UPDATE: CNN Reports that Representative Stephanie Tubbs-Jones died at 6:12 PM EST this evening.
According to Rep. Tubbs-Jones’ Communications Director, Nicole Williams, Tubbs-Jones suffered an aneurysm while driving her car in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Contrary to rumors that Rep. Tubbs-Jones has passed, Williams reports that at the present time, Rep. Tubbs-Jones’ condition has stabilized and she is receiving the best care available. SOURCE

Rep. Tubbs-Jones was scheduled to travel to Denver to the Democratic National Convention this weekend where she would be attending as a superdelegate. MORE HERE
Prayerfully, Rep. Tubbs-Jones will fully recover and I will be sure to remember her and her family in my prayers.

A few of the channels said she had passed and I believe her colleagues in the Congress were getting ready to issue a statement. She’s in really critical condition and I hope she pulls through with minimal brain damage, but given the statements by her doctor, the prognosis is pretty grim. This is horribly tragic and I was stunned at the turn of events.
I was very saddened to hear this news today.
