It must be awfully boring in Oklahoma, with very little for the police out there to do for the sheriffs to have the time and inclination to start sex slave rings!

An Oklahoma sheriff resigned after an investigation reveals he was running a sex-slave operation from his jail, police said.

Michael Burgess surrendered to Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents and posted bond Wednesday night, hours after he resigned as Custer County sheriff amid 35 felony charges, including accusations of forcible oral sodomy, kidnapping, rape and perjury. Investigators said at one point Burgess oversaw wet T-shirt contests at the Custer County Jail.

The 35 charges against Burgess include bribery of a public official, indecent exposure, 14 counts of rape in the second degree and rape by instrumentation.

The Texas County district attorney started looking into Burgess in May 2007 when a participant in the Washita-Custer County drug court program told investigators that Burgess made her have sex with him on a threat of sending her to prison. Because of a conflict of interest, Custer County prosecutors handed the case to Texas County authorities.

According to an affidavit signed by District Attorney James Boring, Burgess compelled a Weatherford woman to travel to Oklahoma City and meet him at the Biltmore Hotel for sex in April 2006. The same woman had sex with Burgess under duress at a Clinton truck stop parking lot and at her home.

Once the investigation of Burgess got going, the former sheriff is accused of having another woman go to the alleged victim’s home in Weatherford to remove incriminating evidence against him in exchange for securing her brother’s release from prison.

Other accusations outlined in the affidavit include testimony from a former sheriff’s deputy, who said Burgess groped her between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30, 2005. Burgess also allegedly forced a drug-court probation violator to perform oral sex on him in his county vehicle.

Do parents actually parent their children these days? The eight teenagers above are accused of enforcing a horrible beating on a young lady. Where exactly are their morals and where were their parents?  They don’t appear to have received an ounce of home training and they obviously lack a conscience:

I understand that the victim was having “problems” at home and consequently was living with her grandmother.

Maybe after that whipping, she’ll see that her home life was not nearly as bad as she thought it was. At a minimum, her parents were not beating her down.  Perhaps she’ll get smart, stop disobeying her parents, and take her butt home now.

Lindsay showed up at a friend’s house on Calendar Court, down the street from Schumaker’s, where she had been staying while having problems with her parents. Her friend and another girl started yelling and threatening her. After walking into her room, Lindsay was confronted by another girl, who insulted and threatened her. The girl hit Lindsay in the face several times, then slammed her head into the wall, knocking her out.

Lindsay woke up on a couch surrounded by six girls, who took turns punching and kicking her. She tried to leave several times, but the girls held her down and blocked her from leaving.

The girls drove the victim to another house and let her get out of the car, but with the warning: “If you go to the police, the next beating will be worse.”

Deputies recovered the video, which shows the beating and the teens blocking Lindsay’s attempts to escape.

Now the crew of alleged thugs are in a heap of trouble:

A judge set bail Friday for each at $30,000 during their first appearance.

The Polk County state attorney’s office says seven of the teens will be tried as adults. The youngest of them is 14. The eighth person is 18-years-old and considered an adult by state law.

They face kidnapping and misdemeanor battery charges. Three also face a felony charge of witness tampering.

Being charged as an adult carries with it much stiffer penalties, possibly including up to life in prison on the kidnapping charges. Facing charges of battery, false imprisonment and kidnapping are Mercades Nichols, 17, Brittini Hardcastle, 17, April Cooper, 14, Cara Murphy, 16, Britney Mayes, 17, Kayla Hassell, 15, Zachary Ashley, 17, and Stephen Schumaker, 18. The two boys are accused of acting as lookouts outside the house in which the beating took place on March 30.

I’ve been trying to avoid this entire Britney Spears situation because to be honest with you, I find her totally void of any talent and even if she were talented, I would not listen to that junk that she sings. Another reason I have avoided discussing her here is because I doubt that many of my reading audience would be interested in reading about Britney and my goal here is to write the types of articles I believe the majority of my readers enjoy.

Having said all that, I will simply approach this article from a different direction. Ms. Spears is a human being beyond everything else. Contrary to all the media attention of the press calling her all types of names and hounding her at her home 24/7, I feel for her at a human level. Putting myself in her place, I cannot imagine not being allowed to exit my home without worrying about photographers looking for a negative move so they can take a negative picture. Remember, they are not there to take positive pictures of her or her family. They are there to hurt her. Just on a human level, she does not deserve that. It’s not like she’s some type of pedophile. She is a very troubled young woman, possibly drug involved, who is on a dire pathway—and apparently unwilling to seek or accept help.

In the midst of her situation, she has even more wolves descending upon her. Can you imagine waking up in a hospital room, only to see Dr. Phil of all people showing up as your “savior”, uninvited? Her parents reportedly asked him to stop by—or maybe he contacted the parents to offer his help. But in any event, Britney did not request him. He was thrust upon her.

Now, to show you where Dr. Phil’s heart truly is, the first thing he did after leaving the hospital was to jump in front of the cameras like the attention whore that he is, to tell the media the obvious—that Britney needs help. Duh! And how exactly is it helpful to her to have him betray a confidence by visiting with her, then running to the nearest t.v. camera?

I understand that she has moved directly into a lion’s den as she tries to escape the media. She and a camera man have run off together to “hide”. Problem is, the camera man is married and reportedly has already tried to shop around, in an effort to sell pictures that he has of her to the highest bidder.

Again, she is a human being who has not killed or maimed anyone. I sincerely believe she is in need of role models and counseling. She also obviously needs a diagnosis and meds so that she will stop self-medicating.

What she does NOT need is for wolves to surround her, yet she is being surrounding by wolves and roving lions from every end.

Britney Spears was last night in hiding with British photographer Adnan Ghalib - who she said is the only person she trusts - despite the fact that reports have emerged he has been trying to broker a million-dollar deal for exclusive photos of Britney in her secret hideaway.

The troubled star is holed up in Hollywood with Ghalib, 35, the son of a Birmingham newsagent, just days after going berserk at her home, and refusing to hand over her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James to father Kevin Federline in a four-hour stand-off with police.

The mother of two, who ripped an IV from her arm and refused further treatment at the weekend, has told loved ones that married Ghalib, 35, and his fellow photographers are the only people she trusts now.

But reports are coming out of America that Ghalib, whose Brummie father used to run a clothing business, has been trying to broker a million-dollar deal for exclusive photos of Britney in her secret hideaway.

The first thing she did was go on a boozy breakfast bender in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Britney is being comforted by photographer Adnan Ghalib, who she claims is her only true friend. But he’s not exactly leading her down the right path.

Ghalib took the superstar for breakfast at the Daily Grill on El Paseo, near Palm Springs, on Sunday morning - hours after she was released from LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical centre after a tantrum.

Meanwhile famous TV shrink Dr Phil has said Spears needs specialist medical help amid fears she has manic depression. Dr Phil McGraw spent some time with the singer before she left hospital and he claims: “My meeting left me convinced more than ever that she’s in dire need of medical and psychological intervention.”

Manic depression may in part be caused by genetic factors. Britney’s paternal grandmother killed herself at the age of 31 after having depression for years.

Some “lawyer” sent a threatening letter to the owner of the blog, The-Biz. I just saw her blog for the first time on yesterday and it is a good one for keeping up with celebrities if that is your interest.

I learned something interesting while looking at her blog. It seems that basketball player, Antoine Walker (whom I’d never heard of before, prior to reading The-Biz blog), has an “interesting” past. First of all, he’s been robbed twice. Unless someone lives in the heart of the ghetto, what is the probability of being robbed twice? It’s like lightening striking the same person twice. That’s unusual, especially for a man who has money and does not live in areas where that type of thing is rampant.

Secondly, Lashonda reported that Antoine hangs around with questionable people. For example, I have reported on the accused murderer, Reginald Potts  several times on this blog. Well, according the The-Biz blog, Reginald is a close friend of Antoine Walker’s and attends all of his basketball games.

Of course it’s not against the law for a millionaire professional basketball player to be good friends with a man (Reginald Potts) who, by all accounts, has no steady employment to speak of, yet reportedly rides a Bentley, dresses expensively and has had several restraining orders taken out against him—not to mention the fact that he has attacked an officer in the past and on and on and on… Check this out:

Antoine has been rolling with some more “bad” people. One person in particular, his “best friend” Reginald Potts. Reginald, who attended all of Antoine’s Chicagoland All-Star Classic weekend events this year and was spotted driving around in a white Bentley (wearing a white linen suit/white knit cap to nightclub Excalibur on August 12th 2007) is currently being held on first-degree murder charges in the death of 28-year-old Nailah Franklin! sourceHmmmm…….

Antoine’s lawyer sent Lashonda a letter, trying to shut her up. I can tell you ahead of time that as a U.S. citizen with free speech, Lashonda has nothing to worry about because she has not slandered or libeled anyone. She is reporting facts. Because he cannot get her on her words, he is trying to threaten her regarding the fact that she has used some of Antoine’s pictures. In 2 Timothy 3:13-14 the scriptures warn us that, But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowlng from whom you have learned them.

A gunman killed two staff members at a missionary training center early Sunday after being told he couldn’t spend the night, and about 12 hours later four people were shot at a busy megachurch in Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs police Lt. Fletcher Howard said a suspect had been detained in the shootings at the New Life Church, but a church member who was locked down at the church Sunday afternoon said a security guard had shot and killed the gunman. Authorities in Arvada, a Denver suburb about 65 miles north, said no one had been captured in the shootings there.

It was not immediately known whether the shootings were related, but Arvada authorities said they were sharing information with Colorado Springs investigators. The governor ordered state authorities to help.

The program that runs mission training in Arvada has a small office at the New Life Church’s World Prayer Center.

A gunman in a black trench coat and a high-powered rifle entered the church’s main foyer about 1 p.m. and began shooting, according to the church member, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the police department had asked that it release all information.

The church’s 11 a.m. service had recently ended, and hundreds of people were milling about when the gunman opened fire. Nearby were parents picking up their children from the nursery.

The gunman was killed by a member of the church’s armed security staff, the source said. Four people were shot, and the source did not know whether the shooter was one of the four. A SWAT team was searching the building for an explosive device, but the source could not confirm any details.

Like a roach, satan has grown more bold as he walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Get in the Word, everyone. Find a church, a GOOD church where Jesus Christ is the center and the star. HINT:  If you attend a church that uplifts fairy tales such as “Santa”, RUN. Get up out of there. If you find a church that celebrates Halloween, RUN!

Read and study the bible for yourself. Don’t allow false doctrines and twisted scriptures to enter your spirit or your mind. We are in the Last Days, everybody!

Before I write another word, I have a question to ask you. Would you send any child, regardless of whether or not it’s your own child, into a home to be cared for by any of the three characters above? Look at them. They look like poor trash.

Well believe it or not, there are people who actually felt comfortable dropping their children off to those hard looking creeps and sure enough, they have been arrested on drug dealing charges.

Parents, PLEASE start judging books by their covers, okay?

The parents who actually dropped their children off with those creeps should lose their custody rights, posthaste!

Three people are under arrest after a police raid at a daycare in Silverton turned up numerous bags of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $1,000 in cash.

According to police, the owners of the unlicensed, home-based business were actually dealing marijuana and neighbors we talked to agreed it would be the perfect cover for a drug operation.

“There was a lot of traffic, but people thought it was just because of the daycare,” one neighbor said.

“I had no idea that’s what was going on at all,” another neighbor said. “That’s scary to know.”

The owners of the daycare, 52-year-old William Hodson and his wife, 55-year-old Rose Cardiff, were both arrested on drug and child endangerment charges. Three grandchildren, who lived at the home, were taken into state protective custody.

Another man, 32-year-old James Franck, was arrested on drug charges as well. He had been staying at the home.

Someone named “Caitlin17″ sent me the following note. The insinuation is that she is the daughter of child molester, Jaime Francisco Calacan, Jr and grandaughter of Jaime Francisco Calacan, Sr, another convicted sexual predator.

How the heck did you get my grandfathers record? It’s suppose to be closed.

My dad is a jerk and he needs to be sent down to where he can never touch anyone again.  But it’s the system that keeps sending him back out into the public.
It’s disgusting to what he did in the past and just recent but, again if they would just stop sending him home he wouldn’t have the oppurtunity to harm anyone.

Okay, Caitlin17, first of all you asked how I got my sticky little fingers on your grandpappy’s criminal record. Well, a good reporter never reveals her sources (unless it’s a newspaper source), does she? But, may I ask why you are trying to defend your grandpappy? He has admitted to raping a woman and ironically it was during the same year his son, your father, was out raping children.

I’d be happy to interview you if you can provide me proof that you are related to those two rapists. I’d love to know what life was like growing up in that household.

He needs to be in jail but, they let him out.
And sticking his address out on the web is one of the stupidest things someone has ever done. I know he doesn’t deserve anything, his rights should be taken away thrown out the window but, what about the grandmother who lives there? She has been harrassed and all kinds of things, she is in her late 70’s and there should be no reason for that. If you people want to jump on him call Fairfax Co and ask for his address, say you are his kin and would like to write to him. and then write to him and tell him off. Don’t leave you address but, make him feel like shit. Cause this isn’t his 1st 2nd or 3rd time touching a child. and he thinks he is being wronged. he says his GOD will protect him. So go for it and let me know if you do.
BtW I am his daughter and he did the same to me 17 years ago.
Oh and one more thing. Why didn’t the cops stop him from moving there, he was within 200 feet of the school bus, 3 miles from 3 schools.
And why didn’t they make him register, I know it’s his fault but they should have looked into that. He did what he did in 90 and they let him out. source

Looks like Caitlin might be legit because I cannot imagine any sane person claiming to be related to those two sickos if it were not true. She claims her father raped her when she was a child. I wonder where the grandparents or where her mother was when that was going on?

The shocking incident happened when she left a JCPenney store in Independence, Missouri, with her two young children in the back seat. Cops pulled her over on busy interstate-70 because store security said her vehicle matched the description of a car wanted in a stolen auto ring.On the video, Hayes tries to tell the officer that she is pregnant, but is still ordered to lie flat on her stomach.  source

Update on Jena, Louisiana

I’m listening to the Al Sharpton show. He indicated that no bond nor bail has been set for Mychal Bell.

This has been confirmed by national news reports:

Bail was denied Friday for a black teenager whose arrest in the beating of a white classmate led to this week’s huge civil rights demonstration in the central Louisiana town of Jena.

The bond hearing for Mychal Bell, one of the group known as the “Jena Six,” was held this afternoon in a juvenile court in Jena.

Lawyers would not comment because juvenile court proceedings are secret. But John Jenkins, the father of one of Bell’s co-defendants, said Bell’s bail request was denied. source

A request had been made to take the judge off the case but that request also was denied. It’s obvious that there is a tremendous amount of anger regarding the fact that tens of thousands descended upon Jena. How dare the uppity “colored” folks tell the whites what to do!

Sharpton said that his next step is Washington, DC to get the Congress involved.
