I don’t believe that anything God touches can foreclose. I don’t believe it. How can the Holy Spirit be evicted when the Word of God says that he owns the cattle on a thousand hills? (Psalm 50:10)
You cannot put a man out of his own house. And God is not one to owe a debt. In fact, He advises us to “owe no many anything”….but love!
With that in mind, do you believe that the Holy Spirit, if He truly is residing over a place, can be evicted? Neither do I!
I remember when Randy and Paula White would appear on TBN. She, in her ultra expensive St. John suits and he, with his perfectly coifed hair. They always looked superficial to me.
We later learned, of course, that it was all a peculiar game. As they sat and discussed what a wonderful marriage they had, obviously divorce was on the horizon, as even their own church members had no idea what was going on behind the scenes.
And then in no time flat, Paula packed up and moved to Texas, supposedly to help another man preach in his church. That man was none other than alleged womanizer, Rick Hawkins. Considering that the scriptures tell us to avoid the very appearance of evil, I’ll go ahead and admit that adultery came to mind when I saw what she did and how quickly after announcing the separation that she packed up and flew the coop. It could all be a coincidence, but it does not look right to me. Sorry, but I call it as I see it.
They tried to sell the church because realistically, who would want to hear Randy preach? At least Paula sparked interest. Their asking price was $30,000,000 back in March. No one took the bait, as the church is now in foreclosure. This is a BAD witness for Christ and the foreclosure leaves me wondering what spirit actually was ruling/lording/hovering over that church:
The future of Without Walls International Church, once one of the fastest-growing congregations in the country, is in jeopardy as the church faces foreclosure of its Tampa and Lakeland properties.
The California-based Evangelical Christian Credit Union holds the church’s mortgage and filed foreclosure proceedings Tuesday. The credit union has also initiated foreclosure proceedings on the church’s North Lakeland branch, Without Walls Central Church.
Court records show the church defaulted on a loan due in August. The credit union is demanding immediate repayment of that loan and the $12 million mortgage on Without Walls’ Grady Avenue property.
Without Walls owes $13 million on its Tampa property and $12.5 million on the church’s Lakeland branch, said the church’s chief financial officer, Norva Carrington.
One thing I can say for his church members is that they were wise enough to get out of there after the deceit was uncovered:
He said in August that when he and his wife split up, 50 percent of the 22,000-member congregation left in the aftermath, but some have begun to return.

I agree that God is not a God of foreclosure and debt. Even his children who don’t live grandiose lives, He meets every single one of their needs.
I’ve seen some things in my own personal life growing up. My mother was a strong believer and a faithful tither. She was a stay at home mom and didn’t work. There were some periods when my father was not working either, but then Hand of God covered our family and we went to private schools, were well dressed, clothed and well fed.
We may not have had some of the ‘extras’ that other kids had like designer outfits and video games, etc., but we were well taken care of.
Just as I think that many of these celebrities are being exposed and losing their wealth and oppulent homes and lifestyles, many of these televangelists are being exposed for the same reasons.
For a while, we became a people who take stock in what the ‘Jones’ have and how to keep up with them. When you focus on those THINGS, you lose focus on God.
Just as Thomas Weeks was evicted from his church, this couple has been evicted from theirs. I’m sure we will see much more of this in the future, as many are ‘perpetrating’ with this prosperity pulpit pimping that they want to call preaching and I believe that this is God’s way of showing them that they need to focus on HIM and not the Bentley and the 15 room mansion, etc.
I truly believe that some people go into the ministry without any experience in areas they need. A local preacher near where I live, purchased a small church on a corner lot. When I heard what he paid for it I could not believe my ears! He ended up losing the church. His name was still on the marquee when another company bought and renovated it. This pastor didn’t go into making such a large purchase with a Trustee who knew finance; a financial person with an accounting background, none of that. He just saw a place he wanted and bought it without regards to the expertise needed to keep it. SMH…
I don’t know too much about Without Walls because I rarely follow televangelists but I did read their marriage was over for quite a long time before Paula left. She stayed for appearance sake and so members could continue to “give.” The Whites should be sued for restitution and fraud.
A local pastor near me has been suspended and his wife left him. Another pastor is preaching until the main pastor comes off of suspension. The Sr. pastor has been there for several years too.
Another pastor I heard about has been married 4 times, has a jet, huge home, you name it and he left his wife for a church member. A lot of his members left too.
SMH…What is happening here? We go to church for solace and the pastors are doing what the sinners are trying to recover from.
I don’t follow televangelists either and I also agree that people go into ministry without the right credentials. But those credentials are not necessarily experience, it is the calling of the Lord. If the Lord has called you, then He will prepare you. If you just, “Go” on your own, who knows what kind of mess you will cook up!
God says, “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Psalms 127:1
**The following comments have nothing to do with the Whites**
I agree that the Lord will sustain that which is His. I think too though that one cannot just look at a foreclosure and say God must not be with them. For His own reasons, God may take us through financial or personal circumstances that He is using to forge us and to witness to others. If we follow the Scriptures, there were times when His prophets were abound and abased. Having lack was not an indicator that God was no longer with them.

Now, as I said above, that previous statement does not relate at all about the Whites. I really know nothing about them, and what is posted in this article makes me very skeptical of whether they were called by the Lord at all.
It is so important that we pray for spiritual discernment to decipher between those who have a heart after God and those who are hirlings in the pulpit.
Sometimes you need to pray for spiritual discernment and sometimes you need only use old fashioned common sense.
Paula White divorced her husband and moved to Texas to “help out” another minister in his “church”. That minister ended up being sued for sexually harrassing the women of the church.
My eyes alone can tell me that there is some rotten fish in that water.
