Paula And Randy White Encourages the Sheep to Take Equity Out of Homes on Behalf of Them and Church

March 13, 2008

Does God want you to tithe your entire paycheck to churches and pastors? According to Paula and Randy White, God even wants you to take equity out of your home to pay to churches.

Check out this video. It will show you how the Church Without Walls (now for sale)misused people’s money and although the church was bringing in millions, the church was never financially healthy. Paula and Randy are believed to have pocketed much of that money.

I believe the reason the church is now for sale is because the church is actually cursed. Any entity that abuses the name of the Lord for financial gain while fleecing God’s flock has no choice but to be cursed.

Creflo Dollar and Eddie Long May be FORCED to Turn Over Church Information

March 12, 2008

It’s sad that Eddie Long and Creflo Dollar are refusing to follow the scriptures which tell us clearly to obey the laws of the land, as long as they don’t cause us to sin.

There is nothing sinful about turning over monetary records. Yet, the Senate are going to have to FORCE those two turn over the information.

Paula & Randy White’s Church Without Walls For Sale

March 05, 2008

HickTowners, you are NOT going to believe this mess. HickTowner, Covina sent me the following article which states that Randy White is selling Without Walls International Church:

TAMPA Without Walls International Church, which faces a U.S. senator’s scrutiny for possible abuse of its tax-exempt status, has put its Tampa sanctuary up for sale.

CNL Specialty Real Estate Services and Cushman & Wakefield of Florida were hired to sell the 13.3-acre campus, near International Plaza and Raymond James Stadium, in the burgeoning West Shore business district.

The asking price is $30 million, said Matthew Messier, a principal with CNL who specializes in selling church property. Along with the 4,500-seat sanctuary, the campus includes a 94,000-square-foot office building, a television studio and a small health club.

Messier referred all questions to the church.

Randy White, co-founder and head pastor of Without Walls, declined repeated requests for an interview. White’s ex-wife, Paula, co-founder and board member, also did not return phone calls. She now spends most of her time in New York and San Antonio, where she formed a partnership with a ministry called The Epicenter – A Place for Life.

The possible sale surprised one board member.

“I had no clue this was on the table,” said Alick Clark, a board member from Acton, Calif. “You can’t make a decision like that without the board’s approval. Right?”

The news comes as U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley is intensifying his inquiry into Without Walls and the global teleminstry it spawned, Paula White Ministries.

GO HERE to read remainder of article.

Now, when you look at the fact that Zachary Tims is on the board, is there any wonder that the church has gone under. Zachary was recently busted for adultery.

According to 2007 state incorporation records, the church board is composed of the Whites, Clark, Zachary Tims of New Destiny Ministries and Norva Carrington, the church’s chief financial officer.

Board members Carrington and Tims did not respond to messages seeking comment.

See what happens in the midst of sin? As HickTowners are aware, Paula White divorced this pitiful man, then moved to Texas with her um…uh….”partner”, the womanizing “Pastor” Rick Hawkins.      Playboy “pastor” Rick Hawkins

She is in Texas helping Rick with his pseudo-church while boring Randy suffered and literally had to close shop.

Whew! The things that happen when adultery, lust, and sin take over. My, my, my…

Church in Florida Turning Away the Homeless

March 02, 2008

People often view churches as places where they can go to get their spiritual, emotional and natural needs met. And that’s the way God planned it. However, with so many crooked shepherds fleecing the flock, fewer churches are able to meet needs as in the past. The story below is interesting:

Financially troubled Westgate Tabernacle Church is planning to turn away most of its homeless residents Monday, the church’s pastor said Sunday.Palm Beach County’s largest homeless shelter can’t afford to continue paying for food, shower facilities, clothing and other services for the roughly 75 to 100 people who live in the church west of West Palm Beach, said Bishop Avis Hill.

So shortly after serving breakfast, church leaders are expecting to force as many as 75 people to find shelter elsewhere, Hill said. Families, the elderly and the severely mentally ill will be allowed to stay, he said.

“They’ll have to go to Dumpsters and sleep in backyards and under palm trees,” he said. “We did the best we could for 12 years. We’re on a small budget here and we’ve maxed out our credit cards.”

The decision to require most of the homeless to leave comes as the church is reeling from a recent controversy over a former minister who took about $75,000 over an 18-month period to pay for his personal living expenses, as well as for baby formula, gas and medicine for the homeless, church leaders said.

Avis said last week that former church elder Alan Clapsaddle worked long hours and “may have made bad judgments” but the church will not seek criminal charges against him.

Clapsaddle has promised he will repay $20,000 that was donated to Westgate for a refrigerator truck by the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, a charity, Hill said.

Even if Clapsaddle didn’t take the money, the church would have been in financial straits, Hill said.

The church needs about $16,000 in donations every month to provide food, pay for utilities and other services, he said. Going into this month, he said, the church only has about $3,000 on hand.

Read remainder of article HERE

This is really sad. Anyone intererested in donating, feel free to do so. Information below:

If donors begin giving money again, the church will reopen its doors for those forced to leave, Hill said.

Pastor Paul Wirth of Florida’s Relavant Church Issues Sex Challenge

February 15, 2008

I recently asked my Floridian HickTowners whether or not there is some type of demon running loose in Florida that’s causing the pastors there to go crazy.  Not one of my Floridian HickTowners responded. My guess is that they are embarrassed about the abnormal number of pastors in their region who are out of control.

Don’t be embarrassed, Floridians. Your fellow HickTowners have your back!

Um…in the latest “Pastors Gone Wild” story, um….oh forget it! Just read it for yourself:

A pastor has a new challenge for his parishioners. It involves sex - a subject that may be taboo in many congregations.

The Relevant Church in Tampa’s Ybor City has issued a 30-day sex challenge.

“It’s going to be tempting and awkward at the same time for sure,” said parishioner Brent Cayson.

Single men and women can’t have sex for 30 days, and married couples are urged to have it every day.

“If you look at studies, studies say in 30 days you can develop a habit,” said Pastor Paul Wirth.

It definitely caught wives in the church by surprise.

“Our married people are far more fearful than our single people,” said Wirth.

“Sex is about more than intercourse and that’s what we’re trying to tell people,” said church member Jarret Haas.

Wirth has found biblical references that he says suggest Jesus disapproved of pre-marital sex and promoted sex in marriage. So, he believes people connect to God through life-long commitment.

That’s why he tells his single followers to abstain, and his married followers to indulge.

The Butt Shaking Choir Director of Bethel AME in Baltimore Arrested for Child Rape

February 08, 2008

I have a question for Bethel AME church members. Actually I have two questions.

Question #1 - You knew I was going to find out about that choir director of yours because my HickTowners keep me abreast of situations, so why didn’t you just send me the information? No need in trying to sweep anything under the rug. HickTowners are experts at uncovering garbage!

Question #2 - Um, didn’t you find it odd that your choir director shakes his butt at the audience while supposedly directing the choir? How is that behavior magnifying to God or to the House of the Lord?

The 31-year-old music director of Bethel AME, a high-profile West Baltimore church, has been accused of rape and child abuse in a case involving a 13-year-old girl who is a member of the congregation, according to city police and church officials.

Timothy D. Price III was charged with second-degree rape, assault and child abuse, and multiple sex offense counts, city police said. Since his arrest Wednesday night, Price, who lives in Owings Mills, has been held on $1 million bail at Baltimore’s Central Booking and Intake Center, electronic court records show.

Price and the girl had sex on three occasions in his car, off church property, between early November and January, police said. Twice the meetings occurred in a West Baltimore alley and once in the parking lot of Druid Hill Park, according to police charging documents.

The documents allege that one encounter occurred after Price obtained permission from the girl’s mother to bring her home from church Bible study class. Police said the girl was 12 when the incidents occurred. Price confessed to having sex with the girl, according to police charging documents.

The devil was the minister of music in Heaven so it’s no wonder that ministers of music world wide tend to have issues. Now we have an alleged pedophile sitting up in church preying on people’s little girls. Pitiful! Are you telling me that no one in Bethel discerned that wicked, foul spirit in that rogue?

Ted Haggard Has Discontinued His Spiritual Restoration

February 06, 2008

Do you all remember Ted Haggard? He is the former president of the National Association of Evangelicals. He was “snitched on” by his former male lover who said that the two of them had engaged in a sexual affair (Haggard is married) and that Haggard also had purchased drugs from him. Consequently, Haggard entered a “restoration” program to overcome his issues with homosexuality.

Apparently it did not work because he quit:

New Life Church said Tuesday that former pastor Ted Haggard has prematurely ended a “spiritual restoration” process begun when he was fired for sexual misconduct.

Haggard was fired from New Life Church and resigned as president of the National Association of Evangelicals in November 2006 after a former male prostitute alleged they had a cash-for-sex relationship. The man also said he saw Haggard use methamphetamine.

Haggard confessed to undisclosed “sexual immorality” and said he bought meth but didn’t use it.

New Life said in a written statement that “the process of restoring Ted Haggard is incomplete and (New Life) maintains its original stance that he should not return to vocational ministry.”

Haggard and his family moved to Phoenix last year. As part of a severance package that paid Haggard through 2007, he agreed to leave Colorado Springs and not talk about the scandal publicly. But Haggard made public an e-mail asking for financial support, drawing a rebuke from the restoration team.

Haggard couldn’t be reached.

Alabama Family Being Evicted After Reporting Daughter’s Molestation

February 04, 2008

If you are ever the victim of a crime in church, please call the police. It is fine to allow churches to do an internal investigation, but you also need to alert the law. Look at what happened in Alabama recently:

According to Christian Newswire,

A family whose mentally handicapped child was molested by a Methodist pastor’s teenage son is contacting every Methodist church in the Southeastern district.

“I’m working on ‘G’ right now” said Paul Therrell, the victim’s father. “This pastor’s son had a history that no one in the community was aware of, and they will eventually try to move on with the same discretion. We want to make sure that can’t happen. So we’re gathering email addresses and sending an alert to each one.” The attack occurred in the pastor’s own home while the Therrells dined with him on their first evening in town. The church’s District Superintendent was made aware of the incident last February but did nothing about it. After almost a year of broken promises and evasive behavior on the part of church leadership, a police report was filed. The young man was charged and plead guilty to sexual abuse. As a result, the Therrells were terminated and evicted from their home.

“His father assured us he was in weekly counseling in Dothan, AL” said the victim’s mother, Ronna Therrell. “He would never provide us with any record of that counseling or even the name of the therapist.” According to the Covington county Juvenile Officer in Andalusia, AL, the young man was never in professional counseling because no mandatory report was ever made back to the juvenile department in the county where the incident occurred, as is prescribed by law.

Not only was this boy never placed into counseling, when the parents pressed to find out what was going on, they were evicted from their home:

The family of a child who was allegedly molested by a pastor’s son is now being evicted from their home.

The Therrell family was employed by the church and lived in church housing.

Both parents have been fired and they are being forced to move.

The family says the move has devastated their family and especially their 12 year old special needs child.

“I can’t comprehend it. My daughter was victimized once and now again I’ve had to pull her out of her school. She lost her home, I had to sell her puppy and she laid on the floor and cried when I pulled her bed apart.” source

Everyone, because many churches are truly not being run by ethical or saved individuals, you truly do need to involve the law if a crime occurs. Look at all the churches that simply transferred pedophile priests. Look at how various pastors that I have highlighted here have been simply patted on the wrist or transferred when caught in criminal behavior. Involve the law from the beginning:

The Therrells say they did not go to the police because they expected the church to deal with the matter internally.

Ronna Therrell says, “I was hoping someone would contact me and ask me if what we needed, tell me they were sorry this happened to my daughter, and ask if we needed to be moved to another church.”

In response, Church District Superintendent Frederick Outlaw says quote, “We were told that the problem was being worked out between the two families and that no official complaint was even filed with the church.”

The parents filed a criminal complaint last week and just Wednesday the Covington County District Attorney charged the pastor’s son with attempted rape.

Hinn, Dollar, the Whites, and Long Refuse to Turn Over Financial Paperwork to Senator Grassley

January 21, 2008

Poor Senator Grassley. He had no idea what he was up against when he took the bold step of asking for the financial records of the Big Six: Eddie Long, Bennie Hinn Creflo Dollar, Paula and Randy White, Joyce Meyer and Kenneth Copeland. To date, only Copeland and Meyer have turned over any documents.

Question: What do the others have to hide? Don’t their church members and those who have sent them money have the right to see what exactly they have been doing with that money? Oh, the can of worms that will open once those books open. I can’t wait!

With still little cooperation from ministries that have been asked to turn over their financial statements for investigation, Sen. Charles Grassley plans to send out another round of letters requesting that they comply.

In the next few weeks, letters will again be sent to Christian television ministries that have not responded or raised concerns about the probe, which is being conducted by the Senate Finance Committee led by Grassley.

Only two – Joyce Meyer Ministries and Kenneth Copeland Ministries – of the six ministries under investigation have turned over their documents last month and only Meyer has pledged full cooperation.

The probe began in November after ministry watchdogs alleged opulent spending and possible abuse of their nonprofit status. Besides Meyer and Copeland, Grassley sent letters to Paula and Randy White, Creflo Dollar, Eddie Long and Benny Hinn – all of whom are popular televangelists whose ministries each collects tens of millions of dollars in donations each year.

Grassley requested cooperation from the ministries, asking that they provide financial records as well as responses to a wide range of questions regarding their personal and organizational finances.

Paula and Randy White and Benny Hinn have been in contact with Grassley’s office but have yet to give a clear response on whether they will cooperate.

The other two ministers, Creflo Dollar and Eddie Long who have raised questions about the committee overstepping its authority and its attack on religious freedom, said they will not comply. They also made it clear that they have been following IRS rules and contend that the IRS, not the Senate committee, is the proper forum for investigating complaints.

Why Is Jamal Bryant Allowed to Pastor in the AME Church?

January 19, 2008

As a teenager I joined the Bethel AME Church of Baltimore under Pastor John R. Bryant and his wife, Cecelia. They are the parents of Jamal Bryant and Thema Bryant.

Most of my memories of that church are positive. I remember being invited to the Bryant Parsonage/home once, as he and his wife were holding an event to thank those of us who were active in church ministries. They treated everyone like family.

I’ll never forget the father of John R. Bryant. His name was Harrison Bryant (now deceased) and he was a retired bishop and a true man of God! The first time I entered the church, he was leading the pastoral prayer and he prayed like a man who had had some encounters with God. It was clear in his prayer that he LOVED God and respected God. He had a strong legacy in the civil rights movement and when he was in his 80’s he got arrested while protesting Aparteid. Strong man for the Kingdom. That’s the type of legacy Jamal Bryant comes from. In fact, his middle name is from his grandfather.

Jamal’s mother is Cecelia. I always admired Cecelia. She dressed in African attire, wore her hair in a natural short fro, and she and Bishop Bryant had a loving marriage with mutual respect.

Pastor Bryant (who is now a bishop) was a great preacher. But I enjoyed Cecelia more. She was uncompromised in her preaching. She knew that Word backwards and forward and the girl would bring it raw every time.

Regarding the Bryant offspring—Jamal and Thema. Thema was bright, obedient and reminded me of her mother. Jamal was known throughout the church as a problem child. He had some behavioral issues and was often referred to by members as “sneaky”.

One of my fondest memories of Cecelia was of her praying. That was a praying woman. I’ll never forget a sermon she preached once where she talked about how parents can pray for their children but the children “still fail in school” and still fall under the spell of foreign spirits. Powerful sermon. It was clear to me that she was referencing her son who was having problems in school and hanging with the wrong crowd.

Well prayers can only take us but so far. You can pray and fast for a person but we all have a free will. Jamal Bryant clearly has potential. He did not finish high school but he completed his GED. Then he completed Morehouse. That’s an accomplishment. Prayer changes things, folks!

Jamal’s father is presently a bishop in the AME church. I believe that Jamal was allowed to become a pastor so quickly due to his family ties. Remember, his grandfather was a bishop. His father is a bishop. And his mother is a preacher and Elder within the AME denomination.

Jamal was not ready to be a pastor in anybody’s church. His priorities are screwed up. This is a man who brags about a Bentley that he leased. He brags about his home. He cheats on his wife and makes babies outside of his marriage. He is not fit to be anybody’s pastor. He does not even live up to what he preaches.

I said in the past that I have no intentions of covering his divorce (his wife filed for a divorce against him on the grounds of adultery and out of pride, he filed against her). I stand by that. I won’t be following the divorce here. I’m sick of that garbage already.

What I will say is this. Jamal Bryant had no business being elevated to the role of a pastor. And even now he needs to come out of that office. He is not worthy or ready for such a serious position.

God issued a warning: Beware the pastor who scatters the sheep.

I would strongly advise Jamal Bryant to examine himself and to heed God’s warning.

Here is Jamal Bryant talking on the subject, “Why Did I Get Married”

Part I

Part II

Part III
