stick together Thats something each of these christians and the body of Christ needs 2 practise more of the Word of God and uniteing- His house will not stand devided-Shes not doing anything 2 help this situation-I agree there something terribly wrong with Deena and shes looking for her emptyness 2 be filled or a void 2 be filled through bashing Juanita Personally- I feel sorry 4 her-and I dont believe her one bit-be blessed!
