The “authentic new docu-series” starring Bishop Noel Jones, Deitrick Haddon and four other high-profile Christian ministers is scheduled to debut in the fall of this year, and appears to follow in the vein of BET’s “The Sheards” and WE tv’s “Mary Mary” – promising viewers an inside look at the lives of popular and otherwise inaccessible men of faith.
“‘Pastors of L.A.’ will give viewers a candid and revealing look at six boldly different and world renowned mega-pastors in Southern California, who are willing to share diverse aspects of their lives, from their work in the community and with their parishioners to the very large and sometimes provocative lives they lead away from the pulpit,” according to a press release from Oxygen.

I don’t get it. What is the deal with these “reality” shows? To me, it cheapens a person…and for a minister to do this? Wow.

The Word of God is truly showing itself to be a Truth. Anyone surprised about the bombing in Boston? I believe that the World Trade Center situation in NY triggered for us a starting point in Biblical history. It was the official start of 2 Timothy 3:13. We are warned that evil men and seducers are going to deceive others while “waxing worse”. But I find it interesting that the scriptures warn us that they too will be deceived in the process. They are essentially calling light, dark and calling truth a lie. Deceived by the master deceiver, their father the devil.

And so I would say to born again Christians, gear up and keep on your safety belt. We are in for a rough ride from here on in. Children shot in school today, innocents shot in a movie theater tomorrow, bombs going off for no good reason. Yes, evil men are waxing worse. And they are doing so in a “free” country where there is a church on every corner. Sadly, the so-called priests of the churches are so busy NOT following the scriptures or reading the scriptures that they cannot teach the scriptures. And those who know the scriptures oftentimes are too cowardly to speak the truth. And so we have weak, useless churches with “pastors” cursing in the pulpits, chasing women, raping children and so forth. Yes, it’s waxing worse. God help us.

Check out this video. Every headline you see is false. Some nutcase went through great effort to build a website to mimic Osteen’s website. He fooled many (but he did NOT fool any Hicktowners!) Major publications picked up on the hoax and blasted it across the internet. They claimed that Osteen had rejected Christianity and that he was leaving his church. Hogwash!
