My patience had deteriorated to zero. Seriously. And you know why? In the almost 2 years that I have produced this blog I’ve come to realize that I owe no one anything. Nothing.

I don’t owe….

……anyone the “right” to sign this blog

……anyone the “right” to get on my nerves

……anyone the “right” to make snide remarks to me

……anyone the “right” to occupy space here

In short, I don’t owe anyone reading this blog anything. Period.

And I also don’t owe any explanations. This blog is “my house” and visitors are my guests. My patience is dwindled down to ZIP….ZERO….NADA…..NOTHING…..GONE

I have a core group whom I CHOOSE to be bothered with on this blog. They sometimes agree, disagree, argue, fuss, fight….and all in Christian love. As others come in, I accept them as long as their spirit is right. The bible says that you try the spirit by the spirit.

And YES, I do accept unsaved people here. As long as they don’t try to convince Christians to reject Jesus, they are fine with me.  There are some unsaved people who, at a minimum, have a heart that is right. And there are some saved folks whose hearts are not right.  I’ll take an unsaved person with a kind heart over a saved person with questionable motives any day.

On the other hand, I have a group whom I veiw as “flies”. They simply annoy me. They annoy me when they agree with me. They annoy me even more when they disagree with me. They annoy me on every level and my spirit rejects them. I want them OUT of Hicktown quick and in a hurry—before I throw them in Hicktown jail.  I’m just not the phony type to have someone smiling in my face when I know they can’t stand me.  I want them out of my life.

Such is the case with someone who slipped up in here a few days ago making some annoying remarks on an 18 month old thread that I subsequently closed. I was kind enough to warn her that she was in danger of being banned. Why should I tolerate a fly in my own house? Flies are disgusting. They land on your food and ruin it. They buzz around your head. They have to go.

Now I warned that woman.  If she were smart, she would have regrouped, dropped the subject and then made an attempt to join the group on some level. Instead she returned on another thread continuing the OLD topic I had warned her that I was through with. So you know what? I banned her. Problem solved. Next!

Warning to lurkers. Come on in here. Associate with Hicktowners. Don’t be skerred.

But if you come in here with a spirit that’s not right, I’ll discern it and ban your right out of here.  Simple as that.

You know what? I have been bending over backwards lately, trying to be nice and sociable and hospitable.

Close to 400 people are now signed up here (though very few sign); however, more and more are actually joining in on the conversations. That’s a good thing. But there are some cult members sliding up in here.

I get a lot of nasty emails from people accusing me of not tolerating people who don’t agree with me. Yeah, right. Whatever! Have you checked out Deputy Diva, DeeLove and Deputy Monica (we have two Monica’s on board but I am referencing Deputy Monica who is mostly in the background). They publicly disagree with me all the time! So folks can cut that lie out!

So I’ve been trying haaaaaard to relax and ignore a lot. However, if you allow one rodent to sneak in, they will reproduce and then you’ll have a house full of nasty mice to deal with.

Best solution for a mouse is a cat. And the best solution for trouble makers is JAIL.   And that’s spelled J.A.I.L.

I have been FORCED to officially re-open Hicktown Jail. Too many trouble makers have been slipping in here lately. Many of them are Jakes’ cultish followers.

This is a warning to Jakes’ followers. You can roll up in here talking crazy and making threats and cursings if you want to. The jail is open!

“Louise”, who came in here trying to put a curse on the readers here is in jail.

   If anyone cares to spring her out, bail is set at a $1 Million Dollars.  And sorry, but I won’t be taking 10%.   I need the full million.

A woman claiming to be the aunt of Samaj Booker made the error of coming into HickTown threatening the residents here with hell and a bunch of other stuff.  Homegirl got all “ghetto fabulous” on us!

As most HickTowners recall, Samaj has a long history of issues, stemming from running away from home to lying his way onto airplanes. He recently was arrested for allegedly breaking into a home.

Well, his “auntie” rolled through here last night acting ghetto fabulous. And as Hicktowners know, we don’t “do” ghetto up in here. Acting ghetto fabulous and making threats in Hicktown will land you ONE place—in Hicktown jail.

Have fun, “Auntie”. Samaj should sleep a little easier tonight knowing that his auntie is carefully tucked away, just as he is!

  GO HERE for her post, and if you care to spring her out, I’ve set bail at $100,000.  Had to set it high to teach her the lesson that you don’t EVER attempt to do God’s job by saying who is going to hell—-especially when the people are speaking the truth.

  I have bent over backwards to ignore what I suspected was a troll but was not certain.

One thing that I want to be cautious of is that I not ban folks based on the fact that they have differing viewpoints and it’s for that reason that I have ignored “Apache”, a person whom I suspected of being a troll but was not sure. So I’ve been watching him.

Because it’s a known fact that the best way to deal with a troll is to ignore him, I tried that tactic, as did many other HickTowners. I tried to reason with him, to no avail.

I never want to be accused of jailing folks who roll through Hicktown with a different point of view.  In fact, I purposely chose Diva and Monica as my Deputies because they often differ with me, particularly on politics. Diva supports Clinton. Monica is not voting for either of them. I’m behind Obama. Trust me, I purposely chose them. That way, no one can say I chose clones.

I’ve been ill lately. My two deputies have been running HickTown. And Deputy Diva has been writing and posting news (Thanks, DIVA!) Monica is in college so she is too busy right now to post but she has my back.

Deputy Diva recently (on her own) stepped to the troll, Apache and gave him a warning. He responded by making some offensive insults against me, and for what?

 I knew something was odd about him when I announced I had just had surgery and he was the only one who said nothing. He just kept talking and insulting folks, which to me is offensive. It was like stepping on a person who is laying in the street, hurt.

BANNED! I am too busy to deal with a troll. Take it elsewhere.

If you want to visit Apache, you’ll find him in HickTown JAIL.  His bail is $500,000 if anyone cares to spring for him.

Hey HickTowners, do you remember Richard?

 That’s the vomit-mouthed, Thomas Weeks obsessed grown man who stalks and harrasses Hicktown to whine about us exposing Weeks.  In fact he is the FIRST one to end up in HickTown Jail.

Well apparently someone sprung him out, finally. And where does that bum end up?  Back in Hicktown!  Here is his note to me, which I deleted from the Marion Jones thread:

Dude, won’t you do yourself and HickTown a favor. First of all, stop riding Thomas Weeks’ jock for one. Your boy was witnessed giving Juanita a beat down. And I hope he serves HARD time in prison for that.

Secondly, if HickTown is so repulsive to you, why do you keep hanging around here, peeking in from alleys, hiding under trashcans and generally making a public nuisance and spectacle of yourself?

I can think of 2 or 3 blogs that I despise. You know what I do?  I stay AWAY from those blogs. You cannot force blog owners to take on your views and why bother?

Now you are making a fool of yourself. Move on.

Is this REALLY only Wednesday night? It feels like Friday!

Um…guess what, HickTowners. Our small jail has suffered its first escape!

I had put a new town resident into HickTown jail for reasons outline HERE.

To my surprise, he or she slipped out and put on a disguise. I caught him/her using the alias, “Truthfulness”. Check HERE for details. It’s under #18.

Not to worry.   S/he is back in jail and our streets are safe again.

Hey Jhazzai, at first I said that you may seek re-admittance to HickTown in one month: That is, December 7th, 2007.  But since you escaped, directly refusing to obey the laws here, I have pushed that date up to January, 31, 2008.

Oh, and your bail has been raised from $15,000 to $100,000 since you are obviously an escape risk.

    Well whippity woo wang wee!  There is nothing like excitement in a small town!

Well HickTowners, gather around cause there has been a second arrest in HickTown.  You all know that I had to lock poor Richard up last month. You all are so mean, not one of you put up the $10,000 required to spring poor Richard out of jail, so he still sits there!  Well, now it’s Jhazzai who’s been locked up.

I have to give Jhazzai credit for having a great degree of nerve and balls. I’m not sure whether Jhazzai was a male or female but s/he had a lot of balls either way.

Anyone visiting HickTown knows that the town Sheriff has a short fuse when it comes to disrespect. My dear Jhazzai rode into town on a high horse, and quickly proceeded to disregard all the town laws. Cursing here, slandering there. He or she apologized when I called him/her on it.

But this is where things went terribly wrong. Instead of Jhazzai just moving forward, Jhazzai broke a rule that was worth being “jailed for”. I had specifically removed ALL references to the name of the minister whom Jhazzai had slandered. I had explained in plain English that unless PROOF was offered that the minister had threatened to “murder” someone and that he had “stalked” someone, that his name would not be printed here in HickTown. Simple enough, right?

Apparently not simple enough for my dear Jhazzai. Jhazzai informed me that s/he did not have to provide any proof and then s/he proceeded to put the minister’s name back up.

I know that when HickTowners saw that, they chuckled to themselves and thought….”Wait until Sheriff Lynn shows up”. LOL!

Jhazzai’s bail is set at $15,000. Anybody willing to spring him/her out?

Poor Richard.  He stumbled into HickTown with a little attitude  that I initially ignored with a hearty “Welcome”.  He was calling folks demons and though I’m sure I was one of the “demons” he was referencing, I thought if I welcomed him with kindness, he would chill.  But, naw. Not Richard.

Then he told me off, making crazy accusations against me.  Can you imagine going to someone’s “home” where the person pays the mortgage and insulting the person in his/her own home and property?

 I issued dear Richard a “ticket” and a verbal warning. But no, my dear Richard was on a rampage and the “sheriff” was his target.

 So I had to throw Richard in jail, which is where he now sits. He’s unable to access HickTown anymore.

 Anybody want to step forward to pay his $10,000 bail? 

AJ?  Cop?  Redman?  Bria? 

 Any HickTowner want to spring poor Richard out?

Sorry Richard, unless someone pays to spring you out, you are stuck, dude. Hopefully you will learn a valuable lesson while sitting in there.

Every town has its misfits, drunks, druggies, trouble makers, wise guys, etc.

HickTown is no different. The difference, however, is that I have very little patience with them. Therefore, I’ve created a new category called “HickTown’s Jail and Prison”.
