No one will be surprised to learn that the body found in the SUV is confirmed to be Jennifer Hudson’s nephew.
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I pray for Peace to be Still in the hearts and minds and very souls of that family.
For those as devastated as I am PRESS HERE and allow the Holy Ghost to minister to you through song.
WARNING: Any comment dropped in here attacking the child’s mother for marrying the demon who killed her family will be immediately removed. DON’T even try it up in here! This is not the time nor place. Take that somewhere else. There is pain going on right now.

May the Lord Jesus grant the Hudson family His peace.
This is so incredibly sad. I have been ill-at-ease all day because of this tragedy. However, what I am experiencing is nothing compared to what the family and friends are going through. This is truly a case for God’s Grace….
Thank you Lynn, for posting that warning. There is a time and place for everything and this ain’t it. I really pray that the surviving family members can find that peace that passeth all understanding in this.
I hope the Chicago PD does a good, thorough job of solving this murder. I do believe they have the person they want in custody.
As a mother, I can’t comprehend this. Three people in one family all killed.
As more information comes out I’m quite sure there will be more to be said.
This is a sad turn of events from Jennifer Hudson and her family. I hope this is a wake-up call to the people in the inner city areas of Chicago. The city has earned the name as the “Murder Capital of the USA” and it is a real shame. I am not sure who killed these innocent people, but the crime that befell them is indicative of the serious breakdown of law and order in the inner cities. Between 2007 and 2008, over 80 Chicago Public School students lost their lives. There was an elderly woman in Chicago who was shot through her door. Too many innocent people are falling victim to gun violence. These thugs are wreaking havoc in many neighborhoods across this country. Something drastic has to be done. I know this is very controversial, but maybe a dose of Martial Law is just what is needed to stem this disturbing and destructive crime wave. My heart broke for this little boy because my youngest son is seven, and above all, what happened to Julian King is unconscionable. That poor baby did not deserve to die.
I am so sad about this story! This just makes no sense to me! This young woman did what was right and persued her dreams the right way! She was a beacon to her family and her community! I just can’t seem to understand what would drive someone to do this unspeakable act! I feel sadness for all the family left behind and most of all her sister. No one should have to feel what this family is going through!

You aren’t? You must be the only person in the U.S. who does not know who did it. I’m just waiting for the formal charges so I can put the demon on full blast!
lynn: You always keep it real….
Lynn, I believe that Balfour did this, but considering that they live in what is considered to be a rough neighborhood in Chicago, the cops have to look beyond Balfour, to cover all bases. Besides, they have him in state custody, he isn’t going anywhere.
I’m not a fan of Guiliani’s but he was a good mayor in NY. He busted the Mafia and drastically reduced crime. What I can’t comprehend is why other mayors of large inner cities can’t seem to accomplish the same things?
Why are inner cities so violent and breed more violence? Mayor Daly seems to be just occupying a position in Chicago. Why are Philly, Detroit, Miami, St. Louis, East St. Louis, Newark, L.A., Trenton, Chicago, and other large cities so dangerous? Plus, they all have bad schools too. It appears to be subcultural attitudes. If I were a talk show host I’d be grilling some mayors about this issue. When there’s a pattern and there is, this can’t be blamed on outside forces.
Daley has been the mayor for years with the same results! The fact is, many blacks and opponents don’t vote on election day. Many good candidates are afraid to run against him because of the “political” machine in Chicago! We have to learn to start to stand up for our own communities as well!!!
If the Chicago community stands up and holds Mayor daley accountable for the shoddy job he is doing, all will have to come correct! Many sit back and complain, but not vote. I know because I was born and raised there!
@onemom: I’ve heard that Chicago has the most corrupt government in the country! That’s why they were delving deep into Obama’s background. I like Obama but I don’t know how he met Rezko, an all time crook.
Did anyone run against Daly? If not, I guess people are just sick and tired of politics now. We have corrupt incumbents with no opposition so they remain in office. This time though, some people have jumped in the ring and I will not be voting for too many incumbents.
