If you have not yet heard of Desmond Hatchett, you will. In fact, you have at this point. He is the 29 year old irresponsible baby making machine who represents all that’s wrong in the black community. 
Here are the facts:
a. It is not known how many children Desmond has but it’s at least 20…or is it 21? At least 11 mothers are involved
b. He works a minimum wage job
c. His youngest known child is an infant and his oldest known child is eleven
d. He can only afford to pay about $2.00 per month in child support to his 21 children
e. The state picks up where this pathetic being is unable to pay
At what point does a pitiful being like this stop, think, and get “fixed” so that he cannot produce anymore children? Has the thought occurred to him with all that unprotected sex that maybe he has picked up a disease? What are his goals in life beyond sex with as many women as possible?
He is in the news but he is not alone. Too many irresponsible black males are running loose. We can talk about his ignorant person all day long but does anyone have suggestions on how the black community can rid itself of this type of vermin?

This is pathetic. Quote: “I didn’t intend to have this many. It just happened.” I didn’t think things like that could ‘just happen.’
I know some won’t agree, but if he’s being honest, and the women knew what they were getting into, they are just as guilty of this madness as he is. Poor children. Poor tax payers. Why are we punished for this type of idiocy?
He is obviously a slave to his penis and yes he is irresponsible and careless. I have to also fault some of these women, especially from baby mama #2 on down to #11 or whatever.
In this day and age of AIDS and other incurable sexually transmitted diseases, it is very disturbing that no one was obviously using condoms here. And moreover, when you decide to open your legs to someone, you at least ought to know some KEY things about that person like their FULL NAME, How many children they have, Whether they can support those children and any potential ones that the two of you may create?
You should also be concerned with things like: what diseases run in that persons family? Is there a history of mental illness? Was anyone in this person’s family in special ed?
(or maybe these are just the questions I would ask).
But I find it hard to believe that these women, especially the last few baby mamas, did NOT know that he had this many children. It is obvious he is not a rapper with a record deal, nor is he a major athlete with a professional contract, so they should have known there was NO WAY he could financially support himself, let alone the kids he has or any MORE children.
When cases like this go to court, the judge will usually tell the ’subsequent’ baby mamas that they had to have KNOWN that he had all these other kids and they were here before her kids came and he has to take care of those kids and as a result, she will get whatever residuals, if any, are left over, because he also has to maintain a standard of living as well.
My suggestion is FORCED STERILIZATION!!
I blame the baby mama’s as well for this fiasco. Some women try to “trap” a man by having his baby. As you know it doesn’t work. Women it’s your body. You have the right to say no. Stop being used and abused by men. Men are also to be held accountable. Me, personally he should be locked up for life.
Sadly, the kids suffer the most.

DeeLove, you bring up a good point that PART of me absolutely agrees. Just like with OctoMom, I think the doctors who don’t think to themselves, “Now how on earth does my patient, who works at the 7-11, support these kids?” Shouldn’t someone step in at child #3 or #4 when dit’s a single woman with 2-3 child’s fathers? When birth certificates or DNA testing prove that a man has fathered 3-4 children by different women, why can’t we (tax payers) have a say since WE will be supporting this mess?
I know that seems harsh or as if I am recommending a dictator/socialist state (as everyone blames Obama for) but something HAS to be done. He obviously doesn’t have a high standard of living or the motivation to do better. He could care less about hard work and getting a decent job (per the article he has a minimum wage job and some mothers get 1.98 in child support per month)! I would bet my last dollar that his excuse (one of many) for not working harder is, “Man, if I make more money, they will take more money from me.” IGNORANT!
Maybe this man is addicted to sex. If it is an addiction that doesn’t stop him from using protection. I don’t know why but I blame the baby mama’s more than I blame him.

Why didn’t he perform some self gratification everytime he got the urge to ruin another womans life, he would’ve experienced the same feeling and it would’ve been a lot cheaper.

But clearly these women didn’t want or didn’t prefer him to self gratify. Someone said it best, maybe he has an addiction. OR maybe he’s just irresponsible. Either way, a puppy will continue to pee on the floor and not think twice about it if its owners don’t train him to do it outdoors. A “man” will only do what is allowed of him. I PROMISE you if 9 of those 11 (at least) women would have asked ole Desmond to straighten up, fly right, or they would leave him, he would have gotten the picture and done better. It may take a while and a few setbacks but we’re not that hard to ‘train.’
On another note, I wonder which one of the 11 he’ll marry? Or will ole Desmond move to Utah so they can all be happy together?

Exactly why I laugh when people lie to themselves and say racism is dead.
I’m going through a divorce since my wife cheated on me. Was married 22yrs. with four children(all grown thank God). I know this has nothing to do with Des’s situation. But I just don’t have too much sympathy for Des’s woman at this time; cause I can guarantee that out of all of those women, at least one of them was cheating with Des. My wife knew I was a good man but took advantage of my kindness.

It is rather unfortunate that your wife handled you the way that she did. It is sad to say that most of the time, the good guys end up getting the short end of the stick. Take this idiot (Desmond Hatchett) for instance, unless he is forced to have a vasectomy, he will definitely go on to impregnate even more women and ruin even more lives. You on the other hand, sound as if you were a good husband to your wife, yet she chose to cross the fence and go and wallow around with a Desmond Hatchett. Baba, stay strong and take comfort in the fact that God knows your heart as well as he knows all and sees all.

@ Baba, I too sympathize with you as it sounds like you were a good husband. I’m sorry your wife chose to dishonor her marriage vows. In the end though she will be accountable to God for her actions.
As a single woman, I can tell you that many of my married friends have often thought the grass was greener on my side and when they meet the ‘Desmond’s’ or the ‘heteroquestionable’ men who can’t decide if they want to sleep with men or women, they then realize (when it’s too late) that things are not always as they appear.
I pray for your strength as you go through this and pray that God sends the right mate for you at the right time.

Thankyou Divawidfevah and Deelove for your words of encouragement. I never knew what a person goes through(devastation)until it happened to me, it’s like a death in the family. I didn’t have sympathy for the women but I also feel even more angered over people like Desmond because it’s guys like him that tore my marriage apart; and the worst part about it is that they don’t even care or have a clue to the level of damage they caused. The guy that slept with my wife smiled in my face and talked with me and helped me with projects while they had a secret affair behind my back for 2 1/2 to 3yrs. My wife has told me zero about her affair with him and has told me things like I have no proof and wants me to think that she has done nothing while never denying anything and all of the evidence points to but one conclusion; plus if she’s supposed to be my wife, why should I even need any proof for anything? I also have a better understanding of how O.J. could have done what he did. And I ain’t one bit mad at him.
Lynn, grab that herbal tea. When will idiots understand that “the blacks” (using his term) make up 13% of the population and about 8-9% of the voting population? Blacks have ALWAYS voted democratically (95-89%). My point: without “the whites” voting for and supporting Obama, he doesn’t even sniff the White House which makes all of his points invalid.
Although I don’t agree with or even understand most of the garbage that TJake13 wrote, I did find the concept of these “studs” considering their offspring to be trophies very interesting. They do tend to brag about how many children that they have fathered…
Wow, I came across this story and had to leave a comment. Desmond Hatchett is a loser and the judge should sentence him to get a vasectomy and work two jobs to keep him busy to pay for those poor children. The mothers are just plain dumb to even have laid down with that fool.
On the race issue, why did this have to become a race issue? Yes black men go out, make babies, and don’t take care of them but yet again so do other men of different races. I can’t believe that people in this world still call black people “spooks and N’s” Shows how ignorant people are and how their parents must be to have raised them to be that way.
I really just hope that Desmond with get a harsh sentence for his actions. I would not want young men in this world to think they can go around making babies, not support them and not have to take responsibility for what they have done.
