Bishop Thomas Weeks Is Accused of Beating Another Woman as Skeletons Emerge
August 29, 2007Update #13
I happened to visit the blog of Independent Conservative and was quite surprised, or maybe not, to see that two of Bishop Weeks’ followers had come forward (feeling guilty) to discuss his alleged abuse towards a woman who works in his office SOURCE.
I blogged about the incident HERE but did not yet have a video to show you. At least I guess it’s the same incident!
It is interesting that his two followers sat there [in the video] and admitted that in spite of seeing bruises on the woman’s neck and seeing the woman crying hysterically, they–along with Juanita Bynum, talked the woman out of pressing charges! The woman had reported that Weeks had actually “body slammed” her to the floor.
Had Juanita not cloaked her husband’s dirt, maybe he could have gotten some help and she would not have ended up being beaten and stomped like a common street walker.
I am not surprised that his followers talked the woman out of pressing charges.
I’ve been saying for the past three days that I’m having serious problems blocking Bishop Weeks’ followers from posting their insane, cultish JUNK on this blog. They have slithered around here like foul snakes and this is their modus operandi:
His cult-like followers do the following:
a. They slither onto the blog and pay either me or various readers a fake compliment to get in good graces
b. They then start to “preach” about not judging and about “praying for Weeks”
c. They quickly point out that they don’t agree with him beating his wife
d. They start making excuses for his behavior
e. They insinuate that Minister Bynum provoked and deserved the attack
f. Like demons, they then start to insult “HickTown” visitors or administrator (me)
g. They attempt to shame me or intimidate me (on my own blog!) into becoming silent
I’ve started blocking their comments. Those women are WICKED
But the fish stinks from the head down, doesn’t it?
Check out this video of the nail polish wearing “Bishop” Weeks’ court date, where he is being accused of kicking Minister Bynum in her vagina as he tells her, “I’ll kill you, bitch!” Video
This case is also being discussed by OverAnalyzeIt

Surely if this claim is true and further reported in mainstream media the light bulb will come on for some of his followers.
I still don’t understand the reasoning of the women in the video for not ENCOURAGING Ms. Robinson to seek medical assistance and file charges at the time of the assualt. Did they along with him think he was somehow above the law because he is self proclaimed Bishop? I do applaud them for coming forward now and seeing this man’s behavior does not line up with the Bible most of us read.

Behind the scenes, I have really been having issues with Weeks’ followers. As far as I am concerned, it’s a cult.
Yes, it was brave of those two women to bond together to break loose from the spell and my heart goes out to the woman who still works there after having been allegedly beaten by him. She must truly need a job and apparently she has no husband to protect her.
Make no mistake. His followers (the ones still in the church) do NOT care that he attacked Bynum or the the secretary. Their sole goal is to protect him and to try to visit blogs and attempt to intimidate blog owners into shutting up.

No this isn’t a skeleton. It’s more like a testimony that came back to haunt Bishop.
Yes, you read it correct. He spoke on this incident!!!
I remember this testimony very well….no ‘he said, she said’
He told about this at one of their ‘Teach Me How To Love You’ conferences. Both Bynum and Weeks were preaching tag team.
She led with how, (this was before ATL)she approached her husband about how he treated his staff(in DC). How his behavior and treatment was totally unacceptable for a man of God. She voiced serious concerned that he was running the risk of losing everything, if he didn’t change (she was clear, that he had major anger issues). He added, how he wasn’t able to hear what she was saying, and ran out of the church. He told how he climbed in the back of their Lincoln Navigator behind the driver’s seat and sat on floor crying like a baby. He gave all the visuals, how snot was running out of his nose and his body was shaking out of control. Juanita followed him, and sat in the seat while he remained on the floor. He concluded with, how he had to learn how to treat others the way he desired to be treated. Learn how to treat his staff with respect and not fly off the handle and not micro-manage everyone around him…blah! blah! blah! How his wife had helped him to deal with his behavior.
Juanita needs to forward a copy of the DVD to her lawyer. At this point, I can’t imagine this case going to trial. I see a plea bargain. It’s been less than a week since the beating occurred, and everyday more damaging evidence against this man surfaces.

Lynn, if you’re using Wordpress 2.x there are some nice plug-ins you could use to ban those who get unruly.

Thanks,
I’m going to talk to my webmaster about adding a plug-in to allow me to ban certain folks.
I have zero tolerance for people who make excuses for the devil.

Chelle,
You have got to be kidding? The blessing here is that everything is confessed on tape.
I wonder why he did not go into counseling? Too high minded?

Below is a snippet of a note from one of Bishop Week’s followers. I blocked it from appearing on this site:
From “Jasmine”:
just want to say that I do agree with everyone that what bishop weeks did to prophetess bynum was terrible, but
Did you all see the “but”? When you see the “but”, it means to take a deep breath because you are about to get bombarded with what I outlined above in “a” through “g”
NOTE TO WEEKS’ FOLLOWERS: Stop wasting your time trying to post that nonsense to this blog. Take it elsewhere.

morning Lynn,
I tell you this is a “HOT MESS” the more I read it. If it’s ever a time the body of Christ needs to be fasting and praying it’s now. The Church has really taken a beaten lately. We had the guy in Denver ummmm, can’t think of his name. Was it Haggard or something like that? Now all of this mess. And we wonder why the unsaved don’t come through our church doors because they think all preachers are fake. I mean can we really blame them? All I can say is this you will know a tree by the fruits that it bears. Just watch people long enough and if they’re fake the fruit will show it.
God Bless

One of Weeks’ followers just told me that “I” am going to reap what “I” have sown.
Keep in mind that “I” have not kicked, stomped, pushed or attacked anyone.
Yet, that same follower does not appear believe that Weeks will reap anything. The only reapers are those who are reporting his behavior.
And btw…”slander” refers to saying something about a person that is false. This blog is reporting what the national news outlets are getting from the mouths of those willing to testify against Weeks and given the mounting evidence against him, it’s not looking good for him.

From what I’ve read and seen in these video clips, Thomas Weeks is a disturbed man. He’s also very scary, so what is his hold over people? I couldn’t continue working for someone who assaulted me. I’d be too afraid that he might get mad and do it again.
Each day brings more strange revelations about Weeks’ character, but there is little information available about his first wife. I wonder if he was abusive to her too.
And I really don’t understand how those women could have counseled the church employee to remain silent. It’s too bad that she didn’t have some friends or family who could step in and convince her to press charges against this monster. This was not just a bad argument - he choked her! This guy seems to have problem with women.

JustMe,
You bring out interesting points. It is sooooo abnormal for a woman to defend a man who is abusive.
TWO women joined together and helped to talk a victim out of going to the emergency room for fear that the police would investigate their “pastor”.
And I have to call Juanita Bynum out on this too. IF it is true that she helped talk the woman out of pressing charges, she was 100% wrong and ultimately it came back to bite her.

I watched that video and I couldn’t believe. That’s scary because it’s almost like mind control. Anytime people attempt to control you they are borderline operating witchcraft. That spirit wants to control and manipulate people and that’s almost what I am seeing from reading and watching these videos.

Wow I thank God for my pastor more and more whew…
Is it just me or is this totally crazy. I knew something was wrong with the guy because his doctrine is so off but now it really does look cultish… I have been is church all of my life but baby

I too cannot believe what I am hearing from these Bishop followers. This is one of the first blogs I have read on this subject that has not made me want to vomit. Some the these “christians” do not believe in holding their leaders accountable for their actions. As you said they are quick to say that the women somehow provoked him into hitting here. It’s a shame. I refuse to attend church it just the blind leading the blind and personally I can blindly lead myself.

Another point to add, it is really not abnormal for a person who is a victim of abuse to defend the abuser even if he attacks someone else. I believe that Bynum was abused by Weeks before due to his public display of the violence. One has to understand the cycle of abuse and behaviors associated with it, the women’s behavior does not make since but it is the way they have learned to cope with the situation.

“Check out this video of the nail polish wearing “Bishop” Weeks’ court date, where he is being accused of kicking Minister Bynum in her vagina as he tells her, “I’ll kill you, bitch!”
Wow, I did not not know he called her the B-word. I guess the satan made him do that too.
NOTE - I changed the capital “s” in satan to small “s”. Capitalizing a name shows respect and the devil gets none of that.
