Sounds exactly like abhi… he was very friendly – we spent a lot of time chatting about the US/India – making money on line. He seemed like a good friend and claimed he had a break down and was scammed by his partner – couldn’t pay server bills… on and on.

This post was really old – but for some reason I saw an old email from him and was wondering if he had resurfaced and found your post.

He scammed $2,000 from me.

He even asked to borrow $500 from me to help him with a server bill and I obliged which put me $500 more in the whole…

I will say that I learned a lot about being scammed online and totally changed the way I do business with outsourcers… so for that I’m thankful!
