We have blogged about Shaq in the past HERE. In fact, the latest article appeared only last week, in which Lynn reported that Shaq and his wife Shaunie have elected to reconcile.
Hmmmm…I wonder if that will still be the case in light of yesterday’s explosive developments.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Richard Hicks granted Alexis Miller a restraining order after reviewing her allegations that the NBA player stalked her, threatened her with bodily harm and made harassing phone calls in which he breathed heavily into the phone before hanging up. SOURCE
Miller, a 23-year-old rapper known professionally as Maryjane, claimed she ended an intimate relationship with O’Neal last month. She alleged he then threatened to pay performers $50,000 each not to work with her.

And check out her Myspace page HERE where she calls herself “Best Female Rapper Alive.” In her song “MaryJane Don’t Stop,” she boasts “Every ballplayer I meet wants me to marry em.”
Wow! Someone obviously has an exaggerated opinion of her own self importance, but then again maybe not, since Shaq reportedly sent threatening e-mails to Miller, clearly outlining his threats if she actually left him.
Under terms of the temporary restraining order, Shaq is prohibited from having any contact or even coming within 200 yards of Miller or her 19-month-old son. O’Neal, resides in Florida, and according to Miller’s attorney, is not is not the father of Miller’s child.
Sigh! Another circus has come to town!

I just don’t get it! Shaquile O’Neal has a beautiful wife who has publicly declared that she does not want their marriage to end. Even when he announced that HE wanted a divorce, I remember thinking that his explanations sounded trivial. This is a serial adulterer who just won’t take no for an answer. He was trying to get rid of his wife so that he could have the freedom to roam uninhibitedly. He stands to lose a devoted (beautiful) spouse, a unified household for his children and the respect of the public. Why won’t he grow up, zip it up and then go sit down somewhere??? I am getting ready to nominate him for the Bozo the Clown award!

Wow, and right after his wife’s announcement that they are getting back together. I agree Deelove, his wife is probably trying to do the “forgiving” thing for the sake of the children (money may play a big part in it as well) and he still feels the need to “sow his wild oats.”
I feel sorry for the children that have to live through this publicity and for his wife Shaunie.
I still pray that they both get a relationship with Jesus, seek sound marriage counseling and reconcile the marriage.

One more reason why Shaq is not worthy of being called a role model for kids. I hope his wife leaves him this time. There is so much disrespect for the wives in many of these stories. This is a man with children and it begs the question of what is he teaching his own kids? Simply shameful but not unexpected.

I blame Shaq for his horrible behavior, but no one seems to ever look at these young tramps that invade these marriages as well! The stalking might not have happened if she wasn’t messing with a married man to begin with! Her behavior don’t make her no victim! She was wrong for messing with that married man! Both of them need to grow up!!!

Actually here in Hicktown we do get on the sleezy women who destroy marriages. It’s just that in this case we did not because Shaq is a serial adulterer.
