Charles Rangel steps down
Lynn | March 3, 2010 | 7:34 pm | Politics | 2 Comments

Goodbye, Charlie. Your stepping down has been long overdue. Thanks for your service.

A number of questions have been raised about the 79-year-old Rangel’s conduct. Ethics investigators are looking into his use of his official position to raise money for a New York college center to be named after him and his belated disclosure of at least hundreds of thousands of dollars in assets and his use of rent-controlled apartments in New York.

Tavis Smiley continuing his negative agenda against president Obama
Lynn | March 1, 2010 | 8:28 pm | Personal Responsibility, Politics | 4 Comments

Tavis Smiley is a strange duck.  This is a man who talks black but have you ever seen him with a black woman?

This is a man who went out of his head based on the fact that Barack Obama did not show up for one of his boring, useless black agenda  forums on the state of black America.

Black folks rebelled against him last year as a result of his constant attacks on Barack. As a result, he quit the Tom Joyner morning show but came back again a few days ago to continue his rock throwing against Barack.

It appeared that he was going against Sharpton and others but read between the lines. The true underlying attack was against Barack whom he claims is not doing enough for blacks. I guess Hillary Clinton—whom he supported, would have done more, huh?

How happy I was when he cancelled his ridiculous State of the Black Union this year. But did I rejoice to soon?

Check this nonsense out.  He is again going to have the black agenda meeting, but under another name—and President Obama will again be his target.  This man really should seek counseling, as his fixation on the president is scary.

Now Smiley has dragged Al Sharpton and other blacks of authority into his mess.

Tavis’ comments about Al Sharpton HERE

This is Al Sharpton’s response:

Marion Barry in trouble again
Lynn | February 18, 2010 | 7:54 pm | Politics | No comments

There comes a point at which it’s time to stop partying and being irresponsible…and just “man up”.  Marion Barry is an old coot.  He was caught smoking crack on video.  He is constantly under investigation. He never owns up to anything—-and always claims to have been the victim of a “set up”.  It just never ends with this person.

Check out his latest antics…he’s on the DC City Council, by the way:

An attorney for former DC Mayor Marion Barry  plans to file a formal response by next week to a report that concludes Barry misappropriated thousands of dollars worth of city contracts for friends, associates and his Ward 8 Council staff.

Barry lawyer Fred Cooke told News4 that he expected to raise several questions about the conclusions in the report.

On Tuesday, the Council received the results of a special seven-month investigation accusing Barry of violating conflict-of-interest laws. According to the report from Special Counsel Robert Bennett, Barry benefited from a $15,000 city contract that he obtained for a friend in 2008. The friend is Donna Wtts-Brighthaupt – the same woman who accused Barry of stalking her in Anacostia Park last summer.

Keep in mind that this old goat was blessed to have had a kidney donated to him because his own kidneys mysteriously went up.  Why is he still involved in mess?

Shame on Harry Reid as racist remarks are unearthed
Lynn | January 9, 2010 | 7:22 pm | Politics | 2 Comments

I guess I should stop being surprised at the racial remarks that politicians often make. Check out the latest nonsense, courtesy of Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader:

Journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann reported the remarks in their new book “Game Change,” which is scheduled to be in bookstores Tuesday.

The authors quote Reid as saying privately that Obama, as a black candidate, could be successful thanks, in part, to his “light-skinned” appearance and speaking patterns “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.”

When will this type of ignorance end? I’d like to see this backwards individual disappear from politics. He is unfit and unworthy to represent the American people.

Two thumbs up to Alan Grayson

Glad to know that somebody in the democratic party has some bravery and honesty.

Is it indoctrination to encourage children to admire their president?
Lynn | September 25, 2009 | 8:51 pm | Politics | 2 Comments

Your impression?

I see no problem with it but the crazies are accusing the school of indoctrination (for loving their president).

Rush Limbaugh’s life now surrounds President Obama

It is impossible for a person to carry the type of hatred that this man carries without having high blood pressure and bad health.

Email me when he has his massive heart attack/stroke, as I’d like to be the first to state: “I told ya so…”
