Christine Beatty To Join Her Former Lover, Kwame Kilpatrick in Jail

After engaging in an illicit affair with married, former Detroit Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick and costing the city $8.4 million by lying about the relationship among other things in a whistle blower lawsuit, Christine Beatty has finally accepted a plea deal.
Beatty, who divorced after the scandal broke, has agreed to serve 120 days in jail, pay $100,000 in restitution to the City of Detroit and serve five years’ probation.

Those tears are authentic. It has finally hit her that she has brought on her own self destruction due to foolishness. She lost her family. Her self respect. Her respect in the community. Probably her ability to become a lawyer. She is about to go to jail.
Those tears definitely are real.
It’s sad that it took her this LONG to realize what she has lost. It didn’t hit her when the scandal first broke. It didn’t seem to hit her when her husband divorced her. It didn’t seem to phase her that even when the whistleblower trial was going on and she was openly called out as Kilpatrick’s mistress. I guess she figured, her jump off was so powerful that he could get them both out the mess.
Sadly, she now has a criminal record & will be serving time because she chose to open her legs up to the village ram.
When she was in open defiance, I had zero compassion for her. Now that the veil has been removed from her eyes and she sees and feels the full impact of her bad choices, I actually do feel bad for her and wish her peace. I also hope she learned from this. You don’t trade in your family for a human dog.
agreed admin, I too want her to begin healing. Good one Diva…village ram (LOL) I’m glad that she accepted the plea deal so that she can began moving forward rather than subjecting herself and her family to more humiliation. I think she, like a lot of women, really believed that he would eventually be her husband. I don’t know that it has hit her yet that the Lord truly does know what’s best for us because had she managed to finagle him into leaving his wife and marrying her, she would be the new Carlita-cheated on, constantly disrespected and humiliated. If he cheated with you, he will cheat on you….just look at this sad and pitiful situation……
