Therefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 2 Cor. 6:17
For those of you who have blogs or who are thinking of creating a blog, be careful about who you add to your blogroll. And I’ve learned that just because someone adds you, you are under no obligation to add them. Why do I say this? As a blogger [and I'm speaking to Christians right now], you are responsible for where you send your readers.
I’ll never forget the demon worshipper/prostitute who came to this blog and attempted to get me to put her on my blogroll. She was absolutely insane. Her whole blog was dedicated to her love of prostitution and worship of the ungod. I blocked her. Had she bothered to read my blog, she would have known she would not have lasted 2 seconds here—and she didn’t.
Another woman recently added me to her blogroll and started sending me junk mail. I had been deleting it unread and one day I decided to actually go to her “church’s” website. I sat there and read the doctrine.
As it turns out, her “pastor” teaches that there is a Father and Son but no Holy Ghost. Huh? How can there be a Father and Son but no Holy Ghost? Our power is through the Holy Ghost and He is the One who is active in the earth realm at this time. It’s all in the bible. Yet, the cult that she belongs to teaches that the Holy Ghost does not exist. Instead of wasting my time getting into that, I just deleted her from my blogroll and will never deal with her again.
I don’t have time for cults and I would never knowingly send my readers over to a cultish link site [unless the purpose is to expose the site].
There are times when you need to look at the teachings of the fellow Christians who you link to. If they are teaching a doctrine that is opposed to the Word of God, then they are teaching a doctrine that is evil and that is in complete rebellion to God. The scriptures refer to rebellion as witchcraft.
I’m about to engage in another blog purge. Just ran into a situation today where a woman (whom I actually like) is teaching that homosexuality is not a sin and blah, blah, blah. If she were a regular person who claims no belief, I’d just write it off as an unsaved person who is ignorant to the truth. But this is a person who grew up in the church and who has cracked a bible in her lifetime so she should know better than to buck God.
I’d be terrified to call God a liar. And if God says it’s an “abomination” to His nostrils for a man to lay with another man or woman with another woman, who am I to call God a liar? HE created us, not the other way around.
I have nothing against homosexuals as individuals. But they are in sin just as any other fornicators are in sin. Sexual relations outside of a marriage bond between a man and woman is a sin. We may not like it, but it’s the truth.
If Christians would follow that one law, there would be no out of wedlock pregnancies, no VD and no AIDS. Sin is sin.
Look at TD Jakes. He backed off of teaching sin as sin and his son ended up in a park, allegedly jerking off in front of strange men. Sin cannot be satisfied. And one of his daughters [according to legend] had a baby at age 14 or 15.
Got to be careful about backing off the truth. Folks don’t like the truth but the truth will stand even after this world is long gone.
Come out from among them.
