I LOVE this woman. Go, girl! I saw her recently when she came out and said that those who are attacking Obama are doing so because Obama is black and they don’t want a black man in office.

Straight to the point and hard truth. It hurts those who cannot handle it.

Several years ago I—a black conservative, decided to take a controversial political stand. I became a Republican. NOT because I embrace their views but because I was making a statement. I wanted the democrats to know that my vote is not in their pocket. They must earn my vote.

In spite of that, I voted for a democrat, Barack Obama for president. I don’t like how liberal most democrats are. To me, they have no stops. They embrace anything. Abortion. They embrace it (not all but as a whole). Same sex marriage. They embrace it. I wonder what would happen if a person decided to marry their couch or their rabbit? Would they embrace that also?

It is because of their Godless views that I, as a born again Christian, changed my party to Republican. But I did so knowing that I also don’t embrace the racist slant that the Republican party has. I don’t like either party. But I refuse to register as an independent.

I’m thinking seriously about returning to the democratic party. This thing with Rush Limbaugh the oxycontin lover, has pushed me over the edge. And now that weak, pathetic Michael Steele has apologized to him? Why did he apologize? He told the truth.

When I initially started this blog, it was because I had felt an urging in my spirit. It was a need that I could not explain.  Because I follow breaking news and cultural events, my inclination was to center this blog around such general topics.

However, as the weeks have started to pass by and as I have seen what is being blogged about, it has occurred to me that that this will not be a general interest blog. Instead, I am going to focus this blog and give it a specialty.
