Alleged child molester and cult leader, Michael Travesser announced that he is God. Interesting. I’ve never known God to rape children, as has been alleged about Travesser. Have you? Before you look at the video, however. I have some questions to ponder:

a. Why and how on earth would anyone think that a flesh and blood human who would die if stabbed or shot in the heart (like everyone else) is God.

b. Why do people follow just anything? Wouldn’t you rather take your chances on Jesus? At least Jesus is not subjecting you and your children to v.d. and other filthy diseases. Yuck.

Michael Travesser says being a cult leader requires great sacrifice. In his case, that includes bedding his son’s wife, getting naked with teenage girls and pocketing his followers’ worldly possessions.

So how does a guy with two failed marriages, a bad childhood and the look of an underfed bridge-dweller pull this off? You can find out by watching “ Inside a Cult ,” a fascinating National Geographic program that airs May 7 at 10 p.m. New York time.

Travesser, 66, allowed a crew to spend seven months filming what he promised was a run-up to Judgment Day, which he had penciled in for Oct. 31, 2007. While the world didn’t end as scheduled, we do hear startling admissions from some of the 56 Strong City cult members, including Travesser’s son Jeff, a former San Francisco cop.

  “Church” is founded on marijuana smoking

It’s really interesting how trouble makers and criminals and drug addicts run to the church to hide under Her skirts as they sin and commit crimes. Check this out:

Church of the Universe founders Walter Tucker and Michael Baldasaro are battling the Department of Justice, which wants the pair jailed for two years and their assembly’s east Hamilton headquarters confiscated.

Tucker, 75, and fellow minister Baldasaro, 58, were convicted by a jury on Nov. 28 on five counts of trafficking in marijuana, which church members have used as a sacrament for the past 30 years.

The charges were laid after a Hamilton police officer, posing as a woman from Winnipeg who was new to town and down on her luck, visited their Barton Street East church in May 2003.

Tucker was convicted of three counts of trafficking in marijuana, the total quantity amounting to a few grams worth about $40. Baldasaro was found guilty on two counts involving 2.5 grams, or about $30 worth of pot.

Federal prosecutor Lou Strezos is seeking to have the property, worth about $98,000, forfeited to the Crown under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

At his sentencing hearing yesterday, Baldasaro argued the property belonged the Assembly of the Church of the Universe and not to him or Tucker. He said police and prosecutors have claimed the church was a sham and its sacrament an excuse to smoke pot, but have never called an expert witness to dispute the church’s legitimacy.

These types of people have sin as their god and do their dirty deeds in the name of “religion”.

    I truly hope that it’s not true that a black woman is the one who called the police pretending to be a young teenager being abused by the Warren Jeffs cult. Yet, that is what it appears to be, ya’ll. I’m upset because black women cannot afford to be stuck in the middle of this mess. Texas Rangers participated in the arrest of a Colorado woman who allegedly pretended to be a girl locked in a basement. The Rangers were in the state as part of their investigation into the Texas polygamy custody battle, local police told ABC News.

It was unclear if the arrest was related to the phone call from a woman who claimed to be a 16-year-old girl, a phone call that sparked what has become one of the largest child custody cases in U.S. history.

Officials in Texas raided a polygamist compound and took 416 children into custody after an abuse hotline received a series of phone calls from the purported teen who said she was being held at the compound. The girl, who called herself Sarah, said she was being physically and sexually abused by her adult husband, court documents say.

Texas child protection lawyers have said they believe the girl does exist, even though they have not found her.

But ABC News has learned that Texas Rangers flew to Colorado Springs, Colo., and participated in the arrest of a 33-year-old woman who was charged with filing a false report.

The FBI also told ABC News it is assisting local police in the investigation. Colorado Springs police said in a statement that “The Texas Rangers were in Colorado Springs Wednesday as part of their investigation involving the compound in Texas.”

Colorado Springs police said they arrested Rozita Swinton last night on local charges of pretending to be a girl locked in a basement, claiming abuse and calling authorities for help.

Local police said Swinton had been under investigation for some time on that accusation, but police made an immediate arrest after the Texas Rangers became involved.

“This arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred in Colorado Springs in February of this year,” Colorado Springs Police said in a statement. “The Texas Rangers were in Colorado Springs yesterday as part of their investigation involving the compound in Texas. They left and have not filed any charges on Rozita Swinton as of this time. ”

ABC News was unable to reach Swinton or her lawyer for comment.

In case you have been wondering how the pedophile cult of “prairie women” and dirty old men have been surviving out there while forcing young girls to marry 50 year old men, look no further than to your own government!

Not only are many of these families sucking up welfare checks and public assistance at our expense, but many have earned defense contracts:

The U.S. government paid more than $1.7 million in defense contracts over the last decade to companies owned by leaders of Warren Jeffs’ polygamous sect, with tens of thousands allegedly winding its way back to Jeffs and his church.

The Pentagon had contracts with three companies with ties to Warren Jeffs’ polygamous sect.

In fact, some of the deals were made after Jeffs was named to the FBI’s “Most-Wanted List” and remained in place while he was on the run.

CNN has learned that between 1998 and 2007, the United States Air Force and Defense Logistics Agency purchased more than $1.7 million worth of airplane parts from three companies owned by members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which practices polygamy.

Those companies are Utah Tool and Die, Western Precision and NewEra Manufacturing. Today, the companies all operate under the name NewEra Manufacturing, a company based in Las Vegas, Nevada, that says it supplies precision components “for the aerospace, military, medical, recreational and other commercial entities.”

“It was my understanding that Western Precision was paying roughly $50,000 a week into the coffers of the church,” former sect member Richard Holm said. “It would have been close to $200,000 a month.”

Holm said he helped build Western Precision.

A court affidavit signed by a man whose father was the president of Western Precision makes similar allegations.

Polygamy Hearing CNN’s Anderson Cooper follows all the latest details from Texas10 p.m. ET “During 2003, the amount being sent to the storehouse and the FLDS was around $100,000 per month,” John Nielsen said in the October 26, 2005, affidavit. “I have personal knowledge that checks sent to the FLDS Church/Warren Jeffs by [Western Precision] are payable to the FLDS Church and/or Warren Jeffs.”

Private investigator Sam Brower, who monitors the sect, said money earned through business dealings with the U.S. government was used to build Jeffs’ compounds across the country, including the one recently raided in Eldorado, Texas.

More than 400 children, including teenage girls, were removed from that ranch amid claims of child abuse and forced marriage and motherhood.Brower says dozens of companies tied to FLDS are working on contracts with federal or local governments. The Pentagon would confirm only it had contracts with three.

You know what? When I was a child, I was allowed to enjoy my childhood. I remember summers of fun barbecues, candy apples and swimming. I remember growing up in Baltimore and having the luxury of building upon community—playing hopscotch in the back alley with friends and riding my bicycle. 

My heart aches for any child who has to endure the trauma of abuse, be it sexual or otherwise. The children taken from the Texas cult have been to hell and back:

A child protection supervisor on Thursday testified she encountered several pregnant teen girls at a polygamist ranch who called each other “sister wives” and who believed it was acceptable to be “spiritually united” with a man at any age.

FLDS leader Warren Jeffs is serving time in Utah after his 2007 conviction for being an accomplice to rape — charges related to a marriage he performed in 2001. Jeffs also faces trial in Arizona on eight charges of sexual conduct with a minor, incest and conspiracy.

The mainstream Mormon church, which gave up plural marriage more than a century ago, has no ties to Jeffs’ group.

Now a group of children have been rescued from his cult:

Authorities said Monday they have taken legal custody of 401 children who lived on an isolated West Texas polygamist retreat built by imprisoned “prophet” Warren Jeffs.

Authorities load members of the FLDS onto buses as they search their Texas ranch for clues of abuse.

The children are being kept at a temporary shelter at historic Fort Concho in nearby San Angelo while authorities investigate whether a child bride gave birth on the ranch at age 15.

The children in state custody are joined at the shelter by 133 women, most of them mothers, who were taken during the past few days from the sprawling Yearning for Zion ranch, said Marleigh Meisner, a spokeswoman for the state’s Child Protective Services agency.

The women are free to return to the 1,900-acre compound, officials said, but many have chosen to remain. At this point, officials said, the children’s fathers are not permitted to see them.

Court proceedings began Monday to determine whether there is enough evidence to remove the children from their homes on the ranch, which is near Eldorado, Meisner said. A hearing is scheduled April 17.

The children will be appointed lawyers and legal guardians in about two weeks, she added.

Meisner said the temporary shelter is filling up quickly, and officials are facing a “critical shortage” of foster homes. Officials will try to keep siblings together, she added.

How it is that Oprah Winfrey, a black woman who grew up in a southern town and who attended a black church, ended up in the occult following wickedness and the New Age Movement—and pushing that garbage off on a huge audience is beyond me.

Oprah is a billionaire whose soul is lost at this present time.

She grew up hearing about Jesus. She knows Him. Yet, she not only has rejected Him but she is using her vast wealth and public air waves to push her sick beliefs off on people.  I just received a hat tip from Eric (be sure to visit his blog).   He did his own write up on Oprah, but I had to do my part too.

A pastor who impregnated a woman he terrorized into a sexual relationship by threatening curses was sentenced yesterday to four years in prison.

Justice Edward Belobaba said Rev. Frank Seeko Lawrence “grossly abused his position of trust as her pastor” and threatened her with evil spirits if she didn’t acquiesce to his sexual advances.

“He intentionally had unprotected sex with her because as he said to her, ‘My seed cannot be wasted.’ The judge sentenced Lawrence for sexual acts ranging from fondling to five to 10 incidents of intercourse.

The woman, now 29, gave birth to Lawrence’s daughter in August 2004. The victim filed for support in Family Court and, in September 2005 after receiving a “threatening phone call from Lawrence,” phoned police, said Belobaba.

Court documents revealed Lawrence fathered and financially supported 11 children by six women — two by his wife and nine by five other women — paying $1,400 a month total out of his $19,600 monthly salary in 2005.

For several years, Belobaba said, Lawrence treated the victim as a physically ill teenager with “spiritual baths” to cast out evil spirits.
