Um….and why isn’t the accuser’s name released, and why is she NOT in jail?

I recently reported on the tragic death of former boxer, Vernon Forrest and was surprised that not one person said “boo”. Not a “wow, that’s sad” or a “RIP” or even “wishing peace and solace to his family”.

Nothing. Zip.

Just another dead negro, shot down like a dog in front of his child for his own car—not someone else’s car but his own car that he worked hard to earn.

Seems we have become numb in the black community. I don’t expect white folks to react or care when a black person gets gunned down, but so scary when blacks don’t blink an eye.

This hunching of the shoulders is why I have slowed down on reporting child molesters and rogue ministers. Folks are becoming so numb to it that they don’t appear to care anymore. All they care about is the latest hot gossip.

For what it’s worth, Vernon Forrest’s alleged killer has turned himself in:

A man has been arrested in connection with the July shooting death of former boxing champion Vernon Forrest, Atlanta police said Tuesday night.

Demario Ware, 20, turned himself in to police on Tuesday and is being held in the Fulton County jail on charges of murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault, Atlanta police said.

Forrest, 38, was shot in a neighborhood southwest of downtown Atlanta on the night of July 25. Police and his longtime manager have said Forrest was robbed, leading to a confrontation in which he was shot several times.

Another sad case of black on black crime. In fact, I just added a new category to this blog and named it Black on Black Crime.

This time a former boxer was working on his own car that he purchased with his own money when two black criminal thugs approached him and tried to take from him his own property, purchased with his own money.

I am 100% positive that these thug animals grew up without a father. Trash!  But they are trash because they CHOOSE to be trash.  So many decent people (such as Barack Obama) grew up without a father and prospered in life.  These thugs know better but choose to be a scourge on society. 

And now they are preying on society like crazed, rabid wolves or out of control gorillas. Yes, I said gorillas. I won’t allow a white person to come in here and say it but I said it and I mean it:

Former boxing champion and U.S. Olympian Vernon Forrest was shot and killed in an attempted carjacking in Northwest Atlanta, a police spokesperson said.

Lt. Keith Meadows with the Atlanta police department told WSB Radio, the Augusta native was putting air in the tires of his Jaguar around 11 p.m. Saturday at a gas station on White Hall St. at McDaniel Blvd. Investigators said at least two men jumped out of a red Chevrolet Monte Carlo and tried to steal Forrest’s car. The boxer had a gun and started running after the suspects.

That’s where he messed up. Once he produced the gun, apparently the thugs started to run. WHY did he chase them? So sad. They shot him at least SEVEN times, once in the head. The fact that they were armed shows that they were planning to kill someone that night anyway. If not him, it would have been someone else.

Sadder still, his girlfriend and her son were in his car when the shooting took place. All the more reason why he should not have given chase.
