I received a tip today about this Janet Landrum character who was arrested TWICE in the same day.  Booked at 1:03 a.m. on 7/19/09 for possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and cannabis.  Arrested again on 7/19/09 at 2:55 p.m. for drunk driving.

HOW MANY PEOPLE will this drunken lush need to kill before she is removed from society?  She is a danger to herself and others.  For the record, she has not yet killed anyone (that law enforcement knows of) but she is endangering lives every time she drives under the influence.

She has been locked up TEN TIMES for drunken driving, folks!  Is Florida insane?

Ellenton resident Janet Landrum, 41, could face a prison term.
Ironically, a passenger riding with 41-year-old Janet Landrum told a deputy that Landrum was driving at 2:20 a.m. Saturday because the passenger, whom Landrum had just met, was too drunk to drive.
Landrum, according to federal traffic records, has been arrested on charges of driving under the influence at least nine other times in several states over the past 20 years.

Prior to Saturday’s arrest, Landrum was picked up for DUI in Kentucky in 1988, in Tennessee in 1988 and 1993, in Georgia in 1999 and 2001, and in Florida in 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005, according to records provided by Manatee sheriff’s spokesman Dave Bristow. Records from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement show another DUI arrest in Florida in October 2002, but that charge was later reduced.

No one was injured or killed in any of the incidents, according to the records. Along the way, Landrum has also been arrested multiple times for driving with a suspended or revoked license, a charge she was also arrested for on Saturday.

Does this redneck CPA have a family?  Can’t they INSIST that she be put away for her own safety.  She was arrested in the company of a STRANGER for goodness sake!

Do you live in California? You might want to consider a move to another state. They have become the “IOU” experts of the world. How they keep getting away with paying folks via IOUs is beyond me. Schwarzenegger has something on his hands. Not sure I understand why he wants that job. It’s not like he’s even taking a salary.

California’s lawmakers failed to agree on a balanced budget by the start of its new fiscal year on Wednesday morning, clearing the way to suspend payments owed to the state’s vendors and local agencies, who instead will get “IOU” notes promising payment.

The notes will mark the first time in 17 years the most populous U.S. state’s government will have to resort to the unusual and dramatic measure.

First time in 17 years….?  They’ve actually done this in the past? Hmmmmm……time to search for jobs in another state and time to get on the first thing smoking OUT of California.

Democrats who control the legislature could not convince Republicans late on Tuesday night to back their plans to tackle a $24.3 billion budget shortfall or a stopgap effort to ward off the IOUs. The two sides agree on the need for spending cuts but are split over whether to raise taxes.

     I really have been having a struggle recently with the attention whores. Let’s take Texas’ pathetic governor—-Rick Perry. You all know that I TOTALLY ignored that tea party whoring that was going on a couple of weeks ago involving the republicans and this country’s racists.

As long as I could I also ignored Rick Perry’s threat to secede from the Union. Let’s pause for a second. Rick Perry and his ilk are sooooooo upset about a black man named Barack Obama being in office and in definite authority over them that they not only are pouting but are now threatening to secede?

For those of you who have had your heads in the sand, believing that racism is a thing of the past, I would strongly urge you to wake up. This “in your face” racism is on par with what Dr. King and others encountered when they were dealing with satan face to face and being spat on and attacked in other ways.  I see no difference in what the present racists are doing vs. what those who put dogs on children did back during the Civil Rights Movement.

People like the Oxycontin loving Rush Limbaugh  [link], boot licking Michael Steele, and this Rick Perry character are all cut from the same cloth. They are appalled at a brilliant black man who breaks all the stereotypes. How sad.

The list of the worst hotels in the U.S. have been released and I’m starting to ITCH! USH!

This is a dag-gone shame! I am about to put several hotels on FULL BLAST!

This comment was made in reference to the Hotel Carter in New York:

STAY AWAY!!!! This place is the worst hotel in the world!

It makes a crack house look like a Hilton.

There are mice roaches,Bed Bugs,and crack heads all living at this Hell Hole!

The hotel itself smells and is filthy from the disgusting bedspread
to the filthy bathroom. Just stay away!!!!

Another hotel that made the list was the TravelLodge of Maine. It appears that the minimum wage employees there have an attitude problem a mile long!

I actually can’t even say what the hotel was like because the service at the front desk was so horrific I walked out .
I arrived at the hotel to check in and stood directly in front of the counter for at least 5 minutes while two staff members were behind the desk doing their best to ignore me (one was on the phone, the other appeared to be sorting something on the desk). When the woman finally looked up at me I remarked that I wondered how long it was going to take one of them to acknowledge the fact that I was standing there. I was met with a blank stare by a very unkempt woman who then replied with ” I don’t work at the desk”. When I asked why she couldn’t just say “hello, someone will be with you in a moment” I got a very attitude filled, upturned lip, “hello”. I turned around to catch my breath, because I couldn’t believe the attutude I was getting. I then heard her talking under her breath at me, probably thinking to herself that I wouldn’t say anything. I turned back to her and stated that I simply thought she should have acknowledged me. She again came back with ” I don’t work behind the desk”. I replied with ” But you do work here, and you are standing behind the desk”. She started mouthing off to me again as was walking out the door.
I have never experienced such a horrible person, who is in the hospitality industry . I don’t care where you work in the hotel, if you are in front of the public you’d better be prepared to act civilized.
I went down the street to the Holiday Inn instead and got great treatment by the staff there. LINK

I’ve heard some sick stories in my life time, but this one is beyond bizarre:

Kalynn Moore’s attorney, Michael Anise, says a nurse cleaned up the baby, dressed him in a hat and blanket and gave the baby to the mom to hold.

After that happened, the story grew even more strange. The baby ended up in the hospital’s trash dump. Some sicko actually took a baby and threw him out like yesterday’s garbage. Unbelievable!

Police are searching garbage dumps in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the body of a baby that was apparently thrown out with the trash at Jersey City’s Christ Hospital.

Investigators are saying a dead baby’s remains were accidently tossed in the trash in New Jersey.

Accident? Picking up a dead baby and tossing him out with the trash is an accident? Sick world, folks.

  Something is clearly in the drinking water here in New York State as this is the 2nd ‘perv’ case involving a supposed “Mand of Gawd,” that I’ve read about in less than 24 hours. 

‘Reverend’ Charles Plock, pictured above, is/was the youth pastor and campus Chaplain at St. John’s University in Queens, New York.   He was apparently known around campus as the “cool priest” who liked to share his Marlboro Lights cigarettes with students. 

Evidently, there was something else that ‘Rev.’ Plock liked to share as well – and that was homemade videos of himself masturbating, which he’d reportedly e-mail to teens he’d met online. 

According to police sources, the ‘Rev’ was caught after he boldly transmitted an obscene Webcam image of himself to someone he thought was a 13-year-old boy.

The 63 year-old ‘Reverened’ however, picked the wrong “teen” to e-mail his homemade masturbation movies, authorities said. The recipient was actually Detective Mark Michieli of the Adams County, Colo., sheriff’s office, who pretended he was a youth in an online sting operation.

Cops traced Plock’s e-mail to St. John’s, the Catholic university in Queens, where he is a chaplain and youth minister.

When NYPD investigators showed up at the cleric’s on-campus apartment in Murray Hall yesterday, Plock argued that he sent his X-rated videos only to consenting adults, a law enforcement source said.

Back up!  So, he figured it was okay for him as a Priest/Reverend to still make these kinds of videos and transmit them from the campus of a Catholic University to people!  (shaking my head)

Cops believe the transmitted video to the undercover officer was filmed in the bathroom of Plock’s campus issued apartment.  

Plock was released on $150,000 bond on the condition he check into St. John Vianney Center, a residential psychiatric facility for the clergy in Downington, Pa.

Fellow priests reportedly raised the required 10% bail of $15,000.  

And here is another kicker… this individual sits on the board for Covenant House, a not-for-profit agency that provides services and housing for runaway teens. 

It is always interesting that these accused pedophiles usually hold key positions in which they have easy access to children; particularly, in environments where there are no parents around. 

One student made this rather profound statement in light of Rev. Plock’s arrest:

“Wait till my mom hears about this. She’s going to think twice about sending me to a Catholic school.” SOURCE

Parents you need to be wary of even these Christian schools and religious institutions, as predators and pedophiles take up residence in these places and eagerly await the opportunity to abuse and defile your children.

As Election Day draws nearer, we are beginning to see the same underhanded tactics by the Republicans that we saw in Florida in 2000 and in 2004 in Ohio.  The state this time is Michigan.

It seems as though key Republican officials are threatening black & lower income homeowners, who are facing foreclosure that if they show up to the polls, they will be turned away and/or face repercussions for attempting to vote in the upcoming Presidential election.  SOURCE

  He is carefully trying to back track now of course now that a lawsuit has been filed, claiming his words were taken out of context.  Yeah right, and I just fell off a turnip truck yesterday and managed not to sustain any injuries.

I’m glad the Obama campaign is at least being proactive and have already filed a class action suit.  Sadly enough many mass media outlets are not reporting on this and people of color and people who are working middle class or working lower class need to know that this is the game that is being played.  SOURCE

More importantly, the people of Michigan need to understand that this is a scare tactic pulled from the well worn hat of Bull Connor and days of segregation, intimidation, blatant racism and terroristic attacks on African Americans, simply for exercising their right to vote.

People, understand that if anyone comes to you with that type of foolishness – that you will lose your home if you vote for Barack Obama, – you need to rebuke it in the name of Jesus and if need be, exercise your Constitutional Right to Bear Arms.

The Republicans have made no qualms about being ‘Ride or Die’ and ‘John Wayne-ing’ their way into the White House.  It’s about high time we stop ALLOWING it to happen. 

If you live in an area that is being targeted by these intimidation tactics, PLEASE organize and go to the polls in groups.  It is more difficult to turn a group of people away than it is an individual. 

If you know of any senior citizens who may have lived through some of those turbulent times in the 50’s and 60’s and actually believe that something will happen to them should they go out and vote, PLEASE take them to the polls and assure them that they have nothing to fear.  

DO NOT let anyone harass you out of your fundamental rights!

As this Presidential campaign trail continues to blaze, I am beginning to see more clearly why ‘rising star,’  Sarah Palin is carefully being shielded from the media and will not give any extemporaneous interviews.

It seems the folks over at Americablog.com, managed to create quite a stir among the GOP with their exposé earlier this week regarding Palin’s policy of charging rape victims for their own forensic kits, while she was Mayor of Wasilla.  SOURCE

Americablog even cites the original newspaper article written on May 23, 2000 in the Frontiersman (Wasilla’s local paper since 1947).  

The article highlights how then Governor Tony Knowles signed legislation protecting victims of sexual assault from being billed for tests to collect evidence of the crime.   ARTICLE

As Palin likes to remind those of us ‘lowly & meaningless community organizers,’  she served two terms as Mayor of Wasilla from 1996 to 2002.  Based on the article that appeared in the Frontiersman, it was under Palin’s mayoral administration that the City of Wasilla, charged rape victims for their own forensic tests.

Moreover, while most Alaskan municipalities picked up the tab for this service, Palin who prides herself on trimming the fat and keeping taxpayer expenses low, apparently didn’t want to “burden” taxpayers with having to support victims of rape. 

What is even more shocking and disturbing about this is that according to the Alaska Family Violence Prevention Project,

   It’s very difficult to squeeze blood out of a turnip. And it’s impossible to take a pitiful, dried up prunish, racist state of bitter, ancient folks who are stuck in their tired ways, and transform them.

I have to give Obama props for getting even one vote outside of Philly and that’s not a joke. In fact, his getting within 10 points in that dried up, rusty state is nothing short of a miracle.

So……glad to see your back, Pennsylvania. Stay stuck in your backwards, gun toting ways, okay? Truth is, Obama does NOT need you. He has this election wrapped up.

  The Pennsylvania Dutch are cute and sweet, but I doubt that they vote. What a shame.

From time to time I have to put certain states on BLAST and anyone following this blog knows full well that I will put my own state (Maryland) on blast without blinking.

We have the most insane law here now. If a man and a woman are engaged in sex and the woman suddenly agrees during the act that she has changed her mind, the man can be charged with rape.

This is criminal in and of itself and sets more men up to be arrested for nothing.
